Back for some TLC for my toes. Shellac is the best. No waiting for dry time. No appointment needed this fine sunny afternoon. Wish I got the girls name because she gave me an amazing massage. Left my feet feeling like jello. The vibe here is that of a nail salon with massage chairs. The chairs here are really comfortable and felt larger than the same salon in Bellevue. Different massage settings. Be careful though because these chairs can leave you sore if you choose a hard setting. Came over to this salon to visit old stomping grounds and it's a good salon. Parking can be tricky. If you park in the lot behind the salon you need to use the parking app. There are spots out front if available. I parked across the street at the QFC. Techs will try to upsell you with hidden fees. Upon reading other reviews, it seems others have had this issue. If you decide to come here, I suggest you be clear or ask if there are any additional charges. I went in for a simple soak off gel nails. Typically those go for about $15~ I was vocal I needed them removed because my work does not allow any polish on my nails (not even clear polish) and I only had gel nails due to being on vacation. The request was simple. I needed to take them off. No new set, no nail polish, no manicure, etc. I've never had an issue at other salons. The tech asked if I wanted my cuticles cut as she was soaking them off. I said "...sure?" It was my fault for not double checking and being naive to the fact that minor cuticle cleaning would equal a whole ADDITIONAL manicure charge. I thought I was already clear that I did not want any additional services, so I didn't know that I needed to really double check that cutting cuticles is a manicure? She removed my gel and did some extremely minor cuticle cutting and charged me $50 ($15 soak off and $35 manicure). I definitely felt that she took advantage of the situation and knew that I did not want to do a full manicure but skewed her words in order to get a yes. If she straight up asked if I needed a manicure, I would have said no. Service was friendly but for simply taking advantage of their customers - I will not be supporting a business as such ever again. :) read more

I had a fill + gel and the price was higher than most places I go at $65 but I get it's downtown Bellevue. However, they upcharged me another $10 to do my cuticles... I've had acrylic nails for years and I have never been charged extra for that, you can't get a fill without cutting back the cuticles?! They didn't tell me it cost more either, it was such a bizarre and unpleasant experience when I checked out. Avoid this nail salon for 2 main reasons. - Unhygienic. They don't clean your nails if you're getting acrylic. They just glued on the acrylic right away. Because of that... - Acrylic nails fell off after 4 days. 1 nail on the 4th day, another on the 5th day, and basically all gone in a week. The highest I could give is possibly a 2-star because they were able to accommodate me on a hectic holiday weekend. However, I realized they probably have availability because anyone who's been here once wouldn't go again. The pedicure was ok, but I figured the lady who did mine was new, so she cared about doing a decent job. I assumed she's new because she didn't speak English at all. I asked for an acrylic manicure and boy oh boy. The lady didn't clean my nails at all. No dipping in water or pushing my cuticles back. She started working on my nails while I was about done with my pedicure. She just started putting glue on my nails and measuring/putting on the acrylic stuff. That was so odd and gross. Granted, I just washed my hands before coming here, but that's not how you do a manicure! You clean the nails first and foremost! The next thing was filing the acrylic. DON'T GO HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR NATURAL NAILS TO GET RUINED. She filed my nails like you'd think an 8 year old would do a better job. It wasn't a good shape at all. You know when someone is showing you how to do something that you don't know how to do at all and they seem so confident doing it? Good news is that you actually know what proper work would look like. Bad news is that she was careless and just filed my nails away and ruined them. She is the worst nail technician ever. 4 days. My nails lasted for 4 days instead of 2-3 weeks which is normal for acrylic nails. I'm glad it lasted at least 2-3 days for the main event I went to. Maybe you could get away with their pedicure... but for manicure, I suggest finding a different place. read more

Stay away from this place. They do the worse acrylic nails. I tried them a few times and they went no where but downhill. When I first started going there they had one good nail tech, after she left no one else could do a basic job. After 24 hours all my nails fell off. I had to go to another salon to get them redone. Booked a full set and a pedicure, when I arrived I asked for a long ombré full set and a white gel pedicure. I left with a short dip French tip manicure. They did get the toes right but they were done sloppy with jagged edges. They convinced me to do dip instead of shellac mostly because they didn't seem confident in their ability beyond dip. The whole time I was waiting for this clearly French tip manicure to turn to ombré but it never did. I decided not to say anything and just give a subpar tip because she had made it clear she understood I was asking for ombré but this is still what she did. I'm fairly certain they don't even know what ombré is. The dip is messy with white powder scattered throughout the nail as well... not too mention the bill was $130 before tip read more

Decent nail place, but pricey. I have been to this nail salon a total of 4 times. While they may be convenient in a pinch and do decent nails, they are priced higher than any other place I've been to and try to always upcharge you which is the reason I gave them three stars. The ambiance is nice and much like any other salon. They do a good job with corona cleanliness including distancing and partitioning. They also have liners for their footwash bowls which adds to effective sanitization even before Corona. The pedicures are decent, they do a good job with scrubbing and cleaning up the cuticles. The nail polish is good and decently long lasting. However 2 of the 4 polishes I had they forgot the top coat so they didn't last quite as long as I had hoped. The service was okay, the ladies are kind, but not overly welcoming. After your pedicure they usually don't bother to help you put your sandals back on and move on to the next customer. Most of the times they will rush over to bill you though. They also always ask you multiple times if you want to upgrade to a different service or add an additional service which can feel a little pushy. The cost ended up being around $45 for a simple pedicure which felt pricey given the mediocre service and missing top coats. One additional time I went in just for a polish change. On the phone I was told it was $13 but after the polish change they charged me $17 saying it was because of corona charges. I payed it and tipped, but felt on principal they should have been more upfront. Also, they do take CASH ONLY which is kind of inconvenient especially when they are charging so much and not everyone carries cash nowadays. Overall, decent pedicures, a bit pricey and mediocre service. However, maybe worth it in a pinch for convenience. They are clean and get the job done. Don't forget to BRING CASH and perhaps ask the price again up front. read more

I've been here numerous times. I am giving this review based on Dip Nails and not caring too much about a spa experience. My star rating is based on result. I don't usually have time for the massage offered (but from the happy groans around me, I know it's good ). I have been elsewhere for Dip and had thick globs on my nails. This is not it. All the technicians here are doing their best to ensure a beautiful result. The dip nails are done really well. I can't quite give a full five stars as I usually get some "ouch" every time. This review is long overdue. I've been seeing Nina for dip manicures every three weeks for almost a year now. When I first saw her, my nails were weak and short. I had to use acrylics. With her care and patience, my real nails are now longer and stronger than they have ever been. I am always happy with the excellent quality of work and attention to detail Nina provides. She genuinely cares about the quality and always delivers. She also have a great creative eye for colors and designs so when I can't pick a color, she gives fun recommendations. She is also happy to try new things, like patterns I find on Pinterest. Over all, I so happy to have met Nina and love working with . I just got dip acrylics and a signature pedicure and had a great experience. Chloe was super accommodating and always making sure I was happy and comfortable! She was super friendly and understanding of what I was looking for (shorter and functional!) My pedicure was really nice with the massage that went along with it. The services and charges $5 for dip powder removal. $15 if you don't get it done with them. $45 BASIC pedicure, not even a little scrub, was informed that the signature pedicure is the one that does the scrub and buffing $58 Dip powder NOT manicure. No cuticle removal. Was informed that I would have to add a basic manicure service. Since there is no updated menu with the services described and detail my expectations were different. Prices are also not available Note that I've been coming here for around a year, so if their services/packages/prices changed there was no clear communication. I left the place wondering why I was treated differently. Nobody likes that feeling when spending some time and money on self care. There is a lot to say about this place, the only reason why I went was location. It's disappointing when a business shows that they accept walk-ins and proceeds to treat said walk-in like an inconvenience. I went in for a simple service, I just wanted my full set removed. I was asked to wait initially, which I am understanding of. Once I was asked to go to the back it was regular procedure. Things were fine I was soaking my hands. The gal that was helping me proceeds to help another customer while my nails soak and then tells me another person is going to complete the service for me. Once that lady came to work on my nails, being unable to understand what she is saying and only going off her body language she seemed rushed and annoyed. She attempts to get her station ready, kicks over a trash can, which is unnecessary and unprofessional. Then starts filing away at my nails, rushing through and using the hard buffer she knocked my fingers near my knuckles multiple times. I would get possible at the tip where my nail is but my knuckles?! That's just absurd! Another employee takes over for her so now we are on staff #3 working on my removal and she is patient and personable. Another walk in steps in during this time so she goes to tend to her and I get the angry one again. She finishes the job which I can even say she did a great job on because I still have products on my nail and I had requested a manicure and she said I was done. Really one of the worst establishments I have been in. I gave it two stars because one person can't ruin the entire thing and the fish had great service. Ridiculous. After writing the review for this salon, their owner contacted me to offer me a complimentary pedicure service to fix the problem I indicated in the review. I accepted, so I went back. I met with their store manager, and showed her the work done on me last time. She thanked me to bring it up to their attention and promised me that they would do a good job this time. The customer service was great as I indicated last time. Everyone in the salon was very friendly and polite. It's clean and relaxing there. This time, as the manager had promised, the work was beautifully done. Because of the previous experience, I did take a close look at my nails before I left the salon. Worst manicure I've had in a very, very long time. They hurried me into a seat and let me pick a shellac color. After I picked a color, they told me that they were out - this happened three times. THREE TIMES. So finally they decided they were going to whip up a color for me which ended up being okay but was an annoying process. The gentleman who did my nails I am not quite sure is even qualified, licensed or trained to do this. He barely even filed my nails, or trimmed my cuticles. He kind of just slathered (and I use that word intentionally) the shellac polish on - which was a mess and getting all around my nail. BEST part - it all started chipping three days later.
