Went in for a oil change and The AMAZING Service I received was wonderful - Jason and his crew let me know that my Serpentine belt was super cracked ordered a new one for me and also found a loose panel and reattached it for me also told me I had enough points for free fluid . I normally go to the Redding Premier and I have never gotten this kind of amazing service over there, we are retiring to the coast and I can tell you for sure I will only come to the Premier in Eureka from now on ... I have been a long time customer have always enjoyed service up until this last 6 weeks. not sure who has taken over or maybe the guys that are working in there have changed procedures when I have come the past 3 times todsy was a shit show. I was asked to move to a different colum? after being directed to move an sit in line for the 3rd time this month waiting over 30 minutes to get an oil change an other services maintenance on my vehicle which after having an extreamly rude staff member tell me if I can't move my truck he or a coworker could? umm excuse me I have been here 3 times in this month all of which have left without service being done due to the time that Ive waisted sitting in line like all others have. why do they get to pick an chose who to help or try an get customers to leave? I'm not the only one that's left the past few times others have also backed up an left when asked to move lines? it's very disappointing to see this change as it used to be a reputable service. unfortunately I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. the many folks I e reccomended to go there as well. please do better we all work an pay for these services should be treated with respect am fair service. This company up sales everything your car doesn't need. 80 dollars for a basic oil change. Then they ask if you want to change your oil filter. Duh that is included. Not the case at all. $15 dollars extra. Quit taking advantage of the elderly and those who have no clue about cars. Lesson learned and won't go back. I hope to spread the word everywhere possible. Outrageous pricing. A "basic" oil change cost me $63 despite the fact their range of price was $52 to $57. When I inquired why mine was more, I was informed that I was charged an extra $3 to check the transfer case fluid because drive a 4x4, $5 because I asked for 10w-40 instead of 5w-30, and an undisclosed amount for disposing of the old oil. None of these charges were mentioned or discussed until it was time to pay. But hey, at least I got a free can of coke. If you are thinking of going to this place to get an oil change, do yourself a favor and google the nearest jiffy lube and save yourself some money. read more

I bought my Chevy traverse in August and had an oil change done at the local shop I was charged over $400 and then it began to shutter when I pulled off so I went back to the local shop, they charged me over $500 and said they fixed it. Nope still shuttered. Sooooo the Oil light came on decided to pull into this oil change shop, I wan amazed NOW after my oil change today my car has not shuttered AT ALL. I am ecstatic with these guys and they only charged me $125 for a oil change, replaced a filter and some other things I requested. Do not take a car here that is yours. Maybe a work vehicle or a government vehicle. The staff was friendly. However the attention to detail lacks here, and they will leave you hanging if anything comes up awry. I pulled in the Monday before thanksgiving, headed to SoCal, and they put my oil filter seal on broken. I unknowingly drive south on the Highway 99 and suddenly 30 minutes later my vehicle says zero engine oil, shut off engine. That shows in bright red! It is about 9 a.m and I'm in morning traffic and trying to get off the highway. I pull over and my entire engine area was steaming and oil was leaking. They didn't even put all the screws in, on the bottom oil flap. It was already leaning visibly and my car was looking like it was in bad shape. Then immediately I called the Yuba City location for Premier Oil Change. The manager said he doesn't recommend it but his boss said to drive to closest place to get an oil change. Can you believe the car said to turn off, and these people say to drive. They couldn't come help me at all. I call VW, they said do not drive that vehicle. I call a shop nearby and they say same thing. I have to call roadside assistance to fish me out of downtown and drive me and my vehicle to a repair shop. Premier Oil Change reimbursed me for the work of which took all of Monday and I went back to them, as they had told me they would wash all the oil off my car. My car smelled like oil for a week. I was not compensated for losing my wages as I had work in LA, and zero compensation for the time I lost in general as I had to then stay in Northern California until after the holiday. The management and personal again were courteous but almost blew my engine up and don't take any fault for it. In the end, I have a nice looking car that is now having problems and I had zero prior issues as I went to dealership for all oil changes except for one time. I've had to spend 1400 bucks since then and they have been quiet since I told them the dealership I took my car to tells me Premier Oil Change initially put the wrong oil in my vehicle to begin with. They denied it but it was right there on paper. Nice people but they are not professionals and I would never recommend this service location. I would not wish this to happen to any driver on the road. They tried to save face saying they would send me a $500 visa. That changed as they mailed me $500 gift card to Premier Oil Change. They said they wanted me to come back and maybe I would be another oil change. The audacity was crazy. They have terrible business ethics. I drive vehicles long distances and this place put me and my life at risk. I could never tell anyone to take a vehicle they care about to this place. Do not do it! read more

Had oil and filter changed at the end of February this year in my 2015 Ford Escape. Friendly staff but they didn't tighten my oil filter all the way and it slowly leaked out all the oil until my oil light went on within the past couple days. We got under the car to find a loose filter. In the 8 years I've had this car, I've never lost oil, so this was a first. The filter IS difficult to access on this model so thus it is difficult to tighten, but professionals should be able to do this no problem. Hopefully someone reads this review and can improve their service for the next customer to come in with the same car as mine. read more

We always use Premier Oil Change when we need to get an oil change. One nice thing if I go on a trip I pull in and they check the fluids for free between oil changes. Yesterday my wife's car had a low tire pressure message. I checked the tires and they had the correct air pressure. I swung in and they also checked the tire pressure. They went out of their way to recalibrate the tire sensor, causing the message and light to shut off. Car is good as new. I appreciate the outstanding customer service. read more

They also got me in and out so fast, too, with coffee while I waited. On top of all that, they identified a signal light that was out and changed it very quickly. Normally my go to oil change spot. Hit a rough patch this last oil change. Had Oil changed before heading over to Cottonwood. Once we arrived could smell something burning and discovered we were over a quart low on oil. Went to the location on Anderson told them it was loosing oil and I had it just changed at their redding location. They acted all confused and kept asking if I was there for an oil change. I gave them the invoice from the Eureka location and explained again. The replied that It should be good. Clearly it's not. They checked oil and said it was low. Really.... I again told them it was loosing oil. The finally looked and found that oil filter was not on correct. Then fixed it. Went to the car wash to get some of the oil off and it was not working and the manager was away with the key. Drove up the Redding location and got truck washed. All set now. Hopefully!!! read more

I went in for an oil change on 11/14 in my boyfriend's vehicle, and left to visit him in Santa Rosa the following evening. I made it to Piercy on 101 South before a loud banging noise caused me to pull over. I looked under the car and found that the skid plate was hanging on by one bolt, and had almost flown off. I was able to rig it back onto the bottom of the vehicle with twine and duct tape, and made it the rest of the way down to Santa Rosa. I called Premier in Eureka and asked for the manager the following day. The person I spoke to put me on the phone with someone named Justin, who assured me that the situation would be resolved to our satisfaction. After that, we took the vehicle to a mechanic in Windsor and had them look at the skid plate. They said it was still in good shape, but confirmed that all the bolts--and two plastic clips, made by Honda--were missing. They said that they suspected that the bolts had been finger tightened, but not replaced properly, and that the plastic clips had been forgotten completely. My boyfriend had to leave work early and follow me down to the shop in my car, which cost him two hours of lost wages. I spoke to Justin at Premier in Eureka again this afternoon, about 40 minutes before I made it back to town. I told him what the mechanic in Windsor had told me--that there were two plastic clips made by Honda that were necessary to complete the repair. He told me to come in so the guys could look at the vehicle, and assured me that if they needed to order the clips, that they would. I arrived at the shop, pulled into the bay, and let the guys work on the car. No one communicated with me about what was going on, until Justin came out with an invoice for me to sign and a refund for the oil change that hadn't been finished properly. I told him that it wasn't my car, and that I needed to call my boyfriend and get his approval before signing anything. I handed Justin the phone, and my boyfriend asked what Justin had done and what he planned to do to make the situation right, and Justin started speaking to him very disrespectfully. He claimed to know nothing about the clips that we had discussed previously, and said that he had used zip ties to attach the skid plate instead. He continued to yell at my boyfriend, and at me, and walked out of the building with my phone. I asked him to bring my phone back and to follow through on his promise about replacing the clips. He continued to yell and curse at us both, telling me to get out of his shop. I was able to get my phone back from him and asked him why he had put zip ties on the car, without our consent, after going back on his word about the clips. The whole thing escalated way out of control, and I am literally shaking right now. There was no reason for him to make false promises, he had no right to go back on his word, and he had no right to use zip-ties on the vehicle without consulting us first. But more than anything, he had no right to speak to either one of us the way he did. I have been a loyal customer for years and never would have expected to be mistreated like this by anyone at a local business. Literally all we're asking for is the completion of the oil change we paid for on 11/14. We didn't ask to have our time wasted at another shop, we didn't ask to get yelled at, and we certainly didn't ask for zip-ties in place of the replacement parts that were lost due to gross negligence on the part of Premier employees. read more

Driving back from the redwoods, I realized I needed an oil change. I came across Premier Oil Change after calling several places that had no availability the next day. Luckily, Premier Oil Change doesn't take appointments so I was able to take a quick detour there on my way home. I can honestly say this was the best oil change experience I've ever had. We pulled our car into line and were quickly greeted by an extremely warm and friendly person asking what kind of drinks we would like. We waited about 20 minutes for our turn, sipping hot chocolate and coffee. Once we were up, every step of the oil change process was quickly explained to us. When we turned down additional services, there was no pressure from the guys working on the car. Everyone working there appeared so happy that we inquired about what it was like to work there. We were told that the owner is an amazing boss, that the place is a local business, and that they are paid well and look out for each other. There was even a mission statement posted on the wall that read: "Our Mission: To provide premier service, love people, and add value to our community." Take your car to Premier Oil Change to support a local business that's doing right by their employees and adds thoughtful touches to their service, all for a reasonable price. read more
