I started a couple of years back. I must say my initial impression of the operation was poor based…read moreon the help I received from one of the NP's, Chris. I shortly afterward actually met with Dr. Siwek, Jr. He's a good doctor, knowledgeable and good at explaining options and treatments. The whole good nature of his practice goes completely down the tubes when it comes to communicating with this operation. No matter when you call, you are going to be on hold anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. Then you are greeted by the unfriendliest of receptionists, who can't wait to pass you onto yet another line, where you'll wait another 20 minutes before you'll get disconnected. And when you choose the option of leaving a message to "save your place in line," you'll also never hear back from them. Also, the party that sets the appointments showed little empathy for me (can only assume all folks get the same treatment) having to wait 6 weeks in strong pain to get into see anyone in any of their offices. Siwek Sr. needs to either hire more people, and/or find someone to better train his existing employees to remember who his patients are - people in pain!

I am very disappointed with the pain center of Arizona. My very first appointment was scheduled…read morewhen I was in the hospital. I don't know why Dr Jones wrote a prescription for opiates because when I went back after the emergency room visit I just had, Jennifer told me that they did not have an opiate base management there. So I don't know what pain management could be at that practice. I got two shots in my T12 and I've had a bad reaction. The procedure was actually done at Banner University Hospital in Phoenix. I don't know what else to do.

I'm going to say the typical "if I could give this place 0 stars I would" based on MULTIPLE…read moreexperiences my mother had. For her first visit she made an appointment at a location convenient to her and when she went in to drop off her new patient paperwork, they told her that the doctor she was scheduled with didn't come to that office which was not what she was originally told. She was then told that her doctor was leaving the practice, so she set up an appointment with a nurse practitioner for a few weeks later. Her telehealth visit was at 7AM in which the nurse practitioner did not show up to. My Mom had already waited an EXTRA two weeks because of THEIR scheduling errors. So she called and rescheduled the teleheath appt for the end of that day, which must have pissed the nurse practitioner off, because when she saw my mother she was extremely rude and rushed because she was so bothered that she had to stay an extra 30 minutes (if that) to take care of my mother as a patient, which is HER JOB. So, last week my mom tried to get a refill on her Gabapentin (which is NOT an opiate or a narcotic), and they denied her prescription. They never bothered to call her so she called them and was very rudely told she needed to see someone before they would refill it. By this point four days had already gone by and she was going to be out. The MA that called her back was extremely rude and told her she HAD to come in Monday if she wanted her refill. No courtesy, no options given, just nasty attitude. My mom said forget it and that she'd go see someone else (wouldn't you?). In the meantime my mom calls her primary care to get a refill to hold her over until she finds another specialist and this office HAD CALLED MY MOTHERS PRIMARY CARE AND TOLD THEM SHE WAS UNCOOPERATIVE AND THAT SHE DISPLAYED DRUG SEEKING BEHAVIOR. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. HOW, HOW could you do that to someone after treating her the way you did? She has NEVER, NEVER taken drugs in her life and HATES narcotics. So now my mother's Primary care wont fill her prescription and shes stuck being in pain and having to find TWO new doctors. I'm in the medical field and have been for 15 years and I have never thought an office was such trash in my entire life. SHAME on you. If I could call you every name in the book, I would. If you want patient care or expect to be treated with any kind of respect, don't come here.

If you are seeking true pain management, look elsewhere. There is such a high turn over rate with…read moreoffice staff, that you can't even remember who you spoke to last. They honestly do not care if you are without your pain meds. You can never speak to a live person unless you leave a message and wait 3 days for them to call you back. Then, they like to argue with you as if they know who you are. A 2 minute telehealth visit will run you about $400. Then they won't even call in your scripts. I have been without my medications for 4 days plus another 2 over the weekend. These doctors and practitioners do not take your health and pain seriously. This Estrella location is horrible. The Chandler location is much better. I am going to change businesses and report these jokers to the medical board for abandonment. Do yourselves a favor and find a better place with peoe who honestly care.
