Like the four (4) previous reviewers, I had a great experience with Lumba's Towing. I needed a non-urgent tow (we have an extra vehicle and the car that broke down was in a shopping mall parking lot) and put in a request for quotes using the Yelp! process. Lumba's was very quick to respond to my request and provided a quote FAR more competitive than the others. Communication overall was very good (I called and it went to voicemail once, but received return call shortly thereafter), car-towing experience was handled professionally, and all done at a great price! I was curious why Yelp had three (3) "not recommended" reviews for Lumba's Towing and found that these 5-star, positive reviews were likely excluded because the user hadn't submitted a review before and it was relatively short, which doesn't make sense to me. So a customer, for the first time, feels so strongly about the great service received from Lumba's that he/she decides to leave a brief review to let others know about their great experience with the company... Then Yelp! buries it, likely because it's their first review and is relatively brief. I'm sure Yelp! has its reasons, but I want Lumba's to get the credit they deserve so I mentioned it in my opening line. I'm a big fan of Lumba's towing and the number is already in my wife and two teenage daughters' smartphone directory in case they need an emergency tow! (We used to be AAA members, but have grown tired of their absolutely horrible service - that story is for another review!)

I told him it had a bubble in the sidewall and he acted as if he didn't see it. He told me that I would need to take it to the shop where he bought the tire to have it replaced. The very next day I ended up on the side of the highway with a flat tire having to pay for a tow! Save yourself the extra money and trouble and have your vehicle towed to a reputable tire shop from the start because his service is simply not worth it.

Complaint Letter (For Yelp / Google Reviews)…read more Title: Unreliable Roadside Assistance - Left Stranded by Life360, Reece to the Rescue & Angel Towing --- I'm writing this review to warn anyone considering using Life360 roadside assistance, especially when partnered with Reece to the Rescue or Angel Towing. Over the course of two days, I requested a tow through Life360. Two different companies -- Angel Towing and Reece to the Rescue -- both failed to show up, canceled without notice, and refused to answer their phones or respond to messages. Angel Towing accepted the dispatch, then immediately canceled stating their driver had a flat tire--yet never followed up or offered a solution. They just canceled my request and submitted my request to Reece to the Rescue Towing. Reece to the Rescue was assigned next, but never arrived and ignored every call and text to their listed number. When I contacted Life360 support, things got even worse. I was repeatedly given disconnected or incorrect phone numbers and told to "call back later." The agent refused to escalate me to an actual supervisor or customer service representative, stating chat-only support -- even after I made it clear I had already been stranded for hours. Because of this repeated negligence, I missed my repair shop's operating window and lost an entire day trying to get basic assistance I was promised and paying for. --- Bottom Line: Life360's roadside assistance system is broken. It was once top-notch, now somehow they have ran it into the ground. Angel Towing and Reece to the Rescue are completely unreliable partners. If you value your time and safety, do NOT rely on any of these companies in an emergency.
