It looks like nothing has changed over time according to recent negative reviews on Premier. I am posting this to warn the future renters. RUN!!! We rented a townhome in Vancouver, WA. from Premier from June 2006 through April 2012. We were super clean tenants. We did not wear shoes in the house, we had no kids at home, we didn't smoke, and we had no pets. Once a year Premier inspected their rentals. They would always comment that our townhome was spotless. As we did live there for a long time, we did need to have some maintenance done. All of the other comments about Premier ignoring, or delaying maintenance requests are true. We experienced it as well. We gave them written notice that if they didn't fix the problems that the damage to their townhome was not going to be our responsibility. Shortly after that, they took our maintenance request seriously and fixed the problem. The only normal person who works at Premier is Natalie (if she is still there.) We strongly agree with all other negative reviews of other employees who work there. When we moved out, we went out of our way to leave our place spotless. The walls didn't need to be repainted, there were no holes in the walls, there was no mold on the deck, the windows were clean, and the carpet was clean. As we were moving out of state, we used their carpet cleaning company, and that was a mistake. They charged us $275.00 for carpet cleaning out of our deposit. The original quote they gave us was $140.00 to $175.00. Upon contacting Premier regarding this, they stated that our carpet had urine stains on it from a small pet. First, I cannot even have pets as I am deathly allergic to them. We were quite in shock that they would insist that we had a pet. Secondly, our carpet was in the same condition as when we when we moved in. They stated that we had an extra fee for cleaning an extra dirty walk path. What they were telling us was ridiculous, absurd, and a lie. They simply were attempting to keep as much of our deposit as possible. We did fight with them and got our $75.00 back for our (non-existing) pet. Our deposit was not given back to us within 30 days as stated by Washington law. We had to make numerous phone calls to Premier. Often we were told to call back as Linda was not there. We took care of this townhome like it was our own. Twice we considered buying it, but we're glad we didn't. Watch out for Premier. Read your rental agreement very carefully, especially regarding moving out notice. It is 20 days, but only if it is given by the 10th day of the month you are in. Otherwise, you are responsible for the next month's rent. Our rent was increased three times over the time that we lived there. We were glad to be done with Premier (we thought we were done...). One day (about 6 months later after we moved out) we decided to look on Premier's web site how much they charge for rent... We were in shock when in one rental add we saw the pictures of our furniture in our Vancouver townhome in their advertisement for a different unit. They took those pictures (without our permission or knowledge) when they were doing their yearly inspections and posted it on the internet without our permission. Unbelievable! These people have zero conscious. We called them and yelled at them, they removed those photos quick. Take a pictures of you place (if you currently renting from them) before you move out and be prepared to fight. BE AWARE! We filed a complaint againt PPM to BBB. They removed the photos of our furniture and the car after that. A month later they are doing it again. These people don't believe in KARMA. I do. I am a renter with premier property management My wife and I started our first apartment here together. We have had many issues with this property management group. To start they gave us payment issues. we wanted to make sure we were paying on time every time being that this was our first apartment. We checked it a few times each month to make sure it goes through so we don't get an sort of late fees or anything. My wife and I are very wise with our money and had about 6 months of income in the bank for our emergency funds at all time. 3 months into our automatic withdraw coming out of our account to Premier Properties, we get a call. This is about 3 or 4 days after the direct deposit should have gone through. We checked the day after it was due and it did indeed get taken out. Turns out the call us and tell us we are going to be evicted if we do not pay our rent. I thought that was strange and I went home to see if it was taken out of the account again just to double check and there is an eviction notice on our door. I call my bank and ask if they know what was wrong. They said it was taken out but Premier Property management had reversed the charge. I quickly make another payment. So I call them and see what happened, I call 3 different people 4 or 5 times over the course of 2 days ! Tuesday and Wednesday, days that they are clearly open. I leave messages explaining what is going on from the news I heard from the bank and still no response. The next day another eviction notice (Each one I have got charged me $40) Finally I call them 10-12 times in a row and someone answers and I tell them the story and their response "NOT MY PROBLEM" ---what the heck? My bank called Premier Property mangement to confirm and explain that the charge was indeed reversed by them, maybe it was some sort of error they didn't want to admit to but they reversed it. the manager said to me "If you cant pay your rent then you need to find another place to stay! Very Upset I said to her I said, I have the bank statement to prove that I paid on time and I have the bank manager willing to testify in court saying it was there fault and her response was "You can't afford to go to court over this" I felt very upset, but this was true, what could I do? I can tell everyone I know what happened. When it was all said and done Late fees and eviction notices cost almost $200 and I paid it and can't wait till my lease is up. read more

Reviewing this specific Branch of Premiere Property Management is simple. Their tactics for bullying tenant's is lazy at best. This is a company that "allegedly" feeds off people who do not know their rights or do not know their rites as tenants. Unfortunately for Premiere we do. Beware of this company. Do your homework! They make many mistakes. And will sometimes admit so. Their check in and check out is not done with the presents of the tenants. Take pictures and video of everything. Literary! You can never have to much evidence to protect yourself. They will try and play the sneaky game of this was done or this wasn't done. Make sure and document everything. Most people will not do this and they know this. If you must go through this company cover yourself. We are ending our business with them soon. On principal we will not give one inch. We have always paid on time. We have always met all of our inspection obligations. Still they try and use elementary tactics against us. Maintenance requests have not been made yet promised. Safety issues as well. We moved into this particular home just over three years ago. This home is in much better shape now than when we moved in. Our pictures and video clearly show this. We took pride in our rental home. We always kept it in excellent condition. The home wasn't even painted when we moved in. Nail holes. Poor patching etc. Most of the staff is very rude. After you sign a lease of course. They do not return phone calls nor emails. We have been landlords our self's. We know the rules and the law. We know Shane and his minions at premiere read these reviews. We are more than prepared for a legal battle. Our goal is to retrieve our legal right to our full security deposit. And most importantly, have it on public record of Premiers tactics for everyone to see and have recourse for president met by the court to protect unknowingly tenants walking into the so-called hornet's nest. Our facts and credibility are excellent. This is what matters in the legal system. We asked for a fair shake and they broke their promise. We do not bluff. read more

Premier Property management should have to tell my children that they have to move out of the neighborhood they know & love! Hold my sons as they cry & beg to stay.... Such greedy jerks! They are not only forcing us to move, without explanation, but they waited until school started to do it! They knew we have children. They are such vindictive people! These houses are horrible, thrown together in days....they may look nice but the construction is horrible! The door handles, towel rack, etc just fell off the wall... When we asked for repair, they never came.... Charged us for repair....who knew you could be charged repair in a rental? When we were persistent about getting some repairs fixed....we get asked to leave. The rent was raised, listed on Craigslist as this dreamy home with AC. There is no AC. This is nobody's dream home except to our children.... Absolutely horrible people to work with! They have zero regard for anyone except themselves. I've never ever experienced a company so greedy, dishonest, and unprofessional. They are literally out to ruin your lives, rob you of every penny & then have the audacity to tape a note to your door telling you that you owe more money. Keep every receipt! Don't ever rent from them! Trust me, they will ruin your lives! We are moving!! They told us to move, we are moving....but when a potential landlord called for a reference they lied & said we were being evicted!!! Don't you disgusting people see that you've already ruined our lives...now you are trying to make it so we can't rent a new place! We have children!!! You should be ashamed! The team at Premier Property Management has been great to work with, including but not limited to our Property Manager, Trevor Ekovich, and Mike Depaola. We reside in the St. Louis, Missouri area and purchased a condo in Naples, which needed considerable rehab. Mike met my husband at the property on short notice to discuss what he and Premier could do for us. Feeling confident with the information Mike gave, my husband drove back to St. Louis the following day. True to his word, Mike arranged for a contractor to take care of the rehab and worked with the contractor all the way through the rehab to get things done. Even through a few unforeseen problems with the property, he made sure things were handled property by the contractors. We received photos and updates as the rehab progressed and Trevor stepped in to market the property. It didn't take long at all, (not even sure if it was 2 months) when Trevor contacted us to let us know the property was rented. Since then, Trevor has been in constant contact for anything associated with the property and has been very pleasant and easy to work with. It seems that he is also very responsive to our tenant, which is great, because of course, we'd like to keep the tenant in the property. All in all, we are very happy with our choice to go with Premier Property Management. We feel that our interests here in St. Louis - so many miles away - are being looked after. I moved from out of town so that in-itself can be very stressful, the staff at Premier was extremely helpful through the entire ordeal including sending me pictures of the rental since I could not see it in person. They have never been anything but polite to me when I call the office. I was nervous reading some of the reviews when it came time to move since there are horror stories about people not receiving their deposits back and I did call into the office and spoke with a staff member regarding my concerns, they informed me that I would receive a move out packet and suggested I use their carpet cleaner since they guarantee their work which I did and they were really nice and reasonable. I moved and held my breath essentially but when I received my deposit statement was very surprised to find I had received my ENTIRE deposit back except for a final utility bill that was owed and a letter enclosed thanking me for leaving the property in such great condition. The letter even stated that if I had paid the utility bill they held back to provide a receipt and they would gladly refund that as well. I have never had a bad experience with Premier, I also think that people today have unreal expectations, you can't cause damage and expect not to be held liable, so I think the moral of the story is to follow your lease and take care of the property since lets be honest its not actually your house. What can I say about Dennis Lindberg at Premier Property Group on Meadows Rd in Lake Oswego. I clicked on the contact agent about a house I was interested in, and I had Dennis and 10 other Realtor's calling me. Dennis asked me if there was anything he could do for me. I said I was ok. A few days later Dennis is calling me again, I thought man this guy doesn't give up. He asked again if he could do anything for me and asked for my address to send me a card. I thought yah right, I'm not getting a card from him. it was just a way for him to get me to set up a time with him. well we started talking about what I wanted and liked, his compassion came through the phone. That was the greatest thing I ever did was to talk to Dennis LIndberg. He has so much compassion on your needs and wants. He wanted me to find the perfect house, not just a house. He never pressured me on buying a home, and when I had questions about a house, he was on it and found out the answer. I never had to wait a day or two. If I wanted to see a house he would set it up that day. I know he was busy with other clients but Dennis made me feel like I was his only client, and he was there for me on anything I needed. He never had a problem showing me a house 2 or 3 times, he has so much patients. I throw my hands up to Dennis Lindberg on such a wonderful job he does. He is the best. I am posting this review to let people out there know that I have nothing but great things to say about Premier Property Management. Your going to find good and bad reviews about anything you research on the Internet, but just remember, some people and not very understanding and very impatient, and are just not happy unless they are compalining about something. I signed a 1 yrs lease with Premier about 8 1/2 years ago and decided to keep on renting from them because of the great service and attention I got from them during the first year. If I had an issue with the place I was renting they were always there promptly to take care of it. They recently hired someone to come out and take care of the birds that had nested in the ventilation hose coming from my laundry room. They were prompt with their response and I never saw a bill from them. This kind of thing has happened several times in the last 8+ years and they were always prompt and courteous to me. I had nothing but professional service from Premier for the last 8 1/2 yrs and i would definately recommend them to anyone looking to rent or buy a home. read more

I am not sure where some of these other comments are going from, but Premier has been one of the easiest and most responsive property management companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I have been renting a home from them in Washougal for about a year and have had nothing but great experiences with them. When we initially moved in, we had an issue with the hot water. I called Premier and they had someone out at the office within an hour and a half of calling and had the issue fixed. At another point I wanted to start using the automated sprinkler system the home had installed but could not figure it out. I gave Linda a call at Premier (who is awesome by the way) and they had the gentleman who installed the system originally out at our house to walk us through it by the end of the day. I am not sure what else you can ask for from a property management company. They also make paying rent extremely easy with a couple clicks of a button online. I would highly recommend Premier to anyone who is looking to rent. read more

I was a tenant with Premier and was very pleased with them. When we moved in there were several issues at our house one of which being mold. This was at no fault to anyone since it was up in the attic which is not normally part of a move out inspection from a previous tenant. The mold was due to a loose exhaust vent from a bathroom fan which caused venting in to the attic creating moisture. They responded right away to remedy the issue and notified the owner of the house. There were other minor repairs that needed to be done and those were taken care of in a timely manner as well. Before our lease was up we had a family members house become available. Linda was very willing to work with us to find another tenant to move in to the house right away. There was a smooth transition and no lag in rent income for the owner. We left the house free of needing repairs and clean. We were not penalized for breaking the lease since there was no loss to the owner or Premier. I would recommend them for both owners and tenants. read more

My experience is with a commercial lease. Terrible communication. Took days and sometimes weeks for them to return calls. The building had water leaks, mold and mice. They stopped the leaks (one after another)... but not the mold or mice. I tried for over a month to renew my lease (bad building and leasing company... but AMAZING location), but they NEVER returned my calls. Guess they didn't need my business.... I have since then warned my friends not to rent from them. One friend tried (again... great location). She made an appointment to tour the location. She arrived at the agreed upon time for the walk-thru... but the leasing agent didn't. When she did finally see the spot she let them know she was interested ... but after many UN returned phone calls from them, she ended up giving up on the spot. That suite is still unrented... and has been empty for years. Guess they aren't interested in leasing the space. Oh well...... read more

I have been using Premier Property to manage my rental property for six years, and they have been fantastic. They were very prompt at screening renters and were willing to accept longer term leases. When our first tenants moved out, they found new tenants for my property the same day! I did not miss one day of rental income! When I decided to sell my property, Linda Hougan was instrumental in setting my up with contractors who did an excellent job in a very short amount of time. In less than three weeks, we replaced flooring, all counter tops, carpet, all lighting, tiled the bathrooms and painted all the cabinitry. The work was done quickly, at budget and with quality. Premier was quick at responding to my renters when they requested maintenance, very fair with the expenses and really went above and beyond the call of duty when I decided to sell--Thank you Premier Property Management! read more

We've had nothing but good experiences with Premier! Our rental application process was smooth and they were courteous all along the way. During our time here, they've repaired everything we've asked them to, and even done great remodels. After reading the negative reviews here, I wonder if most negative experiences are the result of "garbage in, garbage out." If you read your lease agreement, understand it, and be kind to the people who work here, you'll have a great experience. If you put "garbage in" and don't understand your lease, or you act nasty to the people who are leasing you a place to live, you'll have a bad time no matter where you go. Be responsible and communicative (e.g. treat people like humans) and you'll love working with Premier! read more

Great company to work with. In the 2 years I rented with Premier I never came across any issue that they didn't fix. Linda in maintenance was always quick when it came to responding to my requests and communicating when things were getting done. The employees have always been very kind and professional and I honestly can't say a bad thing about the company. I was recently just mailed back my deposit and can't complain. A word of advice for anyone looking to rent a property with any management company, you are living in someone else's home, so making sure you are treating the property well and not demolishing it and returning it in the condition it was given to you will help you in getting your deposit back. read more

I have awesome credit, great income and a perfect rental history. I just got a call from a Premiere agent that told me my deposit would be higher because of my negative rental history and lack of credit. Are you F----- kidding me!?!? My responsible history is something I'm SO proud of and have worked hard for, and this idiot is telling me I'm wrong when I try to explain there's some kind of mistake!! She said Experian's response was "NA." Hmmmm.... Maybe because I have a freeze on my credit, but this witch is not willing to look into further. Whatever!!!!! I really think PPM does an amazing job. Their manager was at our Senior Estates where we were renting from a great company - KEY. We needed to move for health reasons. He led us to another city - 12 miles away and courteously showed us the perfect place for two seniors...much closer to our doctors and son. Then...because my wife says I have Parts-heimers...:):) he helped us get all the paperwork filled out. When I read a negative comment I can only wonder if the writer didn't pay their rent or maybe was baptized in Lemon Juice. I will always recommend Premier. Parts-heimer Ade. read more

My husband and I have been renting from Premier for about 3 years now. We recently moved from one house into another both managed by Premier and they made this a seamless experience. When moving out they had kept meticulous documentation of the place before, during, and after so to make sure we were not charged for any damage that occurred before our occupancy. They sent out a representative from their office every year to walk- thru the property with me, and when I moved out, Linda worked with me to make sure the owners were fair in their return of my deposit. After moving from that location, Linda found me an office space to rent for my business. They've been great to rent from, and I remain a happy customer! read more
