We both had the 60 minute "Relax" massage with scalp add on and it was one of the BEST massage experiences I've ever had! My massage therapist was Jordan. I've never had a male massage therapist before so I was pretty nervous about it. But Jordan was extremely professional and did a great job of being respectful and putting me at ease. We talked about my preferences before he got started and he did an amazing job with the exact right amount of pressure and time focusing on problem areas. He had such a calming, peaceful presence and wonderful touch as well - truly was the most relaxing experience I've ever had! All of their treatments include heated stone work which was just heavenly. And the scalp add on was definitely something I'd get again - as you'd imagine, it's a more focused massage and included some lovely aromatherapy. My DIL's massage therapist was Harmonie and she was SO happy with her experience as well. This was my DIL's first massage so she was also nervous lol. Harmonie was super friendly, bubbly, and welcoming and immediately made my DIL feel at ease. She loved it and we'll definitely be back for another girls day out. The space is small with sleek minimalist spa vibes. And while they don't have any room for saunas or baths or anything like that they do have a nice boutique area with spa products and other items like locally-made jewelry. I got some really cute earrings and some fantastic soaps and lotions which I've been loving! Booking online via their website was very easy. Prices are what you'd expect for the level of service and the quality is totally justified. Like most spas, they have a cancellation policy of 24 hour or more notice to cancel - if less than 24 hours they charge 50% of your scheduled service but that's pretty standard for most places. They're located in a small shopping center with a few parking spots out front and plenty of free street parking in the surrounding area. There are some stairs required to get up into the spa area and I didn't see any elevator options so there may be handicap access issues. That doesn't work for me since weekends are always busy and I get out of work at 5. How inconvenient (not to mention the price that I seriously couldn't afford to keep up paying). Hence why I revisited yelp and found Jen! She is amazing! Simply the best. She blew my experience with Cherry Lash Lounge out of the water. I was skeptical about going to someone who worked from their home, but her professionalism and easy going nature made my worries melt away. Her spa is in her home and the ambience is so relaxing and clean. She also has two doggies which made my experience that much better because I love dogs, and you can always trust a person who loves animals...just saying. I had gone too long between fills since I had been traveling quite a bit, and she meticulously removed my old set and diligently applied my new one; and for a fraction of a price!! We went over in detail the look, length and thickness that I wanted and she totally nailed it. I have received so many compliments at work and from friends. It's been almost a week since my application and she has already texted to ask me how they are holding up! I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and really shows you someone who takes pride in their work. And not to mention they really are holding up beautifully. Extremely disappointing experience, especially regarding how management handled a gift-card issue…read more I purchased a Christmas promotion from Spavia Sandy in December 2019, under the previous owner: buy three gift cards of equal value and receive a fourth of the same value free. At the time, I was explicitly told that Spavia gift cards did not expire. I still have the original cards. One had no expiration date. The other had 12/31/19 printed on it, which the employee physically crossed out while telling me the cards did not expire. Since I purchased it in December, I specifically asked about the date and was assured it was not an issue. The card I gave my mother was never used because she passed away suddenly before she had the opportunity to use it. I later found it while cleaning out her home and brought it with me to my appointment along with my own card. First, I want to emphasize that the massage itself was excellent. Donovan was fantastic. He was professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful with my pain. I was so impressed that I planned to book three more appointments with him. He deserves recognition for his service. Unfortunately, checkout completely ruined the experience. The receptionist told me one card would work but that she needed to contact the new owner about the other. The owner was contacted via FaceTime, given a brief explanation, and immediately said the promotional card would not be accepted. Then, incredibly, the receptionist told the owner that I was refusing to pay. I never refused to pay. I was trying to resolve a legitimate question about a gift card I had been explicitly told did not expire. I was even attempting to find Spavia's corporate contact information so I could clarify whether the previous owner's representation was still honored. Instead, the owner instructed the receptionist to call the police. Four officers ultimately arrived. I explained the situation and repeatedly stated that I was not refusing to pay. Spavia already had my credit card information, and I ultimately told the receptionist to charge the remaining balance to my card. I simply asked that no gratuity be added because I was extremely uncomfortable with how the situation had been handled. I was also told that under the current owner's policies, promotional gift cards expire after a maximum of three months. That may be the current policy, but it was not the policy under which I purchased these cards in 2019. I was never informed that previously purchased cards would suddenly be subject to a different expiration policy after the ownership change. One officer still had the disputed gift card and told me Spavia wanted to tear it up. Thankfully, that did not happen. I retained the card because it is evidence of what I purchased and what I was told. The ordeal added roughly 30-45 minutes of unnecessary stress to what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. It also caused me to miss another appointment and incur a missed-appointment fee. There were many reasonable ways this could have been handled. Spavia could simply have charged my card while investigating the circumstances surrounding the original purchase. Instead, a confusing gift-card issue was escalated to the police as though I were refusing to pay -- when I was not. Donovan: 5 stars. Management's handling of this situation: completely unacceptable. I hope the current ownership reviews how situations like this are handled. Calling four police officers over a customer attempting to resolve a legitimate gift-card issue, while misrepresenting that customer as refusing to pay, was an extraordinarily poor customer-service experience. I will not be returning to this location, despite the fact that I would have happily continued seeing Donovan.

She told me to go to Skintherapy and I booked a consultation the same day. It has been almost a year since I decided to go to Jil at Skintherapy and I have never regretted the decision once. I used to cry myself to sleep at night because my acne was so bad. Now, I leave my house without makeup and feel a hundred times more confident and beautiful. I haven't had an actual, big, red, "Hi! I'm right here!", real-deal pimple in months, which is completely baffling to me considering I used to have an army of little red friends living on my face constantly. I feel so lucky to have been referred to Skintherapy because it has transformed my life immensely in so many ways. The lovely ladies at Skintherapy are so sweet and caring, and will really stop at nothing to get you clear. As long as you comply and follow the regimen they give you based on your skin type, you will not have problems.
