The service here is horrible. I started the classes over a year ago and since then I've only been able to get 4 drive times. I have been calling every day and no answer. Every time I try to leave a message the automated voice message says that it's full and cannot take anymore messages. I tried today to go at 3 and they were closed. They are supposed to be open till 4. They are very unreliable. I start college soon and i need to be able to drive to and from the college. I'm going to have to go to a different school and pay a fee of $250 just because of how horrible the customer service is. read more

Horrible customer service. They never answer their phone. They are extremely unclear on what needs to be done to actually get a teen their license. My daughter was told after the class time that her parents needed to teach her to drive and their 7 hours was just extra driving time on top of the 50 we needed to do with. Whenever we would go to book time to get her in for instructor driving, no times were available. Finally we ended up just taking her to the mvd to do her driving test there. Only to find out she needed some paper from premier. She had passed the test at the mvd already. No one answered the phone so I ended up driving to the Montaño location only to find out premier wanted to do their own driving test. That was a Wednesday. The gal told me she would call me back that day. No call. I tried calling. Again no answer. I ended up driving back on Thursday morning only to find the only time she could do the test was Sunday. We came back on Sunday and the instructor just filled out the paper work and gave it to us. But apparently that couldn't have been done on Wednesday??? Now I'm at the mvd Monday afternoon and premier hasn't even been bothered to put the info into the system so she can get her license. The lack of communication is ridiculous. I definitely do NOT recommend premier and will not be taking any of my other kids there for driving "school". read more

The actual program my son attended wasn't bad. He seemed to learn things and can repeat them to me now, 7 months later. Scheduling drive time is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I have reached out multiple times and only received a response once for a day that my son can not do and he can't do 7:30 p.m. - I have an 8yo that is in bed by 8:30! He still has 4 driving hours to do with them and I refuse to pay additional because they can't get their act together and schedule times. I asked when they post the driving schedules and was never told. At this rate, he won't get his license until he is 18. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! or $$$$$! read more

Hello, we left a message last week and tried emailing you at the address on your site. We haven't received a call and the email bounced back as undeliverable. Today we tried calling again and the mailbox is full and can't accept messages. We paid for lessons that we are unable to access because the site doesn't have any availability. We've tried scheduling on the 1st of the month. It's been two+ months that we cannot get an appointment. Can someone message us? I refuse to give this rev any stars. it's the worst driving school in Albuquerque. my daughter finished her class back in June and we have not been able to schedule any driving hours for her. its been 7 months and she has 3 hours of drive time. they don't answer the phone they take days to answer emails and even if you're lucky enough to get a lesson they don't show up. save yourself the headache and frustration and go somewhere else. It's been almost an entire year since I've taken the original class, and no license. Why? Because scheduling and communication is TERRIBLE. I've wasted SO much time spam calling and emailing. Drive times are rarely posted, and when they are it's so few that the hundreds of students they have still waiting to get drive times have to scramble to get the five drive times posted once a month... and sometimes none are posted at all. If there are some available, they'll be put on private, which means you can't see them on the website and will have to contact the office to schedule... the Dane office that never answers! Send emails by the dozen and spam call all you'd like and you'll either be met with a "ignore call" beep or a voicemail prompt that will take them months to get back to (if ever). If you are planning on paying over $300 for your kid to get their license, definitely look somewhere else unless your eager to waste lord of time, receive zero communication, want to spend entire afternoons spam calling/emailing, or simply want to get with a driving school that will take several decades to contact, much less schedule and finish. read more

Please do not make the same mistake my son did and give this company any of your hard earned money. They will easily take your check, which you cannot get back, and you will not be able to schedule any driving time - it is all a big scam - they should be out of business. It is very sad because they are preying on young kid's vulnerability. You are better off doing literally anything else including waiting until you are 18 because it will take at least that long. And after reading the other reviews here, that might be what they expect. read more

They don't make drive times available. They expect you to teach your child mostly all on your own, and they did not provide a refund over two years of not providing services. I had to go through a formal transfer to another driving school. Terrible. Do not put your child through it. They will not learn to drive. read more

My daughter signed up for Zoom classes and drive time two years ago. She still doesn't know how to drive. It was during covid, so we did the online Zoom class, and that was fine. She did one hour of face to face driving, which was okay. However, every time we tried to schedule drive time, we couldn't get any. Every time we tried to get up at 5am on the one day a month they dropped the drive times, they either didn't have any open, or when we did sign up, they would cancel. We had some grace as we knew things were difficult with COVID, but over time, the owner, Adrienne Baird, was extremely rude when we tried to discuss our concerns with her. So, we have had to pay another $400 to another driving school to get our daughter drive times. Ms. Baird has time to write 5 paragraph rude emails to us, but no time to schedule drive times or to refund our money. read more

My daughter was in class in December and have only had 1 drive time since than. They NEVER have drive times available and never get back to you. Worst communication of any business we've dealt with ever. Customer service is absent..NOBODY answers phones. When you do have a class they teach fear tactics towards police officers. "Just crack window, don't have to answer quertions,etc,etc" HORRIBLE experience for myself and our 2 young drivers.Spend your money elsewhere. They DO NOT instruct well at all. 3 right turns and that's it for final driving test. (9mins I timed it). GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more

When I called the school a man answered he did not even recognize the school and when I asked to schedule my kid for a road test he said you just walk in. Don't do it. It's been a nightmare getting drive times. First, the system wasn't working and now every time my son and I try to get him a drive time, there are none available. It's been 5 weeks of checking. Paid in full, but don't get the product offered. read more

Lesson learned: don't base your review on the offhand commentary of your teenager. She's a teenager. She isn't happy about anything that has anything to do with responsibility, even if said responsibility is the awesome opportunity to grasp vehicular freedom by the reigns. She's relatively unhappy about everything, save her Facebook profile and new beauty products. And I'll be straight-up, if I could have written a review of my driving class and instruction in high school, I would've been pissy, too. That's just how teenagers roll. Premier School of Driving was the right choice for us and I absolutely recommend them for any parent suffering the hellish reality of unleashing their pimpled pupil upon the automotive masses. My initial review was really flawed; they offer driving instruction alongside classes, and the mentors are very, very good. We were given a full report of our kid's driving issues following every ride, and in the end they got her ready for the road. I absolutely cannot fathom the heart failure those people endure each and every day, sitting alongside kids who try to navigate busy streets, but they manage to do a great job. I've also been present during the classroom instruction, and I don't think my daughter's report was accurate. She is, of course, in her teens; any act of sitting around and learning is a one-star report. But these guys do a solid job, and today I bask contented, knowing that my kid got her drivers license and has allowed me to kick back and write this review while she terrorizes the general public and rarely, if ever, checks her blind spots. You've been warned. Oh, and they really don't practice driving in reverse. I'm her tutor for that. One star removed. read more

Love this driving school. My two oldest kids took a state Approved Home based course and went to Premier for some behind the wheel lessons, road test, and computerized exam. They were wonderful at scheduling drive times and getting my kids the needed state document. Highly recommend them! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I rarely ever give online reviews of products or services. I am doing so only because I have been astounded at how terrible the service is and feel obligated to warn others not to waste their money here. Go ahead and try to register your student for driving hours behind the wheel. Go ahead and try. A small handful of hours are posted and they are all gone literally within minutes because they register a large numbers of students and provide very few hours for behind the wheel. These few hours are posted only once a month so if you miss the 5 minute window to sign up, you have to wait another month. I have given up trying to get the drive hours that we paid for. In addition to this, I have attempted to communicate with Premier through phone and email. No one has ever answered the office phone no matter what time of day you call and no one has ever responded to any of my emails. In conclusion, I am uncertain whether this business intends to scam their customers or if they are simply incompetent at running a business. read more

If I could have gave no stars it wouldn't have been good enough! After over a year of paying them for the class and them not having a schedule up for my daughter to take her road test. She was finally able to take it this Sat. She came to the car and told me she needed 42.80 to take the test. I was livid but I should have went in with her because the instructor did not give her a receipt. The instructor took her out for less than ten minutes came to the car and then told me my daughter was disrespectful to him. I found that hard to believe and I told him so. I told him well then I would like my money back if she is not going to pass and that he should have never collected that in the first place. He said " oh no I'm going to pass her she is just going to have a low score so you don't need your money back." He also he was counting on me to make sure that she pays attention. Okay who's the instructor here and if she were such a terrible driver why would you pass her? I left an email because when we went to the MVD to get her license they told us she needed a DUI certificate, if you go back down there they will give it to you. I was then told by the owner that it was not required for her to have that if my daughter had her permit prior to 18. But that she could!d be mistaken and if that's the case then she would need to take that at UNM. UNM wants 25.00 now to take this course and not one time was she ever to!d this. Also the email states Pat the instructor never called her to tell her he collected a fee for the test. Stay away! They refuse to listen and not their instructor has line his pockets for his benefit. We are seeking outside advice to remedy the situation. Have all paperwork to back this up. Totally infuriated at the unknowledgable people that they have working for them. read more
