Called Adam for a pigeon problem festering around my solar panels. I had called every exterminator and pest company in the area but nobody dealt with pigeons. One company even suggested I shoot them with a BB gun, nice. Adam has a propriety system of metal pvc coated steel with a non drilling hook system that attaches to your panel and roof tile, pure genius. The pigeons eventually find another place to roost since they now cannot get under your panels. So many homes around me have this issue and it is so irritating. Adam took the time to educate me on pigeon psychology and roosting habits. Solar panels are basically beacons for pigeons. If they cannot get under the panels then they will move on to a place they can nest and feel safe. Its been about a week now and my pigeons have decreased 80 percent. The last of them will move on because I have observed them in frustration to get under the panels just fly away. I am so happy the mess and noise from them in the early am is gone. Owning solar panels requires necessary maintenance to keep them running efficiently and that includes cleaning. Premier Solar Cleaning specializes in cleaning dirty panels and bird abatement. That's virtually unheard of - and yet well deserved, as Adam is a genuinely nice guy and diligent worker who cares about providing the best service possible for his clients. With so many other positive reviews, it can be hard to write something unique, so let me start off by saying: this review is actually about a service which was NOT performed. I "found" Adam after being referred from another solar cleaning company which I'd used in the past. They were booked up, and Adam is much closer to me, so the referral was made. After speaking with Adam's wife - who spent a LOT of time on the phone with me, answering all my questions - we set an appointment, and Adam actually arrived about an hour early to see about helping me deal with a bird roosting issue. The first thing I noticed when he arrived was the van he was driving. You'd expect that for a solar panel cleaning company, they'd be driving a pickup or unmarked white van, etc. But Adam had clearly invested a lot into the design of the van, which was well marked with the company's logos and services. Just from a personal perspective, I have a lot of respect for someone who invests in their company and tries to do things "right." It was a good first impression! Anyway, after spending nearly an hour checking my roof, rafters, and etc., Adam determined that most cheaper methods - owls, spikes, gels, etc. - would not solve my problem. To be clear, he could have gone ahead and performed one of the services - I was ready to buy. But he did not want to take my money for a service he didn't believe would solve the problem. He spent time explaining to me why the basic alternatives wouldn't work, which was essentially because I have a large roof and had already taken some anti-roosting measures, which forced the birds to nest in multiple spread out locations, rather than congregating close together, so any further anti-roosting measures would have to cover the whole roof. After discussing some other alternatives, I ultimately decided (with his recommendations) that "doing nothing" made the most sense for the time being. The bottom line is that Adam made a trip out to Hemet, spent an hour at my property, and even helped me remove two dormant birds nests, yet neither charged nor tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. He came out to earn my business on the basis of integrity and good service - and earn my business he did, as I will absolutely be using Premier Solar Cleaning for my solar panel cleanings in the future! ** UPDATE ** One day after writing this review, I received a box of cookies in the mail, thanking me for my business (see photos). The cookies appear to be home made, with the Premier Solar logo on them. I really think that is one of the coolest things ever, and completely reinforces my point above about someone who is truly trying to do things right and build a successful company. Note that "one day" is significant because it means it was mailed before the review was posted - and the cookies were not cheap to mail, also significant if you note in the review above I wasn't charged for this particular visit, so it was all about building relationships! read more
