Open for business at 8a. The guy opening the business was super!! Unfortunately for a business that does window tinting, there's no one there that does the install. The morning guy kept apologizing and coming up with new stories why the guy wasn't there. All BS I'm sure. I waited 3 hours for a "replacement" installer. Then another 2 for my car to be done. Left at 1pm and I was the first car of the day. Install looked okay, time will tell. I'm pretty sure at one point the owner cruised by for a minute. Shows no concern for his business, customers or putting his employee in the position of having to do "song and dance"!!! Adding to what was a 2 star review. Bubbles in tint!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I had an appointment this morning to get my windows tinted. When I arrived, the young friendly receptionist advised me that she did not know where the owner/installer was. He never came. After numerous attempts by the receptionist, the owner finally answered his phone. First he was in the hospital, then he was moving into a motel 6. So unprofessional. I was told over and over he was on his way and that he was two minutes out. I was dumb and kept waiting. He never showed, I wasted half my day. This place is an absolute joke. Look like new staff is not a good as when eloy was there. Tint does not match. It should have been a red flag when the individual told me prior to repair that there is a potential for a crack and it will not be his fault for cracking my windshield. I took my car and left. And she looks great from the back side...ok now that I shared wayyyyyy to much info! Anyways back to Premier. I drove in not really knowing what kind of tint would look best. Eloy met me and was very personable. He discussed all the options. Its pretty easy to tell when someone is informing you or selling you. Eloy was an informer. He took the time to explain all the differences. I wanted Beyonce done right so I trusted Eloy. He took the car for a few hours and had one of his guys drive me home. This place might be OK if you're just looking for tinted windows. They suck at replacing a window regulator. They promised to deliver my vehicle when repairs were completed; they managed to lose my keys but didn't bother to call me. I showed up the next day then had to find a ride and my spare keys. Next-the replacement regulator was defective; they didn't verify it's operation. I was told the replacement part would be at the shop, at an appointed time; they went to pick up the replacement after I arrived. It's been a comical "two week adventure". Find someone else to do anything more serious than window tinting. Shame on me for trusting them. read more

I used to love this place over the years I have brought over a dozen cars to them and the work for the most part was pretty good. My issue is price they are charging too much for basic tint they used to reward loyal customers with a decent discount but now it's a couple bucks off so the loyalty is over if I'm paying over price prices I'll take the next two cars I have in need of tint someplace else closer to home. read more

I took it back to them to see what we could do about the window and they asked if I had the warranty card, I told them the warranty card got damaged but I do have the receipt. I was told even if I brought them the damaged paperwork that they couldn't even read they would fix it for free, But since I only had the receipt it was going to cost my $160 to replace. Clearly this place dose not stand behind their work. I understand they need for a warranty card but if it unreadable why does it matter if I have it or not! Stay away!!! Very poor workmanship. I read the reviews and went in to check it out. Shop looked clean and the price I was quoted was reasonable. But the end result was just bad. There were so many bubbles left. They had redo some of the windows. They told me the remaining bubbles would go away, but 4 days later, they are still there. I went in to get it taken care of, but they were too busy, so now they scheduled me for an appointment. Going back tomorrow to see if they will fix, but I'm. It very confident. Good thing I used my credit card. If it doesn't come out good I'm filing a claim with my card company. Stay away get your windows done somewhere else!!! read more

I was pleasantly surprised with the service and work done. This is a small shop in a little industrial complex across from the discount movie theater. Small sign said "Window Tinting" off Los Angeles avenue which caught my eye so I pulled in. Eloy greeted me right away. Friendly and informative. He was able to get started right away. Time: Took less than an hour for my driver and passenger front windows of my Jeep. Warranty: Life time on the vehicle - as long as I hold on to my receipt. I was told that wont fade, split, crack or bubble. Price: Really reasonable compared to other local shops I received quotes from. Work: He told me it would be an hour and it was. Completely cleaned up after himself and put everything back exactly the way it was. Advised me not to roll down the windows for at least 24 hours. He also matched the tint to my existing factory work on rear windows. Looks really good. I will recommend this place to others... read more

Eloy you are the man! A few days ago a rock smacked right into my windshield on my morning commute. Later found out it had a chip and I was too busy at work to have someone fill it with resin so I let it go until my next day off. Big mistake. In no time the thing spread into what looked like a giant spiderweb. I needed a replacement. I called around town and everything was so expensive and they wanted to take the whole day to fix it. Finally I decided to check Yelp and that is where I found Premier. I drove right in without an appointment. Met a guy named Eloy he was super chill and was more than willing to negotiate when I told him I wanted to pay in cash. Less than $200 bucks and one hour later my truck looks amazing. Plus my new windshield has a warranty as long as I own the truck. I cannot recommend this place enough. Mom and pop shops are the best. Suck on that Safelite! read more

Bad communication. My car was there all day, for 2 windows. They messed up the driver-side window tint, and hoped we wouldn't notice. When we did, they redid the tint in 5 minutes and the guy that did it took the blame and threw $20 into my car. Very unprofessional. Do not come here..... I had an appointment at 8am, and when I arrived no one was there. The door was locked and stalls were closed. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and waited 10 mins. Still no one, so I called them. The owner answered and I told him I had an appointment at 8am and he proceeded to tell me I needed to reschedule that he had something to do. I explained to him, that today was my day off and I had made this appointment a week ago. I told him I was not rescheduling my appointment, that if he had something to do, he should've called his customer that made an appointment in advance. (He seemed to have no clue that I had an appointment) So he opened the door for me, and he told me my car would be ready at 2pm. At 1ish I received a call, from the lady who works inside and she said that there is a situation and my car isn't gonna be ready til 4:30-5. So at 2pm, I was on my way back from lunch and decided to drive by to see if they were working on my car. The shop looked closed and my car was no where to be found. At 4:45pm, I went to pick it up, because they close at 5pm. I get there and my car is in the stall, with 3 people standing behind it talking. There is no tint on it, they were just starting the back window. They finally said my car was done at 5:30. I obviously walked around my car before I went to pay for it.... When I was paying I complained to the lady, and I honestly feel bad for her. It's not her fault. It's the owners fault. I have used premier for my last 6 vehicles. I Called around for pricing and Fidel was willing to price match the competition. I specifically asked for 3M film, and was reassured that was fine. I made an appointment for Saturday. He arrived at my home about 10 minutes late, oh well. I set up a ez-up for shade, and provided a electrical cord and water to drink. I once again verified that he was using 3M film, and he said yes. He proceeded to start the tint job, and so I went inside. I came out about 3/4 way done and happen to see his boxes of tint sitting on the floor. It was Excel IRP 45 from American Standard Window Films. I questioned Fidel about this. He originally ignored my question, so I asked again. He said that he put the two 3M rolls in the ASWF boxes. I let him finish and paid him. He wrote on my invoice 3M, and told me he would send my Warranty card for 3M. I asked to see the 3M film in his truck, because 3M prints their logo on the film and has to be cleaned with rubbing Alcohol. He said that 3M stopped printing On the film because installers complained. Don't get me wrong, I'm no expert in the industry. Things can change. But I can smell bullsh*t. I don't know anything about ASWF, and it could be a great product, but it's not what I asked for specifically. Unfortunately Premier has lost a customer, and I want others to be aware of my experience. Also still haven't gotten my warranty card, even after multiple texts and being ghosted. read more

Took my brand new car here to get the windows tinted, after checking my windows the first time they did have bubbles but they told me that it's normal & the moisture would go away. After a full week the bubbles had not gone away but have become worse & the top of the windows were jagged & the back door window was already peeling off. Came back a second time for them to fix it, when I came to pick my car up the lock on my door was broken, so they then had to fix it. I made sure to ask about a couple of bubbles that were there would go away & they did, but my side window has bubbles still. I noticed that my window when driving no matter the speed sounds as if I have my window rolled down a little bit, which in fact it isn't. Now I'm here for the third time at 8:15AM which they say that they open at 8AM and no one is here. Very unsatisfied and disappointed this how people run a business. read more

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a window tinting shop. The owner is careless and yells at his employees and customers. I dropped of my classic car per my appointment at 9am on a Sat morning. No phone call till 3pm staring it wouldn't be done they needed anoher day. I said ok no problem go call on sunday and the owner says I have to charge u more I am taking your rear window out. I never consented to this per our agreement contract for tinting my windows. The owner was extremely rude and said I will take care of this and eat the extra cost. I said you should because we had an agreement to tint the windows and never agreed to removong the window. To make a long story short he needed the car till Monday. I show up Monday afternoon my rear window is scratched badly and he said the windows were scratched. I refused to pay until he fixed the issue. I came back next day it looks like he did a terrible job buffing out the scratches and a very special sticker was ruined on the back window that had very sentimental value as my friend that built the car put on the window before he passed away. I went to pick up the car on Tuesday there was a mess all over the inside rear window "silicone" uncleaned and smeared all over the inside. My vinyl top ruined and stained. My window had some type of overspray which I cannot seem to remove. The owner denies everything and blames me. Dont bring your car here the owner is a snake and does extremely poor business. I have to start off by saying that these guys are very nice people during my interactions with them. I moved to Simi about a year and a half ago, since then I have pretty much been staying local for my needs as the shop owners around here are typically great people. I had my car tinted all around, and it looked pretty good from afar. However, there were bubbles everywhere, many more than I'm used to with previous tint jobs. They assured me the bubbles would go away after a 6-8 days or so or they would replace the tint with their "Lifetime Warranty" guarantee if they didn't. After 8 days, I called to make an appointment to get the tint redone as it had bubbles everywhere still. I took it in and they told me that the Windows weren't cleaned enough and I was seeing dirt between the tint and glass. So I dropped my car off to have them replace the tint. 3 hours later I get to pick my car up and now I'm excited. The same issue occurred again and the bubbles would not go away after over a week. Now when I look closely I can see the dirt inside the little bubbles because they explained it to me during our last encounter. So I called to make a third appointment but they couldn't help me on weekdays due to my work schedule and their Saturday's are packed because they are closed on Sunday. So I was told I had to wait for the following weekend if I needed a Saturday morning appointment. During that time, my car was totaled and I'm now in a new vehicle. The point I'm getting at is: they are nice people and will hold up their "Lifetime Warranty" promise for bubbles and such. However, it is not nearly worth the time that I had to invest to try to get my windows to look the way they should after the first time. Because I was never pleased with the job done, and they re did it several times, I decided I write a post to warn others. The lifetime warranty is great, but not if its never done right. It looks like all they do is tint and wraps here. It is baffling to me that they'd have to redo cars, especially more than once, for not "cleaning" the windows well enough. Use a razor blade or something, it can't be that hard. I headed to my old spot in the SFV to get my new car tinted and it is perfect, it looked perfect after the second or third day, not 8. It cost the same but I had to drive a little further but now it's done forever. The worst part is that I told these guys that I have a ton of friends who are always buying and selling cars who need a solid tint guy and they couldn't get it right. I will not recommend this place to anybody. They will redo and redo and redo but you have to decide what your time is worth. I figured since I had to drop my car off and waste all of that time, what's another 20 minutes of writing a review, right? Oh and one more thing. I had to drop my car off with these guys for several hours each time. The place I went back to gets it done in about an hour with me sitting in the waiting room. I showed up 3 hours later and my car was sitting in their parking lot with no tint. I often see their workers driving on the 118 freeway. And they are often speeding and not going by the traffic rules. Sometime I see their Honda Accord, wrapped in matte blue, speeding in the car pool lane on 118 West freeway. And there's only one person in the car, he shouldn't even be driving in the car pool lane. And just yesterday afternoon, I saw their Toyota truck speeding 80+ MPH in the carpool lane on the 118 East freeway and at the same time there were couple pieces of glass windshields loaded on the truck. How can they drive so dangerous like that on the road and careless about the public's safety? Especially when they have their name printed on the their vehicle. read more

I got my windows tinted by Eloy about 5 months ago and they still look like I just picked the car up! No bubbles, no anything weird. I really have to give a shout out to Eloy for being cool with me just showing up without calling first and taking care of my car in a super timely fashion. It wasn't the next one in the shop since there were other cars there before mine but he told me to give him an hour and to check back in. My boyfriend and I walked across the street to Chuy's for some drinks and shitty bar food, came back an hour later and I no longer had a fish bowl car!! Iv had to go back to have window tint replaced 5 different times! There were bubbles in it due to dirt. Then after coming in three times, the guy wants to blame me and my car which i keep pretty clean that there was dirt behind the tint. So i gave him the benefit of the doubt and went and vacuumed out my truck AGAIN. Then when I come back to pick it up, the edges on my front window are coming up. I have a pick up truck so there is 3 small windows in the back. The small center window in the back was cut too small so you could still see daylight around the latch. It seemed like every time i had problems on different windows. The more times i had to come in there the more frustrating it was. Now 2 of the 3 back windows are a lighter tint than the other. Its ridiculous having to drive back here so many times. The lady at the desk is very nice, its the guys they have working there. I would never go back for any other work. If they weren't changing all their mistakes for free I wouldnt have been back this many times. Not to mention one of the times they made my appointment for 12 noon the next day and then when i went in the same guy that made my appointment said they couldnt take me cause they were about to close for some reason. Paid 230 for 3M all windows on a Chevy volt, with "lifetime warranty" which is total horseshit because Eloy won't honor jack squat and will accuse you of lying. Sold the car since and bought a new one, same car, got the same tint and an ACTUAL lifetime warranty from west coast tint down the street for 180, 3M all the way around. Eloy tinted the 5 back windows on my Audi A4 in a timely manner. It made a huge difference, I only give him 4 stars because I had to take it back to have some "squeegee" marks on the rear window. I didn't get the front windows tinted because every vehicle that I've done that to gets me a ticket. I seriously don't know how so many people get away with it. read more
