Back again to see Tom and Sarah. My wife needed new rims to mount snow tires on. Tom emailed pictures of all the many choices available and it was easy to pick them and pay for them online. I ordered pressure sensors thinking I needed them. Sent my wife to get them installed and Tom sent an etransfer refund for the sensors that I thought I needed but apparently didn't. Sarah made my wife a cup of tea for the short half hour it took to mount and install the snows. Fabulous service from a husband and wife team who are friendly, fair, and honest. I have a C8 corvette and was having the dickens of a time finding an excellent tire shop that would deal with swapping tires off OEM rims to true forged rims then doing a road force balance at a REASONABLE cost. Well I found this shop in Surrey...Premier Tires and Wheels. His google reviews are off the charts (4.9 out of 5.0). Thomas has all the high end equipment for dealing with forged rims and is a true professional and very reasonably priced. It was worst experience here, stay away. I changed 4 tires for my daughter's car, the second day the front left tire was low pressure and she filled it up. The third day on highway , the tire got flat on driving and she could have got an accident. It was leaking air from the rim. When I brought the tire back and he didn't admit at his fault, it was brand new tire and no nails on it. He complained she damaged the tire to drive on flat tire and he dump the tire and rim on me. He was very RUDE and aggressive for the customer service with F word. Will anyone expect the flat tire on brand new tire? I will never go back here again and so do you! My wife called me 9:15am this morning saying she hit something in the school parking lot and that her tire was flat. Stuck downtown I turned to Tom @ Premier Tires and Wheels to find a solution. Tom offered to drive to the school in Port Moody and fix on the spot. The only problem is that my Michelin Premier LTX tire was not in inventory and that it would need to be ordered. By 11:30am same day Tom had the tire in hand and was on the way to fix the tire! Incredibly by lunch my wife was up and running. My stress levels were to the absolute max. Tom is indeed a very good tire installer, but when I had one leaky valve stem of the 4 that he put in brand new together with my new tire purchase he would not replace it without charging me $ 150. So basically there is no warranty with the job he does and that is not good. He does not do a submersible water test with the tires with his mobile tire service and that is why the leaky valve stem did not show up. I even offered Tom that I would drive it to Surrey or wherever nearby he was with his mobile unit to have him fix it, but he refused to do it. read more

Tom and Sarah are amazing and they are the best at what they do. Tom was willing to take a late appointment for me (6pm) and I wasn't expecting to get out of there until 7:30pm or later based upon previous experiences. From the moment I pulled in to the bay Tom and Sarah were friendly and made me feel very welcomed and Tom immediately went to work. It took him not more than 30 minutes to have all 4 of my new tires mounted on my rims, balanced, and reinstalled. His exceptional service and attention to detail (lining up the logo TDC with the valve stems for example) means that he has earned a customer for life. So long as I live in the lower mainland I will be returning. I also asked for some quotes on aftermarket rims and his prices blew me out of the water. The same quality name brand rims AND tires for MUCH less than any competitor I have seen whether it is online or in person. I have a big Class C motorhome that had a flat tire. I called several different mobile tire places and they either didn't return my call or quoted a crazy high price. I called Tom at premier and he was really easy to deal with. Actually answered his phone first try and answered more questions by text. I called him at about 7:30pm and was at my place by 8:30. Avoid this place, worst experience I have ever had at any place of business in any industry. Hence, I have felt compelled to write my first review ever. Went in a couple Fridays ago, had some wheels I needed mounted and was shopping for affordable tires and TPS sensors swapped from my stock rims to new ones. Went in because he was in my neighbourhood and I am a strong believer in supporting the independent mom and pop type places. Met Tom the so called tire guy, despite me being polite and friendly, this guy was rude and seemed annoyed that I was bothering him with my questions. According to him he doesn't like tire kickers, or in other words people who shop around on where they spend their hard earned money. Regardless he could not get the tires until Monday. He told me if I do come back bring sensor "gaskets". So I shopped around a bit and decided to go back to Premier the price on the Chinese tires was good, and I'll support the small business. I come back on Saturday and order the tires for Monday morning gave my credit card # and was told to wait for a call Monday. I search online for "gaskets" and nothing comes up. I call Honda and Acura and they said there is no gaskets you can buy a new nut and washer. The other tire shops tell me they can swap the sensors they have never heard of a gasket. I took Monday off work to get the tires done. Didn't get a call morning so around 12pm I texted Tom a very polite message asking if my tires were in and if I can come in, he replied "I don't know what your talking about", so I called him and he's extremely rude over the phone like i'm bothering him and hangs up. I call the shop back and the employee tells me to get there asap. I go in and he says he needs the sensor gasket. I head over to Honda which is literally less than 5 minutes away and the Honda says no gasket but there is a nut and washer, I grab those and head back to the shop. I get to the shop and am told well they are on lunch now come back in 30 minutes. Now i'm on my 3rd visit back and fourth and its about 1:30pm. I came back and now Tom is there. He is basically yelling at me from the time I pull in. Where are the gaskets etc. I said dude they are no such thing as the gaskets. He snaps at me and mumbling under his breath and says he will take one tire off first. He takes one tire off and take the sensor out, snaps at me where at the parts you got, I said there on the table, he yells these aren't going to work, your wasting my time, i'm not doing this job, this is fucking bullshit I told you to get gaskets. I said I went and the guy said there are not gasket, he said I don't care what the fucking guy told you, I fucking told you don't come back here without the fucking gasets, didn't I tell you that? I said Honda says no such thing, he says this is an Acura, I said they are one and the same, he said no they aren't. I'm looking at this guy dumbfounded, someone else in my shoes would of probably punched him right in the mouth for the way he was talking me down but I remain calm. He quickly puts my tire back on and tells me to get out of his shop. I didn't want to make a scene so I leave. I drive 3 blocks and my tire is completely flat, this incompetent tool didn't tighten the valve stem and all the air leaked out as I'm driving. At this point I wanted to drive back and "make a scene". But I take 5 minutes to calm down pull into the gas station and fill the tire back up so I can get home where I can swap the spare on myself. I called around and Alex at Rasha Auto in surrey took care of me asap when he heard my story. NO GASKETS REQUIRED, and gave me great price on Pirrelli's. As for Tom "the tire" guy, well be warned the theme in the negative reviews, yelling, rude, condescending, don't believe the fake positive reviews this is the worst customer experience I have ever had in 40 years at any business. Few things, this Tom doesn't know the first thing about running a business, Tom is not a tire expert, and one day Tom will run into the wrong person with his attitude and it wont end well for him. read more
