I went in to see about having lenses replaced in a pair of existing glasses. I walked in and a…read morewoman greeted me. I'm assuming she was in some type of management position because she appeared to be training the woman sitting next to her. I said I'm wanting to see about having the lenses replaced in these glasses. First of all, she looked at me like I had two heads and then said, for a warranty. I said no, just to have them replaced, my insurance will pay for lenses but not frames. She took the glasses from me and looked at them for a minute and twisted them a bit and then told me she "would say no". She didn't trust the integrity of the glasses that when the lenses were popped out they wouldn't break. That may be, though I have serious doubts. However, she seemed much more interested in what she was doing on the computer. She was also very dismissive about the entire idea of replacing the lenses. There are plenty of other places to buy glasses that aren't Lens Crafters or one of their many subsidiaries.
