I have now gotten 4 installations from Window World in Farmingdale and I will never use anyone else…read morefor my windows or doors. In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

Working with the team from the consultation process to installation was nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. We were on a tight timeline of when we needed the windows to be installed and Tom and his team did everything possible to honor that for us. The installation team was efficient, diligent, and courteous. No complaints and highly recommend!

Last summer it was sweltering hot, with most days listed as "above average" and many of THEM at 90…read moredegrees or above. By Labor Day, the weather person said "If you thought THIS summer was hot wait a few years until you remember this summer as the last cool one we had". We have a large Western-facing bow window that was getting direct sun. We put that window in 27 years ago, and it worked perfectly fine. Opened, closed, clear glass, nice screens. Really, a very nice bow window without a single problem. I didn't have window treatments because I like a plain look and it's a living room, not a bedroom. But I felt like I was under a magnifying glass, with the sun concentrating in our living room. The air conditioner would not stop cranking, and it was only getting moderately cool. All my neighbors have the same problem, but solved it with thick drapery which, aside from being expensive (4K for one neighbor!) was just dark. I was out shopping with my parents for window treatments, and my father said "Just get Renewal by Andersen Low-E glass". Now my dad is a frugal guy AND a builder. I couldn't BELIEVE he was recommending replacing perfectly good windows, but he explained "They are the best windows out there, I only use Andersen, and look, my house doesn't get hot". And it doesn't. Well one more hot day later, and I call the Andersen people. They have fliers, commercials, social media ads...I just found one of those numbers and made the call. I might have said "I am roasting alive in my own house". Next week, a consultant, Vito Anasto, comes to the house, and he has his box of samples, and a heat lamp. He was so down to earth, and didn't try to "sell" me anything. In fact, I started talking about OTHER windows, and he asked if I had any idea what windows cost, and I hadn't. So he gave me a ballpark figure and I quickly agreed that we should just discuss the one bow window. It was higher than I expected, but I appreciated his honesty. So he explained how the Low-E windows worked, and I was already getting excited. Then, out comes the heat lamp. Vito said "I usually don't do this demonstration, but since it says here 'Client reports being roasted alive' let me show you exactly how these work". So he takes the heat lamp, opens one of my existing bows, and holds the heat lamp outside. I touch the inside of my glass, and almost burn my hand. Then we decamp to the table, and he has samples. We do the same thing with each of the samples, and with the top-of-the-line sample, it's like a trivet. Cool to the touch! I was SOLD. Vito explained that he doesn't have to really sell the windows, the product sells itself; he's just there to figure out which of the local and national deals--which are ongoing--will help me get the best price. And after some searching and playing on his computer, out comes a price. It was higher than I thought it would be, but it was one price. No add-ons, no surprises later...one and done. Well, I looked longingly at that sample that acted like a trivet, and signed. No regrets.

He measured, gave me a quote, left. 2nd man came to do a better job about a week later. He measured, said there'd be no problem. Took my check for the entire amount. That was a Wednesday. Ended up walking in on a Saturday to a surprisingly decent sized showroom. We were greeted by Jim who educated us first-time buyers on different types of front door materials, accessories and options. This was the shopping experience I was looking for, especially for us first-time buyers. We had in mind what we were looking for and Jim was able to replicate exactly what we wanted and with guaranteed good quality. There were plenty of brochures to build what we wanted and Jim was able to build our front door on a computer program so we could visualize exactly what we wanted. Morningstar takes care of the purchasing and guarantees a lifetime warranty. You have to find your own contractor for the installing portion - they give you a list of recommended contractors or you can go your own way and find your own. Our custom blue door and screen door was delivered in exactly 2 weeks! We couldn't believe it. Especially because a competitor prior to this visit told us we would have to wait 8-9 weeks for a custom door almost doubled the price. We are highly pleased on our purchase and will certainly recommend Morningstar to all our friends and family!

Obviously the shed is not squared correctly just thrown together. wanted the pavers to butt together so nothing could crawl under, they left gaps. when told they wouldn't be getting the planned generous tip, they began shoving the pavers under the installed shed, ramming them with a crowbar. the pavers are all broken, scratched and ugly. we never could of imagined the work could of be of such poor quality. its frustrating that we spent our money there, reached out several times. non one has called back, and they do not answer the phone for us. such a really simple was such a very poor job. you will get burned.
