There are not many businesses you can go to where you leave feeling 10lbs lighter. It felt like Will, owner and masseuse at Premiere Touch, took the weight of the world off my shoulders. I found Premiere Touch through Yelp, and easily by the third review, I knew I had to book with him. I don't treat myself to massages often, but I knew I needed one badly. Remember the stress of 2020? LOL I already knew I was in good hands before my appointment because of how easy it was book online, the COVID policies that are front and center, and the reminders leading up to the day of. When I met Will, he told me he was a self-proclaimed germaphobe, so everything was spotless and ready for my appointment. Before diving into the massage itself, Will talked to me about my areas of concern, why I made my appointment and what I was looking for. Fair warning, this isn't your typical spa-day massage with a Fabio-like character and palm tree vibes. This is a deep tissue massage where every kink will get worked out of your body, in an enjoyably painful way. I left feeling light, loose and already looking forward to the next appointment with him. Where to begin... Well, first, I have to note how utterly beautiful, relaxing and calming the decor is here, both in the room and the reception area. The walls are a gorgeous chocolate brown and is illuminated by candles and beautiful accents. The therapist (and the owner), Will, was extremely knowledgeable, giving me great advice regarding my overall health practices as well as about my water intake and coffee consumption - tomorrow, its herbal tea for me. This was hands down the BEST massage I've received in all my 42...ahem..29 years on this earth. This man knows what he's doing. Today was my very first visit at the Premiere Touch Therapeutic Massage center and I can honestly say that I received the best massage that I have had in a long time.. probably ever! First and foremost, the massage therapist, Will, is so kind, warm spirited and very knowledgeable about the body and his craft. We discussed my reason for the visit and some lifestyle questions (water intake, type of job such as physical vs. standing) before getting started as well as my desired pressure. One thing I can say is that Will has very intentional hands! Lol his touch is firm but purposeful and he makes sure to ensure your comfort. I have never had a massage that felt so strategic yet relaxing.. and so thorough--I was literally getting goosebumps on the table and was thanking God in my head! I just had my first massage today; OH -EM-GEE! I will be back! I'll start with the basics: plenty of free parking, located in an office building, masks required, you receive a call to let you know to go to the office, clean and zen like space when you enter into the business. From start to finish it was a great and professional experience. Will asked the right questions, explained the massage & the pressure he used; made me feel super comfortable. The massage: My muscle are constantly tight and I always have knots in my muscles from working out. I swear most of the knots are either alleviated or they aren't as sore. He also stretches you after he finishes working on a muscle! Not only are you getting a deep tissue massage you're getting flexibility and mobility work too! If you're not used to a very deep pressure in a massage, then it may be painful for you. For me it was EXCELLENT! I had to breath through some of the pressure points he was hitting LOL but it felt so good. At the end of the massage I felt like I was walking on air. Can't wait to book my next appointment! Will is phenomenal at his craft. Yes, it is a craft. I usually have to get 2-3 "deep tissue" massages at different spa places to accomplish what Will does about 2/3 of the way through a single session. He truly listens to your needs, and understands what your body needs as well. He found knots I didn't even know existed! He also recommends add-ons to address your specific needs so you can get the most of out of your session, and not just saying "whatever you think is good." After being deployed with heavy gear, on top of moving, and renovating a house, my shoulders were locked up to a point where I couldn't roll out of bed without pain or stiffness. Will takes his time and applies just the right amount of pressure in the right areas to get the job done. In addition to great service, that place is clean, spick and span with plenty of COVID mitigation measures in place so I felt comfortable my whole visit. I can't begin to TELL YOU how fabulous this place is! I've been going for about two years and seeing Melanie each time! She is the BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST EVER ! I went this week and am scheduled for shoulder surgery next week. Melanie massaged my shoulders without any pain and I felt 1000% BETTER WHEN SHE WAS DONE! I've been going to Premiere Touch for about a year now at least once a month. The massage therapist, Will Coleman, is outstanding. Will gives the kind of massage that makes you feel better for a week or two after. This isn't a masseuse just applying lotion, Will does an amazing job of digging into those tight spots and getting those knots to release. I sit at a computer all day and prior to going to Will I had chronic headaches from the tight muscles in my upper back and neck. Seeing Will every three or four weeks has been a godsend. I just had probably one of the best massages of my life from Will at Bodywork in Columbia. the space was really nicely appointed, especially for being in a standard office building. This was the first time I had a massage from a man because I always thought that would make me uncomfortable, but nothing about the experience caused me discomfort or to feel awkward. The pressure was right on and I felt fantastic afterward. The only thing I wish I changed was that I wish I requested a face massage and I said I didn't want my buttocks massaged but in retrospect, that would have been the best way to reach the pain/tightness in my hip. However, both of those were my fault and don't in any way reflect upon the masseuse. I seriously wish I could spend one hour every week there. read more

I've been a customer/client here since 2013. I've tried other massage places but none of them even compares to premiere touch. Will does such an amazing job, as well as Melanie and Shawnee. I prefer to go to Will for deep tissue massages and Melanie for a more relaxing massage. I would rather not recommend this guy. He did not address couple of pain areas we discussed especially my lower back and neck. 80% of his focus was on my upper back and 20% on my legs and shoulders towards the end. Also, I really do not understand the reasoning behind just focusing and applying very deep pressure at a particular point/location for most of the time on my upper back? I am already feeling lot of pain at that point and rest of my body feels normal. Not a very satisfying experience. I do not really know whether it was really worth $120 ($60 with coupon) + gratuity (yes he has a big display board mentioning how much gratuity you have to pay..20%-40%..very annoying). Make your wise decision..I made mine based on the reviews here but now realizing that you can get a better massage at half the price elsewhere where they honestly focus the areas of concern for you. read more

I've had massages at several high-end spas... Will is BY FAR the BEST masseuse I've ever had. I've been to him twice, and will only go to him in the future. I have Functional Scoliosis which causes extreme hip pain and he is the only masseuse that understands the issue and how to treat it with massage therapy. I would also like to point out that both times I visited were identical. My point is that he consistent! He doesn't give a great massage on one visist and then an OK massage on the next visit. He gives a GREAT massage on every visit. His process is the same... He asks second and third level questions to make sure he understands what needs to be focused on, then he leaves the room and quickly develops his strategy while you get undressed.... I have had bad back/leg pain for years and, as such, have become a very smart, educated consumer of related therapeutic services and do thorough research. Lastly, I visit many cities, big and small, and make it a point to visit the top masseuses wherever I go, although I am VERY selective about who I let massage me - I won't visit anyone who doesn't take a medically-inclined approach on massages and/or doesn't have a holistic perspective regarding the human body/back. (OK, fine, I HAVE visited massage parlors who don't fit the bill, but that's usually because I'm in a bind and don't have other options while traveling, and I almost always regret it). Anyhow, I found Will on Yelp (he has the best reviews/ratings) a few months back and have been seeing him since. Will is THE best masseuse I've ever visited, and I quickly purchased package(s) from him. Many people waste their money and time visiting places where they receive soft, superficial massages - sure it may feel fine when you're receiving it, but it won't make you feel ANY better the minute the massage is done. The only way to feel better is to get a DEEP tissue massage that will really loosen up your fascia and muscles. You need experienced, strong hands to really perform an effective, therapeutic, deep tissue massage, and NO ONE has better hands than Will. Further, Will has knowledge of all sorts of stretches, therapies, ancient-Chinese-secrets :), etc. and he'll recommend just the right ones for you to do on your own to improve your health and sustain the progress. Despite all my back problems, and much to my surprise, Will has had me feeling significantly better than I have felt in a reaaaaally long time. The best thing you can do for yourself is to purchase a package from him, and go once/twice a week (Monday and Friday if you go twice) for a few consecutive weeks, and I assure you that you'll be hooked and feeling much better. Then, like me, you'll purchase more packages and keep coming back, because Will is the fountain-of-youth in flesh, and he'll make your body feel like your 18 again. Will is a top-tier, exceptional masseuse and ranks tops when it comes to everything, including technique, pressure (he's able to adjust it very well), knowledge, holistic approach, manners, professionalism, listening/understanding, and customizing your massage to your needs (I've been to too many places where I tell them to focus on my lower back, legs, feet, but somehow they spend 20 mins massaging my head and neck). Plus, his office is great and centrally located, and his prices are reasonable. I'm an avid user/consumer of Yelp reviews, but I never write them. That changes now as Will earns my highest, most-sincere, and informed recommendation possible, and his exceptional service has compelled me to write my first-ever review. I purchased a massage for my mom as a gift for mother's day. I trust it will be good based on previous comments. My only complaint, is that in the GIFT certificate they emailed to my mom they included the word "SALE" and have a big price tag with the deal I paid for it! Even after I selected that it was a gift. In the future, it may be nice to have an option where you DON'T include the deal price, or any price in someone's gift. Super tacky. read more
