So let's talk about my massage at Wellness Today Spa. The deciding factor to pick this place off of Groupon is when I saw one of my Yelp Elite VIP's recently visited in raved about this place. I purchased the 60 minutes wellness massage w aromatherapy, hot stones and body brush. This place is pretty easy to find, just be mindful that the business is on the front side of the building. Otherwise if you do parking in the back, you have the option to walk up the steps once indoors. As soon as I entered I was greeted by Toba. He was very pleasant and handed me forms to complete as well as took my temperature. I was led to a relaxation room to begin my experience. Toba began verbal consultation. Next, the massage experience. It was my 1st time w the body brush so I was low key excited. The aromatherapy, hot stones and body brush were excellent additions added to massage experience. Toba took his time and worked out all the stress I entered w. After session, I was greeted w a goodie bag and fantastic recommendations to assist w lower back pain as well as perfecting my posture. I believe everyone should get a massage at least once a month and I believe everyone should come to Wellness Today Spa. First time visiting and I left with a smile and a little wellness gift bag . Most importantly I left feeling rejuvenated! Genia was AMAZINNG! I enjoyed my wellness massage to its entirety. She was very thorough and the pressure was just right. I had my first post-COVID massage here and it was great! The ambiance was very relaxing and the heated table was especially nice on a cold day. Shantae (I think?) was terrific and had a great feel for just how much pressure to use, enough to be effective but not too much that it hurt. She also gave me a few suggestions for stuff to work on that were very helpful. I appreciated how she doesn't just approach the client as a job but also is invested in their self-improvement. Definitely recommend and please don't be scared off by the hardscrabble area this is located in, it's worth a trip out of your way and is within walking distance from the Patapsco light rail station for anyone who doesn't have a car. I also felt quite safe as far as COVID goes, the office was not crowded and everyone was wearing masks. Even though getting a massage with a mask on was a bit weird it wasn't a hindrance to relaxation. read more

My experience at Wellness Today Spa was more than exceptional. For the evening, we were scheduled for a couples massage and dinner. Before our massage, we enjoyed a beautiful plate of fresh fruit and sampled from three choices of wine to be selected to go along with our dinner. My massage was amazing. After a long work week, my body definitely needed some special treatment. After the massage we were led to the dining area for a meal that was superb and dessert that taste so delicious that all I could do was close my eyes and shake my head. Ineta, the massage therapist, and the chefs provided us with one of the most memorable experiences we ever had. If you've never had a massage the Wellness Today Spa is where you want to go. I had a 60 minute massage session with Ineta. She was amazing, she did excellent focusing on my problem areas, checking in about pressure and answering any questions I had. She really relaxed my back and neck. After she was done my headache was gone! The office is clean, and cute. The bathrooms were clean *always a plus*. It was okay at first but then Massage staff I was seeing left and they kept saying she was on vacation. This is when things changed with this place. After first Yelp review stating wet bed lining a few times and me having lost time because I had to reschedule the manager appeared and gave me a Massage which was okay. He was polite, professional and very attentive. He checked regularly to assess my comfort level with the pressure. Everything was perfect. An absolutely wonderful experience! I get a massage at least once a month, and I have to say, Toba is the best to work on me in 10 years. Very professional and in tune with your muscle tension. Amazing! I first found this company on Groupon, and I'm so glad I did! Booking was easy, and within a couple of days I was set up with my appointment. Ineta was my massage therapist, and from the moment I walked in she was very warm, open, and welcoming. Her priority was to make me feel comfortable and she did. During the massage, she used the perfect amount of pressure, checking in every now and then to make sure I was comfortable (but not too much to where it became annoying). The space was easy to find, although a little confusing as you pull up to what looks like a dentist office at first, but then you walk in the front door and it's the first room on your right. The atmosphere included dim lighting, and soft music in the background. I found it odd at first that I was the only client in the building, and Ineta was the only massage therapist. Then I found out that they were brand new and it made much more sense. I certainly plan on returning.
