My husband and I both had our sleep studies here. We felt completely comfortable. So glad we got things figured out!

Dr. Brannon's research, which is well documented in his books, is indisputable. Two weeks after my first pellet placement in October 2020, my physical and emotional health, and my quality of life improved significantly and dramatically. I was depressed, sad, moody, fatigued and riddled with body aches and pains. Pellets address every single awful malady that I was experiencing. The office is conveniently located with easy parking and great hours. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. I recommend Optimal Bio without reservation. You owe it to yourself to feel your best and to enjoy your life! I'm 71 years old.

Looks like 2 pellets were placed just below the skin. One broke almost immediately and was partly removed by staff. However an open wound persisted and another pellet popped out. The wound tract has not closed and has been open and discharging on my glute for over 5 weeks. I have not been able to exercise and have lost muscle and endurance due to the inactivity. Optimal Bio has done little to rectify the situation. I am still wearing gauze on the wound to catch discharge and hopefully keep it from getting infected. I am quite dissatisfied with the level of care and may just go to my primary care to address before it gets infected . When Dr Brannon was alive I don't think this would have happened but since he passed I feel like this complication due to a botched placement is just kind of ignored. It really makes me question whether the pellets are still the way to go

The Gastroenterology office associated with Raleigh Medical Group has been very disappointing, and I have chosen to go elsewhere for my gastric problems. I do not recommend Raleigh Medical Group Gastroenterology. Before my MRI revealed details of my condition I was started on the strongest dose of a powerful and massively expensive drug and suffered a lot of pain because the dose was far too high. (Most drugs should be titrated.) No one discussed the MRI results with me or that I have pancreatic cysts and need a special diet. I was sent a generic diet plan that was not geared to me specific illness. I will not go to that office again.

The office staff is rude, always changing, plus they don't care and it shows. No one ever answers the phone, EVER! I called 3 times and was on hold for over 20 minutes each time. So then I was forced to go there b/c I couldn't get a hold of my doctor!! So when I get there I see 3 receptionist talking, not working and NOT answering the phones that were RINGING! There were only 2 people waiting in the lobby too. So I have to drive up to my dr office for medical attention because theyre too lazy and don't care to work! I then tell the receptionist my experience only to be told they basically know it's happening and nothing they can do...and apparently don't care bc that phone kept ringing while I was there and the two other receptionist didn't answer it. The "technology" used is from the 1990's. Why not just use mychart, I mean all the legit medical hospitals do. Maybe you wouldn't get me mixed up with another patient like last time!! Instead they build this horrible difficult to use platform that barely works! And I swear my doctor must have a new nurse every time I'm there. At a certain age you need to have faith in your Doctor and their office, like they will answer the phone, but unfortunately I have zero in this place and won't risk my life over it.

I went into labor 3 weeks early due to ruptured membranes and my water breaking. The RN that had me…read moretriaged and waiting for a labor room was so kind. Her name was Russy and she took great care of me while waiting. My labor was really painful and I wanted to have a natural birth, but a little less than halfway through my labor, the RNs taking care if me-Marissa and Lindsay-assured me that an epidural would actually be beneficial for me because my contractions were excruciatingly painful at only 3 cm dilated-and since I was on pitocin the epidural would help with that. I agreed to the epidural and I'm so glad that those ladies kept suggesting it and calmed my nerves about it. The rest of my 4 hours of labor went by without me feeling any pain-just pressure, and Lindsay was an absolute angel during my labor and delivery. She stood by me and checked on me to make sure I was okay, and she also made sure that my husband was also comfortable (he had just had hernia surgery). When I was fully dilated and it was time to push, Lindsay assisted me and coached me through it. We had to stop pushing so she could get the Dr. to deliver the baby. I pushed him out in 24 mins but we would've had him out sooner if I hadn't had to stop so she could get the MD. Michael March, MD delivered our sweet baby boy and he was so friendly during and after the delivery and even asked my husband if he wanted to cut the umbilical cord. All the staff in labor and delivery were so nice and caring. The 2 RNs that took care of me postpartum were Mindy and Yasmine. They were both super friendly and took good care of us. The rest of the hospital staff were also really nice. I highly recommend this facility to deliver your baby-10/10 experience.

First off, if you're reading this you are most likely expecting a baby or know someone who is…read more If that's the case, CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Although this birth center is located in Wakemed Cary hospital it operates pretty independantly of the main facility. In June 2014 I became a mother for the first time and this is where the blessed event took place. This facility runs monthly tours and I would highly suggest signing up for one. The lady running the tour was super calming and full of helpful information. She reviewed every step of the process from where to be dropped off, the security detail, birthing rooms, post labor rooms and finally being released to go home. No stone was left unturned. There were roughly 15-20 people in my group. It was a great time to ask all of the random questions you'll most likely have and it's helpful to get a visual of where you'll actual be. My labor went surprisingly well and I can't sing the praises of my nursing crew enough! I know a lot of people use the words "awesome" and "amazing" very liberally but my nurses were sincerely AWESOME & AMAZING!!! I will be forever grateful to them for making my entire experience forever stellar. In addition to a fantastic staff the Women's Pavilion boasts hotel-quality amenities. Both the birthing and the post labor rooms were beautiful enough to make you forget that you were in a hospital. The Pavilion itself is in a separate wing so you feel very insulated and safe from contractable diseases and germs. They take security very seriously and access to the interior of the wing is tight. FYI: In case you're wondering, no baby has ever been kidnapped from this hospital (I asked). Unfortunately this hospital does not have a birthing pool (in case you were looking for one). Each labor room does have a bathroom and tub so if you wanted to do most of your laboring in the water you can go right ahead, you just need to be back in your bed when you're ready to push. Like I said the facility is pretty awesome. Whatever your birth plan is they are more than likely able to accommodate it. But the best part of all is it's the only place you walk into miserable & fat and leave significantly lighter and with a brand new, beautiful human being! ***Tip: After your tour I would highly suggest that you fill out all of your admittance paperwork. Get it done in advance so when you show up huffing and puffing with excruciating contractions you won't have to be bothered giving social security numbers and checking ethnicity boxes. Aint no mama got time for that!

I had previously been diagnosed with an ear infection by my PCP and prescribed a 5 day course doxycycline. It flared back up and am leaving the state for a week on Saturday. My PCP was closed due to NYE so I went to NextCare. 4.5 hours later I'm told I have flue B despite no symptoms beyond fever and dismissed. The arrogant FCP, non-doctor, said my ear was bulging but she could not see why. Totally ignored previous diagnosis from an actual Dr and gave me a tamiflue prescription despite. She then proceeded to ask me if I was a Dr or healthcare professional when I questioned why she was ignoring the fact my ear was bulging and the previous diagnosis. She did not even listen to heart and lungs until she brought me the discharge papers. Absolute waste of time and there needs to a zero star rating. AVOID
