This practice appears to have significant issues with doctor AND patient retention. In the 3 years…read moreI was there, 2 Physicians Assistants, and at least 3 patients, were released, kicked out of the practice. YES, releasing patients is a thing, typically VERY rare in the industry due to the downstream impacts of abandoning patients, but 3 in 3 years, clearly not for this practice, and 2 PA's too in that time? One has to ask what the heck is going on over there?! Why are they having so much trouble keeping doctors AND patients? What is the common denominator? Say it with me....POOR MANAGEMENT! There is much more I have to say on this subject but need to refrain in this forum. I will say to anyone else in this situation, it isn't right, and don't be bullied with what appears to be iron clad paperwork...

On 8/5, I canceled an appointment with a Physician Assistant more than 24 hours in advance and…read morerescheduled for 8/9 to see my primary physician. Despite proper notice, I was charged a $100 cancellation fee for an appointment I never attended. The charge is unjustified and not a medical service fee. I was on short-term disability and needed to meet my physician to complete insurer-required paperwork. I've since received repeated past-due notices and payment demands for this disputed amount. The clinic also sent notice that they will not accept partial payments, raising concerns about unfair billing practices. When I raised my concerns in writing and advised that I intended to file a complaint, I received a text message from the office manager, Dr. Gruber, accusing me of being "threatening." As an African American woman, I found this characterizes my professionalism unfairly and offensively. I am requesting: Removal of the $100 charge. Written confirmation that no further billing or collection attempts will occur. I have pursued this through the BBB, the Department of Consumer Affairs, and other consumer protection channels. This complaint is to show their unfair billing, poor communication, and discriminatory treatment.

Told her it was kidney pain she told me to eat more fiber and chia seeds- it was such a horrible and pointless visit they shouldnt have gotten any money. I was taking at home antibiotics (natural ones- like oil of oregano) i told her that would affect the test results, they came back that i dont have a uti but literally a few days later i stopped taking it and im back to worse again. But actually its just 'constipation' I know my body and thats not it the gas lighting in the medical system is crazy.

I get to this location Friday October 31st at 7:31pm and walk up to the desk to check in like I normally do. The girl working the front desk goes "yes?" And I proceed to tell her why I needed to be seen when she then said with a nasty attitude "I can get you in tomorrow at 8am" and I asked why I couldn't be seen now, (keep in mind she had all the lights off in the lobby minus behind the desk so it seemed like they were closed clearly she didn't want to be there), she then said I "didn't have a reservation and all the rooms were already checked in" and that they "don't take walk ins from 8am-7pm." Never once have I been DENIED CARE at this location because I did not have a prior "reservation" for any room... like it was a damn hotel. This set me off and I stormed out because I have NEVER felt so disrespected. I'd like a superior to remind this front desk girl their hours of operations AND polices because clearly she's making up her own. I could have been seen, she just wanted to leave since it was Halloween night. NEVER will I recommend this office again or trust them with my own care. Disgusted.

I had an amazing outcome here last week!…read more After 30+ yrs of medication resistant depression, I left my last treatment smiling, laughing, and ready to embrace the world. Two hours before, I was on the verge of tears and was contemplating hospitalization. Calling this treatment life-saving / life-changing is NOT hyperbole. For me, it's absolutely true. I am a licensed medical professional and researcher. The research I uncovered confirmed for me that ketamine delivered by IV is so much more effective because of the 100% bio-availability; data on the nasal delivery of esketamine shows bio-availability between 5% - 45%. While I typically prefer a conservative approach to healthcare, I was in a state of despair and needed assistance. So, I asked a fellow clinician to check out this location on my behalf. We both were satisfied with what we found. Specifically, the staff here are all Certified Nurse Anesthetists. This means they administer ketamine as part of their daily practice, ketamine is a well known medication for them to administer and to regulate, and they are skilled in its management. Some locations that administer ketamine do not have these professionals on site and would have to call 911 if something untoward occurred. Finally, I believe the previous poster is unfamiliar with the healthcare paradigm. Nurse Practioners and Physician Assistants require a supervising physician but are autonomous healthcare providers otherwise. This company rents space in Select Family Practice and they have a supervising physician - Russell Harrell, MD - and two PAs. Triangle Ketamine Specialists is licensed by the state and has no need for a dedicated physician for their practice to operate. I recommend this practice without reservation and have recommended it to both friends and patients. I have not felt this happy, energetic, and resilient in more than a decade.

I asked about treatments and they gave me information about financing. What? They wouldn't share the name of the doctor or even the names of medical providers. Weird and shady. Why would doctors office not include the name of the doctor on the door of the office, on their informational material in the office, on the website, or even in person when I asked. I did not receive treatment from this factory / facility.

For the past few weeks I had been having severe nausea lasting several hours at a time as well as occasional sharp pains in my upper chest when I went to see her. She knew my neurologist has been treating me for migraines and also that I'm taking a generic over-the-counter pill that includes 250 mg. of aspirin which, if I'm having two headaches in one day, is 1000 mg. Although she is ordering an ultrasound to make sure it's not my gallbladder causing my health issues, she feels that the amount of aspirin I am taking (until the once-a-month shot my neurologist has just prescribed for me takes effect), is causing my extreme nausea and pain. She has prescribed Prilosec and as she said what she thought is causing my problem it immediately made sense to me. And her young assistant and office staff are just as attentive and helpful as Dr. Nasir.
