I had a really disappointing experience at Premium Sweets, and honestly the customer service completely ruined what should have been a simple visit. The cashier, Sahan, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. What stood out the most was how unfairly customers were being treated. I had been waiting to be helped, but instead of serving people in the order they arrived, he skipped over me and chose to help female customers who came after me. It was very obvious and felt extremely disrespectful. When I tried to address my concerns, the situation only got worse. Sahan claimed he was the supervisor, but when I asked to speak with management, he refused and would not provide any way for me to contact someone above him. Rather than trying to help resolve the issue, he acted like he didn't care at all and made the whole interaction unnecessarily frustrating. On top of the poor attitude, he seemed unwilling to answer simple questions properly and came across as incompetent when handling basic customer service. There was no apology, no acknowledgment of the issue, and no effort to treat customers fairly or professionally. I came here expecting good food and decent service, but the way I was treated left a terrible impression. Customers deserve respect, fairness, and professionalism regardless of who they are. I went to Premier Sweets and really enjoyed the food. The lamb shanks were really good, and the kala bhuna was great--rich and flavorful. Mansur was great too,and the chamcham. Overall, a very satisfying experience. read more

Better than I expected. The seating area is very nice and spacious. Service was polite and friendly. Do yourself a favor and get the mango lassi! They use fresh mango and it taste like it. The sweet lassi is also good if you don't like mango. If that's too heavy for you, get the milk tea, they use real tea leaves. These drinks will help you later when you start eating spicy . The Ilish fish is great. It doesn't have any fishy smell or taste. I haven't found this fish anywhere else. The meat is soft and the dish is savory. You have to be careful to avoid or remove the small bones by hand. Snacks include chicken roll, chicken samosa, and beef patty. The chicken roll is mild in spice. I like the spice levels of the samosa and beef patty, it's flavorful without being too hot. Goat rezala curry is soft in texture, with some spicy green chiles and thick curry. After you eat the meat, the curry is very good with naan. Chicken Tikka is mildly spicy and creamy. Great for rice or naan. Shrimp Dopiaza Curry is spicy and flavorful. It has green chiles and other spices. The shrimps are big and they absorb the flavor of the curry which I really like. The shrimp is also cooked perfectly. It is not overcooked like other places. It is still soft and juicy inside. I give them extra credit for that. read more

I did not enjoy my time at this restaurant. The workers were kind but the food took 30 minutes to be served. The workers did not serve the food to our tables and did not even clean our table. They did not provide a sufficient amount of service then proceeded to ask for tips. Although, the food was okay at best. The chicken roast lacked flavor and tasted watered down. The Haleem also tasted watered down and lacked flavor and the goat meat was not tender at all. Although I was not satisfied with the food and service, the interior was very nice and modern with great seating arrangements, tv screens, and display of menu items. Overall, I would not return here due to the low quality of service and food as there are superior Bengali restaurants near the area. read more

MUST GO. I have never ate Indian food this good before. The people are great, the service is great. It keeps you active with giving you a good expectation that not everything is going to be given to you. Sometimes you have to get up and take you. It gives you cleaning habits and making sure you don't become fat with all the good food. I need to come back but unfortunately I don't live in New York read more

We went there for lunch and the inside was nicely decorated. The server was really nice. Foods were delicious and presentation was good. The only thing was the side of the plates were broken. Ever since Mirch shuttered it's doors, this has become my favourite go-to for Desi food in the neighborhood. The restaurant is great, the staff are so friendly and I've only had good experiences here. When we first started going here, they were still under construction, but it's come together very nicely. Its just a great space for a meal. They seem to change their menu around too, so I recommend being adventurous and trying something you never heard of. It's all good! Also, if you have a sweet tooth like me, the Premium Sweets side of the restaurant is fantastic. I've often stopped by on my way home to pick up a box of sweets to share with my wife, or to bring to friends. The one thing that I would want them to change is that I'd like for them to include a method for tipping servers when you pay by card. A couple of times when I've gone there, I've gotten great service and either not known I needed cash to tip, or forgotten I needed to bring it and, yeah, I don't usually carry cash on me. Food was excellent. Kacchi Biryani - Dhaka wedding standard. Lobster curry very tasty. So was fish egg "bhorta". Definitely ambience could be a lot better. I tried rice and veggies the other say and they were also very good quality. read more

Premium Canada - Dal and Chal is our most favorite Bangladeshi cuisine restaurant currently. We go there almost every weekend now and try different items and every one of them is excellent and extremely high quality. We wanted to have a party with our family members and organized one in a very short notice. Everyone loved it a lot. The food quality is extremely good and the service is also very good. Would love to mention the chef, zahir bhai, who came out to check if everything was good. He cooked for our full party of 30. Mobin bhai also gave excellent service for our party. Now the most important part - the food. Their Aadi's chicken biriyani, goat biriyani, beef short ribs, lamb shank, kacchi, borhani - all of these are best in new york. I would highly encourage to try it out. They are very well known for their dessert. Definitely try at least their dessert first. Also consider having a small family gathering too. Very intimate environment with great food and excellent service. read more

This restaurant is my absolute favorite Bengali restaurant because truthfully all the dishes I tried were phenomenal, from the appetizers to the dessert the quality and tastes were outstanding. They have an extensive menu and the tastiest desserts!! Feels as fresh as the mishti or mithai from back home! my favorite is the Grilled Lamb Chops, the khala buna, kisuri, kebabs/ garlic naan, chicken walima roast and all the desserts. It's difficult to pick one! Everything is so rich in flavor and tastes so authentic so you get exactly what you're paying for but more. Servers are always efficient, happy and polite. One thing that stands this restaurant out from others is its ambience and aesthetic appearance. This is the perfect elegant spot for a family dinner, friend gathering or date night!
