I was able to get the appointment on the same day, big plus. It was quiet, I was the only customer at that time. I felt the stylist can be more focused. I thought the price is very reasonable, unlike typical Walnut Creek salon that costs 3 or 4 times more (for similar results) , I got a hair wash and styling as well. I booked with Naomi for a special event. Upon arrival, Naomi said she'll be with me shortly. After waiting over 15 mins, I was told by another stylist it'd be another 30 min wait for Naomi and then told at least 1 hour wait unless I go with another stylist whom I didn't know. Naomi completely blew off my appointment and didn't even have the courtesy to explain the situation and even apologize. One of the most unprofessional experiences I have had with such a service. The atmosphere and stylists are all very polite, skilled and approachable. Although I only got a simple trim on my visit, their dedication to their craft has made me consider being more adventurous with my hair style. After a much needed trim, my stylist Tracy helped pick out products to help my hair frizz, and after over a week of use the results are AMAZING! My hair is much more soft and luxurious. Positive review for kids cut if that's what you're looking for. I have now had two of my sons get their long hair cut here. They do a great job! Recently I made my youngest son an appointment. I remembered when I made an appointment for my oldest, how easy their appointment app is to use and you can pay at time of scheduling which was convenient for me. You can also use app to tip. Back to recent haircut. My 6 year olds hair was a mess. It was long ( can't remember how long his last haircut was) and his grandfather had cut his bangs short "to keep the hair out of his eyes". So it was long and uneven. It's also really curly. Tracy took my son's appointment. She washed his hair and was super patient with my impatient 6 year old. She was able to cut efficiently and quickly as he was pretty skirmy. Tracy did a great job evening and cleaning it up with keeping some length so we didn't lose any of his curls. My son's hair looks so much better and I also told him it makes him look a little older. He liked that! read more

This place has no respect for people's time. I arrived for my appointment 5 minutes early and was instructed to wait, the receptionist even offered me a drink and told me you are early for your appointment. I asked if I could wait in the reception area since it is Covid time. She responded that I could and the stylist would be with me shortly but never mentioned she was running late. 15 minutes after my appointment time the stylist came and told me she is running late and if I could return in 30 minutes. I agreed and left and came back punctually after 30 minutes. This time the receptionist did not acknowledge my arrival and I simply seated myself in the reception area. After 20 minutes of waiting I enquired about my appointment but the stylist replied I am still finishing up my other client and I should wait more. I was not offered any apologies or even asked if I wanted to reschedule. After an hour of my time wasted, I left without a haircut. Terrible service I must say. read more
