Guy doesn't seem to want to do business. I have seldom been treated so rudely. And I'm a past customer -- had him work on my systems 3-4 times in the past. And BTW, when I did have him do work in the past, he messed around with the software, and it took me a couple of weeks to get my apps back to the condition where I needed them to be. Anyway, today I phoned, asked him when would be a good time bring my computer down for service/repair. He told me I had to upgrade the operating system because Putin owned my computer. When I said I liked my OS, but just wanted the unit repaired, he got angry, said that I had interrupted his lunch (at 2 pm), and told me to call back in an hour. Horrible place, HORRIBLE "service"! Their website, Facebook etc never says what days, hours they are open. During the day, their Facebook page only says they are "open" but doesnt say the days or hours!! You call their phone number during week days & normal weekday hours but no one *EVER* answer the phone! Their answering machine CONSTANTLY comes on but we NEVER get a LIVE person!! The answering machine message LIES, is misleading says "we are unable to answer as we are helping other costumers" but i go on their FB page & it says "closed" - WELL why not have an answering machine & website that SAYS what your open hours & days ARE?!?! AND why not have an answering machine that tells the TRUTH whether u are open or closed?! when u have an answering machine that LIES saying "we are busy helping other customers right now..." even when u are actually closed, its misleading as it makes us think u are open, so we hang up & call back later thinking u are open, but if u had answering machine telling us u were closed we wouldnt call then!!! YOU ALSO NEED TO POST YOUR OPEN HOURS SO WE KNOW WHEN TO CALL & WHEN NOT TO!! U NEED TO ACTUALLY ANSWER THE PHONE DURING OPEN HOURS SO WE GET A LIVE PERSON TO TALK TO, INSTEAD OF GETTING NOTHING BUT AN ANSWERING MACHINE 24/7 EVEN WHEN U ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OPEN!!! and.... Their Facebook advertises their email address, so since we cant EVER get this place on the phone, so tried emailing my question, but all they did is give a one word reply & didnt answer my questions!!! Next day i call back during their "open" hours to AGAIN only get their answering machine, so i leave a message with my phone number like they ask for, so THEY can call ME back then, but they STILL ignore me & wont call me back either!! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Go somewhere else. Went in with a tablet and told him what it was used for and problem. He was rude and nasty from that instant on telling me most people are stupid, that there is an endemic of stupid people. Told me he was giving me his undivided attention and it wasn't free ! He kept asking me what my power source is, I kept telling him the outlet in my house. Then I got another lecture on stupidity! He would not hand me back the darn tablet and almost screamed at me he needs the power source. All he had to say was the charging cord! I tried to explain I didn't have it, that's why I was there I needed one and got another lecture. What an arrogant ass! read more

Having a 5 year old son means there are times when we are fighting over who gets to use the netbook and when he's using it, he might not handle the netbook in the most gentle way possible. Not surprisingly, he broke the plug from the adapter that goes into the computer . . . so I bought a replacement adapter aka "cheapie" from eBay for quarter of the price of a genuine replacement adapter . . . not surprisely again, the replacement adapter stopped working after a couple of months. Well, I wasn't 100% sure if it was the adapter or the plug in part of the netbook that was broken since my adorable son has been rough with both parts . . . So after calling around to several places, I decided to stop in at Prescott Computer and worked with Mike. And I'm glad I did! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He tested my netbook and determined my plug in part was working fine . . . gave me a little talk about not buying genuine replacement parts, how knock offs are unreliable in a friendly, conversational manner. The whole experience was all very enjoyable. The best part? When I started to pull my wallet out of my purse to pay for his time and service, he gave me a smile and said, "No worries, free of charge!" Thanks again Mike for your help!! read more

I called to have a conversation with Mike and he hung up on me because I called before business hours - I'm not in his time zone and it was 2 minutes before they officially opened - don't answer the phone if you're busy or not open yet! Went in for a simple question to be answered. After being talked down to twice in 3 minutes I picked up my computer and left asking if he owned the place and if so, how does he stay in business because of being so rude. Owner came outside and said F-off and die and then acted like he was taking my license plate and said he was going to report me. My question is for what. Be Aware of owner of business. read more

I was treated with no respect . I really cant beleive the way I was spoken too. the cost was twice the amount I was quoted and i felt as if mt computer was held hostage. I spent much more then the cost of a new computer. When estimate was given I asked if cost would exceed a updated computer and was lied too it would seem. I had an intermittent connection on the charging port of my S3 Samsung smart phone. I wasn't sure they could help me but after reading Prescott Computer's Yelp reviews, I gave them a try. Mike said that he could look and check it out. I explained to him that the local Sprint store had given me the run around twice, so I was appreciating his offer. He said the repair of the port would probably need conductive epoxy for a solid connection. Mike checked and stated that my Samsung has the option for wireless charging. All I needed were the wireless charger & an inductive receiver and we could bypass the main charging port. Mike was nice enough to print out suggested units for me to order on line. When asked how much I owed him, Mike said no charge today. I spent about $17 ordering from Amazon and then installed the receiver pad. Charging problem fixed...!!! Yes, I will return to Prescott Computer if my home systems ever need service. read more

I took my PC in to Prescott Computer a couple of years ago and was treated horribly by Mike. I am not all that computer savvy, but didn't know who else to go to. Now it's time to get a new computer and that's why I'm on this page looking for someone who is kind, helpful and patient. It took several days to get my computer back from Prescott Computer and when I called to ask the status of the repair, I was screamed at and demeaned by Mike. When I was finally able to pick it up, I brought my husband with me because I honestly did not know what to expect from Mike. I just moved to Prescott and wasn't really sure where to go when my keyboard suddenly stopped working (a certain area of keys just went dead). The price to get it fixed was very reasonable. This is the second time I've had to get the keyboard replaced, and the first time I went through the manufacturer, and I paid almost double for a repair that took over 4 times as long as I did here. I found the staff very friendly and helpful They replaced my keyboard in just a couple days. So far my computer works great. I cannot recommend Prescott Computer enough. read more

Called Prescott Computer on a Saturday to see if they were open. Mike answered and we discussed my computer problems. Agreed to bring computer in that afternoon. Mike sat down and spent a half hour or so woking with the computer and going over the problems and discussing options. Left the computer for cleanup of miscellaneous junk accumulated over several years. When went to retrieve computer brought in some iPads and iPods and MacAirbook for some minor glitch correction. Just had a custom machine built by these guys. They made the whole process very easy because they know what they are doing. Amazing how well it came out. It is one FAST computer. They're help in how it was setup with Windows 10 made the learning cure nearly ZERO. All my data was transferred from an old broken down laptop. Buyer be aware on this one. Owner is demeaning, critical and self-absorbed. He is unprofessional and very hard to stomach. He not only treated me horrible but he did so with other customers. Talks down to everyone.Thinks he knows everything. When my computer didn't work after they fixed it, he blamed me.
