I am beyond ecstatic regarding the care I got from the Prescott Endodonic Associates. I had an infection in the root of a tooth and bone and made an appointment in early February at an endodonic office in Prescott. The soonest I could get in was April 4! On March 28, I cancelled the appt. thinking I would get the tooth pulled instead. I called back 1/2 later ((2:30 pm) after reconsidering and hoping I could get my appt back. I got their voicemail. Left message and got a call back THE NEXT DAY saying they could see me on JUNE 24. My prior appt was gone. I then called Prescott Endodonics and immediately got a real person on the phone - Erin, who was wonderful, kind, attentive, and got a SAME DAY APPT. to take care of the tooth! Dr Oblad did the procedure. He is AMAZING. Gentle, kind, patient and thorough! I felt totally at peace, knowing I was getting the best expert care possible. I cannot thank them enough for taking such good care of me from beginning to end. The whole staff was wonderful, giving me total confidence that I was in the right place. I had a root canal this past Friday, April 9th. This was the first time I had been to this office. From the minute walked in, we were greeted promptly and professionally. I was seen on time and after all the proper covid q & a I was introduced to the X-ray technician. I was greeted warmly by the dentist and the technician and we engaged in some chatter about Yosemite. I was asked the related questions to ensure the work was going to be done on the right tooth; the procedure was explained and the X-rays were visible so that I could ask questions. The dentist numbed the area and did not leave me while the Novocain took effect. Can you imagine? There was no other patient waiting for the dentist to see while he was taking care of me. The music was soft Motown and the dentist and tech sang on key. So did I when I could. Both the dentist and technician were receptive, responsive, patient and above all CARING. I don't wish for another root canal but I would go back to this wonderful group people in this clean and inviting environment in a New York minute. This was a last minute most unexpected surgery required. Thanks to the hard work of my husband, who found this location, I was able to have the examination and surgery on the same day. The staff efficiently worked to schedule exam and surgery in the afternoon, since I had to drive about an hour and half to the office. Within 30 minutes, paperwork and my xrays were complete, followed by exam with Dr. Oblad. During the multi phase exam, Dr. Oblad explained each result and verified each cause of the pain from the 'angry' tooth. The surgery was pain free and gave great results of pain relief. I have been very blessed to have healthy teeth most of my life, this was a first experience of surgery for a most unfortunate root canal. Thanks to Endodontic Assoc., the entire process was as stress free and painless as possible. It has been several days since surgery, the inflamation is almost gone and pain is practically gone. I expect to have my buildup and crown in the next couple of weeks. read more

My dentist referred me to Prescott Endodontic Associates. Apparently, several of his own family members had been treated there. I was definitely in good hands. Three very nice and capable people (I cannot remember their names) greeted me and signed me in. I only had to wait a few minutes when Dr. Innes' friendly assistant x-rayed my teeth. The tooth in question had a crown and was part of a bridge. Then Dr. Innes explained that the three roots of my tooth had suffered bone loss and are very fragile. He would do his best to combat the severe infection. He and his very capable assistant (I don't recall her name) worked on the complicated root canals. I experienced no pain or discomfort for the next 90 minutes. I was given instructions how to care for my gum and tooth and also a prescription for antibiotics. So far, after three days, all is well. I am very happy with the work Dr. Innes did and would recommend him and all the nice people who assisted in my treatment. read more

It was Thanksgiving week 2023. I had pain that was radiating out from the "hot" tooth to both upper and lower gums, my ear, and even giving me a slight headache. With a short work week, I didn't want to wait because I knew the pain would get worse. Went to my dentist with pain at 11 am on Monday. Got an appointment at 2:15 pm the same day. The people at the front desk were great. I received a phone call about two hours before telling me how much the procedure would cost with my insurance. Kayleigh came and got me about 2:10 for imaging. Dr. Van Ness did the root canal. I was probably in the chair for 1 1/2 hours. He was professional with a good sense of humor that gave me confidence in his abilities. He put in the filling as well. After that the pain subsided greatly and by the next day was gone. Kayleigh called the next day to see if I was doing alright. I was told several times if I had any problems, to call them. Excellent all around. Thank you! read more

On 8/27/18 I called Dr Bennetts office to seek an appointment for a root canal that was needed. I spoke to the front desk and explained my situation. They were very concerned and advised me that they could see me the same day. I arrived and the staff took me right in . The nurse Haley was very compassionate and she has the best bedside manners and made me feel very comfortable. She explained to me step by step what was going to occur. Dr Bennett came in introduce himself what an amazing person he also explain to me what was going to occur and started the procedure. Dr. Bennett was extremely gentle and throughout the procedure ask me several times how I was doing and if I was okay he was very fast and efficient. I was referred to Dr. Smith by Dr, Scott Hicks and was so pleased to be able to be seen right away. I had a very pleasant experience. The staff are so friendly, patient and helpful. Dr. Smith explained my situation very well. I was in need of 2 root canals because of a serious infection. He and his very adept assistant got to work very quickly . They really work well as a team, all the while keeping my comfort in mind. I was able to observe a lot of the procedure which I found most interesting. I am very comfortable following the procedure. I have a few more days with the antibiotic and then all should be back to normal. I am grateful to Dr. Hicks and Dr. Smith for saving most important teeth. I recommend this office highly. My dentist referred me after he was not able to complete my difficult root canal (dentist has always wanted to send me here). It was 4:30 in the afternoon, still numbed up I called. To my surprise Amanda said come right in (she's from Vermont like me)!! They were all very nice. The assistant, Vicky, asked if I had eaten, I laughed since I had already been in the dentist chair for 2 hours. She got me some apple sauce since that was all I could manage. Dr. Oblad and Vicky started working on me. They were able to complete the root canal, with instructions. Next morning Vicky called me to see how I was doing. On Thursday when visiting my dentist as I had had a toothache for eight days, I learned that I needed a root canal. Dr. Farnsworth, Pro Solutions, highly recommended Dr. Innes. His office was called and it had an opening that same day in the afternoon for the procedure. I felt confident throughout the whole root canal as Dr. Innes explained everything to me before commencing it; his assistant was fabulous! He sent his report to my dentist and included a recommendation that the old twenty year crown be replaced rather than be filled. Because of all the prompt care and followup I have an appointment scheduled with my dentist for a new crown mid October. Kudos to Dr. Innes and staff! read more

Ms. Season walked me through how to call my insurance company and what to say. She was able to get me in the same day, and the staff even stayed a bit after hours to treat me. Upon entering the Prescott office, I was welcomed and felt at ease in a scary (to me) situation having to have an emergency procedure. The assistant to Dr. Innes talked to me and patted my shoulder in comfort as Dr. Innes explained what he was doing. He found a large crack and lots of infection so was unable to do the root canal. He talked me through the painful procedure of cleaning out the tooth, even stopping periodically to make sure I was okay. Thank you for making time for me and staying late to finish up. read more

Going to Prescott Endodontic was a verygood experience. Everyone, from the staff who answer the phones, to making the appointment, to getting the paperwork... was very nice. The day of the appointment I went in, was taken back very soon thereafter - the technician could not have been any nicer or more caring! The dentist, Mark Oblad, DDS had a very calm and pleasant way about him - professional, caring and very aware of a patient in the chair! I was outsourced from the Prescott VA to get a much needed root canal done. I was called promptly and was able to be seen that same week. Every person I dealt with was extremely kind, courteous, respectable and a top notch professional. In total, the procedure took just over an hour. The dentist was truly a master of his craft and made me feel comfortable and took the time to ensure I was not in pain throughout the entire root canal. The assistant was also a true jack of her trade. She was well educated on all the instruments and knew precisely when to choose a new one and change to another. Thank you to the staff first, for a pleasant arrival to begin my root canal. I had little pain, but I'm glad they accepted the appointment at the very last minute. Dr. Oblad and his assistant were full of information telling me what was going to take place. I did not expect to get it done right away. It was almost quitting time on a Friday and no one acted like they needed to leave. That shows that they care about the patient. Finally, after the root canal, I experienced no pain at all. My daughter who is 13 had to have a root canal done on her front top tooth. Her sister told her it was going to hurt and all these horror stories. Needless to say, my daughter was super anxious and freaked out..... She was treated so kindly by doctor Oblad and his assistant Hailey. She said she felt no pain when given the shot and has had no pain the past few days after having it done. I called them today about a root canal referral I had. I figured it would be at least a week or two before I could get in so I was hesitant to even try. But the pain wasn't going to let me forget. So I called late in the afternoon and I was wrong!!! The got me in ASAP!!! The staff there were friendly and caring, it was amazing!!! Dr. Smith listen to what was going on and explained what my options were and got to working quickly. Just as quick as I was in I was done and heading home. August 2020 - My regular dentist said I needed a root canal after he had removed a cracked filling in July 2020 the gums around the tooth swelled up and became very painful. He referred me to the Prescott Endodontic office and said they'd take good care of me. I got a same day appointment and Dr. Chris attended to me. He was outstanding and made the experience (I hate dentist chairs) bearable from the novacane and during the procedure he kept asking if I was ok. I would highly recommend this group! read more

My appt was Friday, Nov 22. and the moment I walked in the door Erin greeted me by name. I would give Dr Oblad and his assistant Celena a 10++ review. From the moment I sat in the chair they were personable, and their priority was to calm my anxiety and keep me informed throughout the procedure. Yesterday Dr. Oblad performed a root canal on one of my older crowns. The procedure was extremely smooth. Dr. O was very attentive, explained the whole process, and I really enjoyed his periodic status updates as he executed the operation. His assistant, Becky, also provided superb service. Overall, it was a very satisfying event. Today I have no pain whatsoever, and I attribute that to Dr. O's skill. I don't wish for root canals, but if needed, I will revisit Dr. O and his staff. read more
