The owner provided a great overview with clear instructions, better than you receive at most escape rooms. The room was put together well with lots of clues and puzzles to solve. It was especially impressive to hear that they design all their own rooms and puzzlers rather than purchase scenarios like other escape rooms. Our team of 4 was successful in just over 50 minutes. Wish we were staying longer so we could try one of the other rooms, they all looked fun!

This was the first place in Flagstaff we did and, sadly, we were very disappointed. We did both of their rooms - Storm the Castle and Wizard's Chamber - and they both leave much to be desired. Storm the Castle is anything but immersive. You walk into this very large room and all you see are five tables with a box on each one, a couple of chairs, minimal wall decor and a large, lego castle. The clues and objects in the room are not themed that well to the room either. The method for delivering clues is done by the game master walking into the room and his clues are not clues at all but rather him saying things like "go look at that poster". Bor-ing! Wizard's Chamber was better than Storm the Castle as far as its decor, props and how immersive it was but there are still objects (the kind of books, for example) that don't fit in with the theme of the room. And if you've done one of their rooms, there's really no reason why you can't escape the second one because they use the same kind of clues and puzzles in both rooms. There's no challenge or element of surprise when you do their second room. Compared to the majority of the other rooms we've done (nearly 100), Flagstaff Escape Rooms hits extremely low on our list of the ones we liked and/or would recommend. If you have never done an escape room before and this is your only option, maybe going here wouldn't be so bad (since you don't have anything to compare it to). But for anyone that knows what an escape room is supposed to be like, do yourself a favor - save your money and skip this place.

I was in the medium difficulty room which took place at a ski resort. The room was challenging, but the staff were very generous in giving us "nudges" to get us in the right direction. It made our group grow in communication and delegation. We had fun and laughed a lot. Even a fun surprise when you complete the room. Our coworkers in the gambling themed room had a good time and was able to escape as well. Sounds like it was considerably harder than our room. We all had a good time.

They have so many spots available given the strip outlet location it's in. I do recommend not wearing any thick or heavy clothes and bringing as little items as possible, because you will be moving A LOT and sweating will be your enemy. The premise is similar to an escape room, but there are several themed, interactive rooms that you try to progress through. Each room has a 3 minute time limit and if you pass the first challenge, a door opens to another room. Each themed room has 3 challenges total. We all had a lot of fun working together as a team. The rooms are hard to complete (at least for us lol) and some of the rooms required more physical ability. There are employees there to help you as requested, which helps if you get stuck on what you're supposed to do. The rooms are well put together, theme-wise, which adds to the experience of the challenges. There were a lot of people there, which meant a long waiting time. I feel as though we did more waiting than we did inside the rooms. Although, it didn't help that several rooms broke or weren't functioning correctly throughout the night. There's also a bar in the back where you can grab drinks and food, if you so choose. I would recommend waiting until after the experience since you have a 2 hour time limit. Overall, Bam Kazam is a unique activity to get a group of friends or family together for a night of fun and challenges! I would definitely go back again, but perhaps on a weekday or a time that would be less busy.
