One of the best escape rooms we've ever done! Our group from Minneapolis and Chicago stopped in on Thursday night and chose to do the Double Crossed room. The owner provided a great overview with clear instructions, better than you receive at most escape rooms. The room was put together well with lots of clues and puzzles to solve. It was especially impressive to hear that they design all their own rooms and puzzlers rather than purchase scenarios like other escape rooms. Our team of 4 was successful in just over 50 minutes. Wish we were staying longer so we could try one of the other rooms, they all looked fun! read more

Super fun escape room! Our game master was very patient and helpful. The experience - The Collector 1980 - was awesome especially for those of us who loved the music, movies, etc. of the 80's. Good for people of all ages including tweens. read more

Lots of fun, we arrived early and were greeted by Ryan who turned out to be a gracious host. Ryan's instructions were very clear and specific as to the room we were to enter. We had selected the "Dead End" room. As a group of 5 and all over the age of 55 we found the puzzles creative and unique. The experience was worth the time and money. Our first Escape Room experience was a pleasure in Cottonwood, AZ. Great time, good story line and wonderful customer service.

My wife and I flew in from out of town to explore Arizona. We try to find Escape Rooms wherever we travel, and Constant Evolution Escape Rooms did NOT disappoint! We had a great time with "Dead End" (which we didn't pass ).... the owner was great and served as the game master. We stayed after and talked for about another hour as he gave us a list of points of interest along the way to Grand Canyon South Rim. We HIGHLY recommend Bearizona! That was a fantastic gem. We enjoyed ourselves so much, that we came back to Constant Evolution Escape Rooms the next night to conquer "Collectors"! Wow if you grew up in the '80s, you're gonna LOVE this room! It was hard to get going on the puzzle because you're just awestruck at the attention to detail and the nostalgia of a great period/ decade brought back to life! Bravo, I say, BRAVO!!! My husband and I just finished the 1980s theme escape room here. We loved the retro decor and all the fun little callbacks. We have done a lot of escape rooms but this one was tough! We didn't quite make it out on time. The game master explained the clues afterward and also let us see the finale we would've seen if we had gotten out in time. Overall really well done! read more

As a Veteran, I would expect more from another Veteran. On their website it states the precautions they're taking because of Covid & was disappointed they weren't holding true to those statements. We were visiting from out of town & wanted something safe to do with the kids. When we asked Ryan about the cleanliness he just got mad & said our money was non-refundable. read more

These escape rooms are so clever and fun! We usually only do the high end franchise/chains because we've been to a couple poorly done ones. There were so many good reviews we tried one...and then came back for another. We absolutely loved the Collectors and the mine one. Well done! We were visiting Sedona and last minute booked the Dead End room for 4 people. We've been doing escape games for awhile now all over the US and this was absolutely one of our favorites! Without giving anything away, it had puzzles (and solutions) we had never seen before. This company legit rivals the big corporate level games we play in our home town. You can tell the rooms are designed with love for the game and the creators are sneaky and handy at building their OWN puzzles. We love that it is Veteran owned ('Merica!). They have exciting clues with none of the repetitive and boring old padlocks and they keep the distractions (and hence the frustration) low. We got out with seconds to spare and all of us were laughing. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want to do something fun with a group (big or small). What are you waiting for!? Omg... this place is amazing!! I don't live up here but we needed something fun in the kids community and this is that! We will be trying out all the different rooms during our visits. I've done ones down in the valley and this is one of the BEST BY FAR!!! The girls are super excited to do it again. The staff is SUPER FRIENDLY and the place is SUPER CLEAN! They give great instructions so you aren't left wondering if you missed something. Also, we are not just talking doors opening, we are talking secret passage ways. If you live in Cottonwood, are in the vicinity or looking to get away and have some fun, you need to check this place out! read more

This place was awesome! The owners are great and it is clear this is a passion for them. In the end, we were not successful (though we did come close!), however we had a great time. If you like solving puzzles - this is an experience you should not skip. We had 4 people in our group and I think a couple of more people would have helped. My husband and I did the Mining themed escape room tonight and had a great time--we were soooo close to finishing! Next time! We loved the interactive puzzles and the fact that it was in theme with our destination since we went to see Jerome earlier today. For notes on COVID safety since this appears to be a concern raised by other reviewers--I'm a full time safety director--this is my take: - Both of the guys there were wearing surgical masks correctly over nose and mouth the whole time in the check in and check out processes and said they would be wearing the whole time which I appreciated considering how many other business owners in the area don't bother and wear ineffective masks like gaiters or one layer cloth masks when they actually decide to wear a mask of some kind. -They kept their distance/space from uus while describing stuff/check in -They had hand sanitizer in the front desk for use after sign in. -They were not in the room with us so most of the time it was just my husband and I--we still wore masks just in case there were any airborne droplets from previous users but I was very reassured to see that their schedule has at least a two hour break between use of every room and they also only allow private single group bookings right now (no strangers joining you) so the risk is likely pretty low even without a mask. -Everything looked clean to me--with that said, I didn't go into depth with asking about this as the risks with COVId are not primarily from surface contact and I'm assuming anything outside of my house will require basic good hand hygiene/don't touch your eyes/nose/mouth without sanitizing. Overall I would rate them an 9 on a 10point scale for COVId precautions and they were better at this than the one other escape room we did in Oregon during COVId. If your comfortable dining outside on your trip to Sedona, this is likely the same or lower risk for you. read more

I have been to three different escape rooms, all in the Phoenix area. I was skeptical that it would be comparable to a big city escape room, being in such a small town. This was my fourth escape room ever and it was by far my most favorite! I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience and can't wait to go back and do it again! read more

We chose to do this escape room when the original activity we had planned on fell through. I've done about 4 or 5 escape rooms in the past but the rest of my crew (ranging in age from 14 to 75) were all newbies. It was challenging and althoughwe didn't make it out in time,the experience was top notch! The owner/game master was super cool and their puzzles were more creative and interesting than any others I've encountered. I would highly recommend checking them out if ever in the Cottonwood, Sedona, Jerome area. You won't be disappointed! read more

We visited the Constant Evolution Escape Room today to celebrate my granddaughter's 16th birthday. We tried the Double Crossed room and although we weren't successful in solving the puzzle and stealing the relic, we had a blast!!! I highly recommend this venue - we have been to an escape room in Phoenix and this one was far superior!! Steve and Ryan were excellent hosts and I plan on coming back soon with my women's group. After we got home we couldn't stop talking about what fun it was and my two grandkids came up with some great scenarios of other rooms they might try. Absolutely fantastic! This was our second ever Escape Room experience (the first being in Phoenix) and this was a serious upgrade over the first room we did. Witty puzzles made this challenging yet extremely fun. We would've needed an extra 10 minutes to finish on time, but the fail was on us, not them ;) The puzzles were all solvable if you use your brain juice:) I recommend a group of 4-6 for best results! Today was our first time with the escape room experience. The owners, Shawn and Ryan, were very friendly and helpful with instruction. I have now done 38 escape rooms! And this room and the owners and environment I was able to experience was incredible!! The two people that own and run the place are passionate and really good at what they do! Not only do they run their rooms, but they also design, engineer and make every puzzle! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The room was definitely in my top 5! There was plenty in that room that impressed me and made me thrilled and anxious to go back and do their other room and more to come in the future!! Everyone, go try out their rooms!!! read more
