Their showroom was well stocked with many fully functional insert units that we could "test drive" the unit we selected. Builders installation crew of Dan and Chad are true professionals and did an outstanding job. Why anyone would decide to contract with another supplier is beyond me. I expressed my concern about carbon monoxide poisoning and was asked by their staff if I have a carbon monoxide detector which of course I do, however, I would feel safer having a stove that doesn't pump carbon monoxide into my home. I feel this shouldn't be a concern with a relatively new stove installed by their company. We have only used the stove for 4 months during the winter. Builders Wholesale says it will cost me a service charge to send out a technician or if I purchase a gasket and glue from their business myself it will be $50 ++ to replace short amount of gasket and adhesive!! Please be aware of the Vermont Castings wood stove "Dauntless " poor quality before purchasing. In addition all of the handles on the stove repeatedly loosen up and have to be tightened on a regular basis. Stove cost us $8,200 for unit, chimney, and installation . We never questioned the price or tried to get a deal. I feel it's sad that Builders Wholesale can't even give us a little bit of glue and new gasket seal so we can repair it ourselves. They were very friendly during the purchase but not so much when asking about a warranty. Very disappointing.

We were told the leak had been fixed and that we were getting a deal of the century. Well today we found out the septic tank still leaks! According to Mark it's too bad us and he will not do anything about it. My boyfriend is a senior on a fixed income. He now has to pay to remove the septic tank, (probably renting a crane!) find a place to put the septic tank and buy a new one. I would not refer this place to my worse enemy. Inconsistent quality, number one has been double and triple thick flakes making it hard to feed…read moreproper without over feeding. Lots of rocks in last few loads. Over feeding cost a lot of money, wasteful and frustrating. Loose baled from the farm, with fat double and triple thick flakes that fall apart when trying to separate flakes to reduce waste, inturn dropping loose thick steamed Alfalfa all over ground, doubling work load having to rake up piles and put in wheel barrel to carry over a few acres to get everyone fed. They don't seem to care and a few of the office staff are rude and treat the loader staff like children calling them "boys" when they are are actually nice young men, working hard giving better customer service than the "customer service cashier" I used to tell people about "hayplus" a couple years ago, not anymore. They must have changed the farmers they used to buy from or someone is placing number 2 in the number 1 barn, where they have stacks of mixed cow hay in the number 1 squeeze. When we spend thousands of dollars on feed we expect better quality when we think we are purchasing number one we expect number one, not dry dusty overgrown, thick steamed Alfalfa with purple flowers, that has little protein nutrition because the farmer waited to long to cut and bale. Quality matters when animals depend on proper nutrition to grow and feed their young, this kind of Alfalfa reduces milk production and the animals are not satisfied, needing additional supplements costing more than it would with quality number one they used to sell. Very disappointing and frustrating to spend so much money on low quality feed.
