The prices are fair and on par with what we've seen in other record stores and online! They also sell AV equipment and accessories, so it's not solely records being sold. In speaking with one of the staff members, it seems as though they are more than happy to special order any specific albums upon request, which is so nice! I strongly recommend stopping by, and cannot wait to return for more music!

I often have driven by the LP Café and been impressed with its appearance. This weekend, we decided to pay it a visit to check it out, and we were not disappointed. The owner and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The selection of vinyl is impressive, especially if you want limited edition or recent pressings of albums. They don't seem to be deep into vintage vinyl, but I think that is a wise choice in this trending neighborhood, where the younger people may be more interested in current releases. The older vinyl options that they had were in excellent condition, and they even had a bargain box selection that was very, very good! Overall, you can tell that the owner and staff have a passion for this. unfortunately, we were in a bit of a hurry, and did not stay for coffee, but I'll bet it's great. The aromas are fantastic. The store seem to be very busy while we were there, but the owner states that recently it has been a little slow - if you're reading my review, it would be great if you would help this wonderful local business out and pay them a visit. Since I was there, I decided to peruse the selections of vinyl records for sale. They had a lot of really cool inventory, and even though I am not really a collector of records, I do still have some from when I was younger, and it was cool to see certain selections that I currently own, and the price that they are selling for. Greg the owner was awesome as I checked out him and I got to talking definitely a great dude with a great store with a great vibe. He was playing some groovy music that I was really vibing to as I looked through what the crates. This branch of New Dimension Comics is located in the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, a very dead…read moremall. Easiest way to find the store is to use Entry 2 between the MAC.BID and former JCPenney. New Dimension Comics is not just one storefront, it's three storefronts. When you enter the main storefront, the first room is full of longboxes, new pull books, wall books and toys. They have an extensive selection of new pull books surrounding half the room and several tables of longboxes. Another room has all the gaming items. The most impressive room is the last room. They have, by their count, an estimated 800,000 one-dollar comic books. The books are unorganized so the rooms a little overwhelming at first and you basically have to pick a box and start digging. I love dollar books and could have spent a whole day just digging through them. This branch of New Dimension Comics is arguably the best comic book store in the state. It's also the best mall comic book store I've ever seen, as they focus on comics and are not just a pop culture store. This store is a must visit and worth going out of the way for.

He realized we were coming in and jumped up to turn the lights on and get set up and put on music (which was uncomfortably loud, my friend couldn't hear what I was saying). He didn't really know a lot about the records when we asked him about a few. We dug through some of the records and there was a lot of rock & roll. A lot. There was a section purely for Elvis. There was a deeply neglected hip-hop section, and an even emptier electronic and jazz section. the prices were okay, but the labeling for the pressings have a tendency to be wrong, so make sure you don't get spoofed.

On the lower crates are .50-3.00 albums it's almost the typical stuff with a couple of different label releases. I found an album that was on Atco and that one was boogered, then I found the same that was on Atlantic that was +vg If you want specific original albums that are classified correctly, this would be the place. No bullshit on terre haute pressings or other specific pressings. Its definitely the real deal. I found some strange albums there. Downfall would be, access to the place. It's kinda hidden. Customer service blows! And you have to pay for parking. Enjoy!

Mike's Record Emporium," and it is located at 416 Washington Ave. in CARNEGIE, Zip: 15106 This place is a new Record Store / Pop Culture / Skill Games business. They have about three rooms on the second floor to peruse (See photos). They have really cool stuff for sale, and it is decorated like a museum, with lots of musical memorabilia (a bunch of it autographed). They even had a Monkees T-Shirt for sale from a show that I attended at Stage AE, exactly 12 years ago. Highly recommend this shop . . . BIG Cheers!!!!!
