Firefly was busy and there was a pop-up outside at the time of my visit. The interior is vibey and has a great ambiance. There are plenty of seating. They also have a small market with local goods for sale. The staff greeted me when I made it to the counter. I ordered an iced firefly glow latte, which is one of their house specials. It comes with espresso, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, sea salt, and Jigsaw collagen boost. The collagen boost adds 8g of protein, which is a nice addition. I really enjoyed the drink. My go-to order is a honey cinnamon latte, and the firefly glow is basically the same with some fun additions. I also purchased a half gallon of local raw milk for my teenage son. He's been on a raw milk kick and was very grateful when I brought it home. I would definitely return!

I've gotten the same drink all three times I've come here - an iced vanilla oat milk matcha latte. It has consistently been the same, which is hard to find these days! That's $3.60 more than I usually pay when the young man at the window couldn't explain to me why it was so much more he brought over somebody else and he just told me that's how what it is now. Explanation was because we have to add more for caramel $3.60. Are you serious? You're gonna charge me $3.60 the amount of a regular coffee extra. Will needless to say I did not take the coffee and I will absolutely never go back. There are too many coffee spots around town they don't try to rip you off. And honestly depending on who makes it half the time it's not right anyway so you're paying for something that you have to throw away but you'd rather not complain. But now today was just the icing on the cake. Black Rock, you need to train your employees a little differently as they're not the best I have seen I will miss a couple of the employees that are there that I do appreciate and that make my coffee correct. I will be sure to go to Dutch Bros/Starbucks/10 other coffee shops around. Also be sure that you give them your phone number because a lot of times they forget to ask and you lose out on those free drinks that take 15 coffees to get one.

This place is next to a pilates or yoga studio... makes sense to have a smoothie/acai/matcha whathaveyou nearby. Walking in, everything looks like it's made of plastic - the "brick", the "stone", the "plants", the "tile", the "wood". No welcome when we walked in either, but there was only one employee behind the counter, so we decided to sit up at the bar top where three other lululemon ladies were also sitting, thinking we'd make it easier on the gal working. The employee continued behind the counter, not acknowledging us, leaving us to admire the really freaking weird tv channel from 1990 that was playing on silent in the corner. She finally advised we use the QR code for the menu (which is using the word "organic" so often that I was starting to question the spelling of "organic"). Anyway, service = not friendly. She seemed super over it. Ok, yeah me too, so we put in our order and settled in while she bustled around for what felt like a very long time. I mostly spent my time accidentally kneeing the rock facade on the edge of the bar and wishing there were paper towels in their warm bathroom. By the time our acai bowls were ready, we'd decided that maybe the vibes weren't as immaculate here like they wanted us to believe and took the bowls to go. After all that time and money, these acai bowls were awfully bland. What's worse is that I was so hungry that I ate about half of it before I finally admitted that I didn't like the thing that my partner paid way too much money for. Well, good thing I said something because he took them both and mercifully tossed 'em. Don't waste your money unless you're only in it for the insta/snap/group chat. And even if you are, then I can promise that there are better choices out there than this to spend your disposable income on.
