Not worth the hype! The waffle is very dry and not sticky and soft in the middle like how real liege waffles should be! I ordered a waffle with ice cream and the girl just ripped open a prepackaged little bag and plopped a pre-shaped ball of ice cream on the waffle... I was like wtf! It was like the same quality as the lowest quality store bought ice cream in between a prepackaged ice cream sandwich. So disappointed!! They are getting a lot of attention due to shark tank but With anything trying to scale corners are cut and quality and taste goes down. The best authentic liege waffle shop in the states is Wafflallonia in Pittsburgh PA. Otherwise gotta go to Europe to find the tasty ones... Very disappointed with this place! read more

We ordered the the "home" waffle with strawberries, cookie butter and whipped cream (we didn't have the Nutella since we have s nut allergy). Also, we got the lemon and blueberry waffle. ONE OF THE BEST WAFFLES OF ALL TIME. It's a tad pricy, but the house waffle is SO DANG GOOD. I love it. The waffle is PERFECT. There's this sugary crunch on it that makes it extra special!!! It comes with whipped cream, NUTELLA, and cookie butter (which I could do without because I'm not a cookie butter person - sorryyyy - but the waffle is still good none the less) and fresh strawberries!! I've also had the lemon curd with blueberry one which was also BOMB, but I def just prefer the house one. I haven't had any savory ones yet. But I love love love their house waffle! We were so excited to try this place but the waffles were the worst ones we've ever had in our life, literally! I've had some crispy waffles now but, these were as hard as a brick and no I'm not exaggerating at all. I couldn't even stab it with the knife, while we were trying to cut thru it, it was like we were sawing a piece of wood. My family and I wanted so badly to have waffles today. We had a few questions - about the Ft Worth opening date, flavor options, etc. and tried all morning to find a phone number (website does not have a phone number listed). Finally found it posted elsewhere and tried calling multiple times. Always no answer. Customers need to ask questions. Is it too much to have someone available for customer calls? We ended up going someone else. I'm sure your food is wonderful, but from a business standpoint, opportunity missed. Maybe another day. As luck would have it they are just down the road at Legacy Hall. My daughter had the Happy Camper (s'mores) and I had the House (strawberries and Nutella). I added bananas. These aren't even close to authentic Liege or Belgian style waffles. They are a step above an Eggo but it's clear to this experienced waffle maker they don't even have a clear conception of what a Liege or Belgian waffle is. According to their Kickstarter campaign the owners were inspired by a waffle they had in Edinburgh, Scotland and over the next four years worked on their recipe. Not once did they mention in their funding campaign that they spent any time in Belgium or Benelux learning the finer points of Belgian waffle making. The failure of doing so clearly shows in the results. While these waffles may impress the Eggo and iHOP crowd they aren't even close to the taste, texture and quality of a real Liege waffle. The owners consider that their waffles are at 95% of what they should be but having eaten 100s of these in Belgium and Benelux over the last 40 years and working on and refining my recipe and process since 1992, this expert believes they're 50% of the quality they should be. But in all fairness they might have nailed the Scottish waffle down pat. read more

Yum! Yum! Yum! The location is in a building that houses several small kitchens with each offering a variety of foods. You can take the family and everyone will find something they like. However the Press Waffle Company is indeed one of the gems in that facility. I tried the strawberry, peanut butter, Nutella waffle for dessert. We took it to go and ate it a couple of hours after our dinner. It held together beautifully and we loved every bite. One night for dinner my daughter had the chicken and waffles. She really enjoyed it. The portions are on the generous side. We shared the dessert among three of us. Most of all the employees are awesome. We went to this facility to eat everyday during the week we were in Dallas. The variety alone means you never have to eat more then once at the same place over the span of a week. Regardless of if we ordered at this waffle place or not the employees remembered us and details about our likes. Considering the number of people they serve each day their ability to recall us in such detail was awesome. Keep up the great work! read more

As a Belgian with an affinity for Belgian desserts and pastries, I give this place at Legacy Hall a solid 5 stars. My wife mentioned I was from Belgium and after ordering a plain waffle (how we normally eat it back home), they immediately offered to wrap it in paper, again how we normally do it. Yes, I'd maybe cook it 30 seconds more and yes I'd love to have more pearl sugars in there but this made me remember Belgium and all its dessert glory. It was a good 30 min wait on a Saturday but it was definitely worth it.
