Sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese.
    Charles W.

Just had fasting labs done and I was ready for some coffee and breakfast. Did a search for nearby bagels and Benny's popped up. Nice little place with chill music and really friendly service. I went with my usual sesame bagel with a schmear of veggie cream cheese. I received a fresh bagel with a nice chew and tasty cream cheese. The coffee (choices were Benny's Blend (which I tried) and Southern Pecan) was good also. Definitely was a good choice today for breakfast.

Do not order through door dash from this store. I ordered a breakfast bagel on door dash and a toasted bagel with cream cheese. The breakfast bagel was a dry egg cake and the protein option selected was not added. Literally a dry bagel with a dry cake of flavorless egg. No cheese as described, no protein as ordered. On top of that, the bagel with cream cheese was cold when it was ordered toasted and there was so much cream cheese I had to remove it and had enough for a small container. If you are not willing to give your door dash customers the same level of service and care as your walk ins, don't take door dash! This was awful product and service! You should be embarrassed!

Great bagels. Our favorite. Friendly staff and quick service. A must stop when we come to town.

Bagels are fantastic! Everything they do here is fresh and quick. My wife and I got the breakfast Benny and a bagel with cream cheese which was about $15 but honestly worth every penny! This place needs more love!

Good service and it wasn't very busy on a Saturday morning. Seemed like a local spot so that was nice. interior is a little dated. But the bagels were fresh. Had the healthy riser and Benny's breakfast. Would like to go back and try other menu items.

The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it's a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it's the reason we won't be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn't speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.

Super patient with us, answered all of our questions, made recommendations, and very attentive. Will ask for her again. The menu was a cornucopia of drinks and eats that sound amazing. We had the pimento cheese spread, two orders of the chicken fried steak and two orders of redfish. Everything was spectacular. We can't wait to go try other items on the menu. While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Nice building and staff working hard - just set your expectations accordingly.

It was our first time here, and we appreciated the suggestions we received from Will. We each ordered the Retro plate, fresh pressed OJ, and the cinnamon iced biscuits. All of the food was great! The restaurant itself looked & felt clean, the bathroom was perfectly clean, we loved all the windows letting in the sunshine. There's also patio seating available, that we'll come back to enjoy on a cooler fall morning.
