Upon walking in, the interior was so beautiful. It was nicely decorated and they had a little store full of local artists and vendors. They were pretty busy but the workers were incredibly friendly. However, the wait took 30 minutes after ordering to get my coffee. I don't want to say it was an understaffing issue as I saw three people making drinks behind the counter, so I'm not sure why it took so long. Luckily, I was looking at the shop for most of the time so it wasn't too bad waiting. They apologized after my drink came out and walked my drink over to where I was sitting. It's a cozy café with lots of cute merch like mugs, stickers, bags, and little gifts to browse while you wait. It's been a year since I reviewed P+F, and I didn't think it was possible, but I think I love this spot MORE now than I did last year! :) I come in at least once a month by myself or with friends/family and let me tell you... the beautiful owner of this spot and the baristas deliver the most amazing customer service! They are ALL so kind, genuine, and attentive and go out of their way to make sure you're taken care of. One of the sweet barista ladies always remembers my order. I appreciate that. I also can't stop buying the leather/suede earrings they sell there from one of their local vendors.... and their ridiculously delicious quiche!! Like, what?! OBSESSED! Oh, and the coffee? I've been excited to try this place, but since they close early I never had a chance to. I had a seasonal churro matcha. Honestly, it was just okay. The "churro" aspect was just a ton of cinnamon on top it seems. But since it didn't mix with the liquid I was getting mouthfuls of dry cinnamon no matter how hard I tried to mix it. I'll try a more traditional flavor next time. I also had a chocolate croissant that was very flakey and pleasant. I definitely recommend having it warmed. I'm a matcha drinker so I always on the hunt for great matcha. I love their matcha latte here - they use Mitzuba matcha which is a great source. It also depends on how much matcha you put in and how you make it. I've had the matcha latte here at least twice and it's consistent so far. It's not weak and you can always tell from the matcha green color as well if it's a great one. Staff was kind and brought the drinks to the customers when they were walking around looking at the merchandise. People came in and sat down and gather together sipping their drinks. It tells that this cafe is one of the places that people would come hang and feel comfortable being there as their 2nd home. Games are available for people to take and play during their visit. My second visit and I approve. The coffee is good here, it has depth and quality. Also, a fair and tasty 12 oz for a regular latte. The space is charming and the restrooms are clean. I am a little disappointed that after 2 dine in visits, my lattes have not been in mugs. Also, while the water is in a convenient location the sugar/napkins are almost at ground level. But there was only one person working but she did her best. One thing I liked about this spot was that they had games to entertain yourself while you wait or drink your coffee. I try to support local businesses as much as possibly, but sadly a lot of the local coffee shops I've gone to pray on the addictiveness of coffee along with the allure of a trendy shop to get away with producing overpriced, mediocre, watery coffee. Happy to find out that P + F both succeeds in offering a trendy, workable space AS WELL AS strong coffee. They offer a variety of drinks with interesting non artifical syrups, the coffee is strong. The space is versatile, there's a private bar in the back, tables in center for groups and a nook in the corner for quieter convos or solo reading. The space is filled with niche art and trinkets for purchase including mugs, stickers, magnets, tote bags etc.. It seems like they work with local vendors too. For example, I went for Valentine's Day and they had a combo deal where you buy flowers from a local vendor (already prepared, in store) and it included a coffee on them. The music is very low. The owner took my order, and they were very kind, attentive and enthusiastic about their business and what they offered/ how they operated. The only thing that made me pause; the outside seating was not very developed. It's a ~6 x 6 sq ft of artificial grass with 1 singular table, 3 chairs, no shade, unsectioned from the sidewalk. This is the best little cafe in downtown Azusa! They have incredible lattes, delicious bagels, and a wonderful seating area to study if needed. All of the food you order comes beautifully plated. The bagels are big and a perfect quick meal. The sandwiches come with little pickles and chips when you dine in. The CINNAMON HONEY LATTE is my favorite hot (SO good!) and I love that they have carafes of water for everyone to just grab and take to their table. While waiting at Costco to put gas I decided to check my nearby bookmarks. Low and behold Pressed Flower Coffee has a review today! There was no hours posted so I decided to take my chances and make my way there. When I passed by I saw people inside so immediately parked. I noticed they had a sign for their hours but it was blank. I opened the door but it was locked! A young gal waived and told me to wait. Score! She mentioned they had their soft opening today and they closed early at 3pm but she definitely wanted to serve me. Talk about outstanding customer service! Upon walking in I immediately saw gorgeous flower arrangements, a fridge full of drinks and snacks and beautiful hand made items good for gifting. I didn't feel rushed, the owner took her time to describe every dessert to me. Mentioned she can make any drink for me and to not worry because they were already closed. I noticed behind the tea/coffee counter they had things to make drinks look pretty! Rose petals, fried mini roses, flowers, dried orange slices and if you know me, you know I'm ALL about pretty drinks! They are still on their soft opening stages. So in a couple of months they will be at full inventory with more item goods, sandwiches, cereal and salads. Once fully operating their hours will be 7am-7pm. This boutique is what downtown Azusa was missing! I'm so glad I got to celebrate their first day with them! read more

Walked into the shop and they have so many cute items for sale! Walked up to the counter and was greeted with so much joy and energy. The barista was so kind and helpful (didn't get his name, darn). I got something from the holiday menu - the cinnamon roll. I told him I was allergic to cinnamon and he said "I can make it without cinnamon". So it ended up as a brown sugar latte with vanilla and condensed milk. It was good! They were so accommodating. Walked around the store and admired the decor. Sooo cute. They also have a citrus espresso tonic here which I can't find anywhere else, and they make it PERFECTLY. I've tried other coffee shops in the city and this is by far the best one. Pressed + Flower is a cute and large coffee shop, they sell handmade goods from local artists and there's usually a take a book leave a book station although it wasn't there this visit. I come for their seasonal drinks usually, this time they had the holiday/winter menu and I had a hard time choosing between 4 of the drinks because they all sounded so good. I ended up getting the gingerbread cold brew which tastes great but I was really disappointed by the tiny tiny amount of cold foam on top. I was questioning if it was even there at all, it was basically a super thin layer of bubbles on top. My partner got the matcha latte which is always good. Their drinks are not sweet at all which is great for us, but if you like your drinks on the sweeter side make sure you tell them that. My non-seasonal go to is the brown sugar cinnamon latte. The drinks do take a while to come out, it's not the fastest shop, which is fine because it's a nice place to hang out just don't go when you're in a hurry. They charge for alt milks which I really hate, that's almost always going to be 1 star less from me. More and more shops are not charging for oat/almond/soy and those are my favorite places. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and I'll definitely be back in the spring for the berries and cream matcha latte if it comes back from last year! read more

I stopped by yesterday for the first time. This coffee boutique is very trendy and cute. They have free coffee grounds near the entrance to take home for your garden. They also have plants displayed for sale. The barista was very sweet and helpful. She recommended me a Rose Matcha Latte with Oat Milk + a Turkey Brie Sandwich for lunch. Both items were delicious. You can taste the quality in the matcha. The sandwich was flavorful and crispy. The sandwich also came with a side of chips. The chips were crunchy.
