I stopped by this coffee shop around 10 AM, and it was busy lots of people working on their laptops. The coffee drinks are great! I tried their seasonal Dubai Latte, and it was really good. The food is also delicious. I ordered a sandwich, which came with potato sticks it instantly reminded me of my childhood when I used to eat Pik-Nik. I highly recommend trying the spinach and cheese croissant! The only downside is the seating one person tends to take up an entire table, making it hard to find a spot. Also, parking was a challenge; I had a hard time finding a spot. read more

Came there for their matcha, I had came here before and the matcha was pretty good and decent. But upon coming here today and orderng the exact same thing i had ordered before, it was awfully disappointing. they changed the matcha quality and it just taste like grainy sand, which was confusing. Although their decor and staff are friendly, I would not recommend coming back to this place, as I will not be returning. There is parking on the street but otherwise no parking. Edit: I understand the owner did reply stating that is was a shortage and they had changed the formula, it is disappointing/interesting and surprising to know that they don't quality check and just sell to consumers something that is a different version that may not be really drinkable (granular sand?). And also, despite the shortage, there are still some on sale, they're more expensive yes, but alternatively to cheap out and replace with a crappier version, charging the same, no notification, and then be surprised with customer reviews badly after they're called out is sad. There was no notice of the change on the menu or at the shop. I'd like to get messaged once the matcha shipment is back to give it a retry, but this was a honest disappointment of an visit to see their quality going down. From the moment you walk in you feel the heartbeat of this little spot from their affirmation wall, to the local arts and crafts they have for sale, to the love they put in their drinks and food. Service wonderful for a coffee shop and makes you realize how a little personality can make your morning coffee better. The food came out hot and in good timing as did our drinks. I tried the banana cream matcha latte and it was great. Let me also so the verity of macha drinks was amazing. My girlfriend got the pumpkin latte which was also amazing. We also got the mushroom quiche and the spinach fetus pastry. We loved them so much we got an extra set to go for the next morning. This is probably one of the best matcha spot I've tried so far. They use ceremonial grade matcha and you can actually taste it. I got the lavender matcha, turkey croissant, cheese bagel and lemonade for my kids. Everything was really good and I would def come back. The inside has a really chill vibe too. read more

This berry butter latte is supposed to have berry flavored syrup topped with a peanut butter cold foam. It's like a peanut butter and jelly latte! Despite not tasting much of the berry flavor, the peanut butter cold foam is sooo so good. It's sweet and savory, with a very strong flavor that gradually melts into the latte as you sip it. The drink is also quite sweet, so if you're not into that, I suggest going half sweet! Date & Ginger Scone w/ Matcha Frosting (3/5) I'm not a fan of ginger or scones, but wanted to give this a go. I'm still not a fan, but I appreciated the fact that the ginger bits weren't overpowering. Dates add a bit of moisture back into it, but it's still very scone-y! Rec if you like scones lol. Ambiance (5/5) I love local coffee shops that actually have space for you to sit and work or hang out! I couldn't see any outlets, but I was sitting in the middle of the cafe so that's likely why. They offer free used coffee grounds for your garden and they have a little community board! The baristas are very kind and from the conversations they were having with people who seem to be regulars, their service is stellar on the regular. The coffee is good, the matcha is better, and the seasonal selections are always delightful. The baristas are always helpful and detailed when I have questions about menu items. I love the little items for sale around the shop - so definitely check them out! It's not quite not Kansas anymore, but it's a very refreshing experience. The inside area is amazing. Then the second inside area is so cool. Then the outside back area isn't amazing but it's definitely a place that serves its purpose. One restroom I tried was very clean and very acceptable. The two team members were very nice and genuine. One came in to work and then started sweeping - where do you see that anywhere these days. Usually you see everyone just leaning around, but this place isn't that way. I try matchas almost everywhere I go but this is the best matcha I've had! Period! Every single time I go, it's consistently this amazing bright green color and the matcha flavor is extremely strong. Came in with one of my gal pals for some post hike refreshments and what an adorable coffee spot this is! Farmhouse chic vibes with rustic furniture and cozy decor - not to mention the yummy lattes and pastries! I loved the flower motif everywhere - even their water station was decked out lol! They have a decent seasonal flavors menu and we couldn't resist - so we tried the Pandan De Coco latte and a Honeycomb latte. The Honeycomb Latte is honey, vanilla, and salt and the flavors are light with the vanilla being the prominent tone. The Pandan De Coco is Pandan and coconut with a strong coconut that sort of drowns out the Pandan but they're complimentary flavors and I enjoyed it. They have a large selection of pastries and they all looked delectable- it was so hard to decide. They even had banana bread! But the raspberry cheese danish and almond croissants caught my eye so I took one of each to go - both ended up being fantastic - excellent flavors and perfect textures. The pastries are huge and were more than enough to share with my hubby. My friend got one of the ricotta pastries that also had dates in it and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff said their baked goods come from an LA favorite: Bread Lounge - so I don't think you can go wrong on the pastries here! Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Order at the counter and they'll bring it out to you. Prices are what you'd expect for the area. Definitely a comfy quiet place for a chat over coffee - or to come study or get some work done - plenty of comfy seating and large tables. Parking is street parking around the area and abundant on the weekdays. I enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back to try more latte flavors! read more

Wanted to pick up a drink as I was in the area for an appointment (first time in Azusa actually) and found this coffee shop that serves matcha lattes! I would choose a matcha latte over an espresso drink any day so when I saw they sell a banana pudding matcha latte, I was intrigued and had to try it. According to the barista, it's not a cream top but is a blend of condensed milk and banana flavoring that's mixed in with the matcha. I felt a cream top style would've done the drink more justice. The banana part was very light and you only get a hint of it which was unfortunate. The matcha was okay and with the milk, it seemed to lose its taste. It was okay for a pricey drink ($6.50). Free street parking and a spacious store that also sells plants. Not sure if it's the manager (a woman), but it was a bit awkward when she started to criticize an employee on the side where everyone can hear her. read more

Before driving up to Angeles Crest we stopped by to get coffee at this cute cafe. It's spacious and comfortable with a lot of indoor seating and some outdoor. Great customer service and coffee. I ordered an iced coffee with brown sugar and cinnamon and asked them to make it with less sugar than they usually do. It was delicious. I enjoyed it much. My husband got a cappuccino and said it's probably one of the best ones he had in a while. They sell handmade products such as candles, jewelry, pottery and more. I saw the cutest things to get as presents or even for myself. I got this delicious smelling soy candle with dried flowers. A great coffee shop check it out when in the area. read more

Upon walking in, the interior was so beautiful. It was nicely decorated and they had a little store full of local artists and vendors. They were pretty busy but the workers were incredibly friendly. However, the wait took 30 minutes after ordering to get my coffee. I don't want to say it was an understaffing issue as I saw three people making drinks behind the counter, so I'm not sure why it took so long. Luckily, I was looking at the shop for most of the time so it wasn't too bad waiting. They apologized after my drink came out and walked my drink over to where I was sitting.
