I came on a good day though as they had just released the new matcha line and had gotten a chance to sample them all. Now, I love matcha! The flavors were pretty good but the almond matcha definitely stood out for me the most. That hint of cinnamon at the end reminded me of an early Christmas morning with each sip. -As others have pointed out the price range can be fairly high. But, I ask those people how much do you spend at Starbucks or Jamba Juice for example? The prices are set to match the ingredients that are put inside. -The service has always been really good and I enjoy the friendly personality of the staff. -My favorite so far is the citrus 2 (pineapple, Apple, lemon, and mint) it's delicious! *As for others who drink way too much alcohol as I do try the drink with the activated charcoal. I found a new love. Ice cream alternative - the juice freeze. The pressed juice place is located around the corner from shirokiya, on the ocean side ewa wing lower level of ala moana. My favorite thing here had to be the vanilla freeze. I tried the juice cleanse 1 (for beginners), as an idea for meal substitutes while I'm unable to cook for myself due to some injuries. I made it one day of the cleanse and the first bottle of the second day and called it quits. I'll first note I was previously on a very low carb with a calorie restriction of 1200 calories. This set of juices for two days was $99+tax, and is 1520 calories, high in natural juice based carbs and sugars from the juice.-- The bottle 4 (citrus 2) had the highest sugars and carbs at 58g carbs,48g sugars for the bottle. Although these were all tasty, the ones I enjoyed most were the vanilla almond and chocolate almond, but then again, I love creamy drinks. Although the cleanse 1 didn't make me feel good- headaches from the extra sugar I'm not used to- and some weight gain, I do like an individual freeze every now and then as a cold treat on a hot day! read more

I gave it 4 instead of a 5 because there's a limit of three toppings that are included in the price of the freeze. Extra toppings cost more. It used to be unlimited toppings. Also the amount of freeze you get differs depending on who is helping you. Sometimes I get very, very little freeze. So little, the freeze barely reaches the top of the cup. I really love their hot drinks as well as the signature blends. I like all the juices, although the ones with ginger are a little too spicy for me. I used to look forward to the freezes, but my 13 year old frugal daughter said it's not worth it anymore. Better off drinking the greens. You get more for your money. Had to try this place after my friend raved about their vanilla almond milk soft serve. They are located at Ala Moana shopping center further past Shirokiya across from Foodland Farms. I honestly probably passed by this place before without noticing it just because of the location. They offer refrigerators of pre made healthy juice blends or have soft serve flavors which you can choose the size and 3 toppings. Not a big fan of spending $8 on juice so I opted for the vanilla soft serve and topped it with blueberries, toasted coconut, and almond butter. I wish I could've added more toppings! The soft serve was good and it was nice feeling like I was eating a healthy dessert but at the same time I felt like it was missing something? Or similar to that sense of eating sugar free jello or low fat ice cream. Part me of felt if I was gonna splurge on dessert it should be as creamy as regular ice cream for froyo. i've been meaning to try pressed and was so excited when i heard we had one in hnl! it's on level one of ala moana right by shirokiya. i haven't tried the juices yet, but i did get the freeze. i have a sweet tooth but frozen yogurt (like yogurtland) was always kinda too much for me. so i've been looking forward to trying something outside of that. at pressed i got the vanilla freeze in size 1 with cacao drizzle, almond butter, and strawberries. so good. not mind-numbingly sweet, very filling (but doesn't drag you down) and it feels so good to know something so delicious is vegan! my total was around 7 dollars which i expected it to be around. staff was very nice and accommodating. when i was signing up for their rewards program (free juice on your bday month) i was so out of it cause i hadn't eaten today and the boy at the register was super understanding of my mental fog. i definitely recommend this place. just keep in mind that they don't have anywhere to sit in the store, it's grab and go. this is going to be a place i come back to often. read more

I tried Pressed for the very first time, and I was NOT impressed. Upon walking in, they were sold out of most of their juices. I decided to order a bowl, btw a small bowl is almost $8 which is two small swirls of soft serve. I got the super greens. Let me tell you, I have not tasted anything that bland. It had a horrible after taste and was comparable to rabbit pellets. Almost as if it was spoiled/rotten. The blueberries and pineapple went well with the greens while the coconut flakes and cacao drizzle complemented the fruit freeze. Also tried their vanilla coffee. so I love this shop. I come here anytime I want something tasty yet healthy. The juices here are awesome and they have a ton of variety. They're split into categories; greens, roots, citrus, almond milk, hot drinks, etc. I personally love citrus 2 and 3, and greens 2 and 3. Some of the juices seem to be high in sugar but they taste good and are pretty nutritious. It may seem expensive at first but they usually have some sort of special going on, 3 for $17, 5 for $25, etc. The original price doesn't matter so get whatever you want(almond milk are like $9). They also have a froyo here which is pretty good. You can get toppings like candied strawberries, shaved chocolate, pineapple, etc. Also sign up for their rewards, it's tracked by phone number but I've received 5 or 6 free juices already. read more

The Pressed Juicery is located on Street Level of Ala Moana, just Makai(south) of the entrance to the Shirokiya Street Walk, just around the corner before you get to the Bloomingdale's Street-Level entrance. I do have to say, I'm not thoroughly convinced of the whole, "juice-cleanse" thing that Pressed Juicery or any of the other juiceries suggest for your health - I think that's what water, your liver and kidneys are for, provided you don't overwork them to cirrhosis. They do offer Alkaline-Water though. That said, I do like the juices, and for that, in and of itself, I am a fan. I've started to cut myself off of everyday soda, to the point where soda now makes me sick, and I feel I'm all the better off for it. I do enjoy, however drinking teas, coffees, real fruit juice, and the occasional water during my day. Pressed Juicery makes a great drink treat. The Strawberry-Apple-Lime seems to be a good drink for me; the Apple-Lemon-Ginger-Cayenne; I probably could do without. All of the combinations seem to be built around making sure that the health benefits of each drink are apparent. If you got dry-heave problems, hey, this is the place for you - Ginger is in almost everything! Feeling irregular? Go for the greens; the Kale drinks will clean that right out. Memberships are available, although it takes some investment into the drinks, and the requirements for joining (email and telephone number) seem to indicate that they're expecting you to be in it for the long-haul with them. Juice Cleanses, as I understand, are a long, drawn-out endeavor, so it may take some money and effort on your part, just to even get ... "cleansed"? Love this place. Every few months I like to do a 3-5 day juice cleanse and of all the ones I've done, Pressed is a repeat for me. You can sign up for their VIP membership which auto deducts a minimum of $10 from you a month and adds it to your VIP account. This money can then be saved or used immediately towards your purchase which are discounted for VIP members. They frequently have deals on 6 juice cleanses (slightly higher in Hawaii) but still comparable if not less to the boxed juice cleanses you can purchase at the store. All juices are cold pressed to keep all the nutrients intact. During non-Covid times, you can sample all of the juices to creat the combo you like best. The lemonades are great and sweetened with Monk fruit. They also offer soft serve "freezes" which is a healthy ice cream alternative. Once upon a time I watched a documentary on Netflix and became convinced that the key to a healthy, vibrant existence was drinking green juice all day erry day. Or at least once a day. So I acquired two juicers and I would trek out (by trek I mean drive my car) to the farmer's market weekly to spend a small fortune on greens and veggies that I would have to wedge into my refrigerator with the precision of something very precise. My first juicer was a Breville. Fast but wasteful and inferior. So I invested, by suggestion of a raw food dude on youtube, in a Green Star juicer and it squeezed every last drop and took eons. Literally. Exactly three and a half eons. It also required a peculiarly unexpected amount of physical effort to operate. And another half eon to clean. SO. Weary of devoting every square inch of my fridge and at least an hour and a half to juicing, I decided to buy my juice from elsewhere. Elsewhere was expensive. Elsewhere charged me $10-$12 for 12-16oz of juice. SO. I stopped drinking juice. Until Pressed Juicery appeared and changed my life with their freezes and juice specials and affordable cleanses. Not that I am particularly good at cleanses but sometimes I like to purchase one and pretend I'm going to do it all the way through and be vibrant and healthy forever and ever. You can sample their juices. Some of them are delicious. Some of them taste like health. Which tastes like grass and beets. But they are good for you. I have a particular affinity for Greens 2. I LOVE their freezes. My personal favorite (versus my impersonal favorite, obviously) is the vanilla with sea salt, almond butter, cacao drizzle, and chocolate chips. The store is bright and clean. I tried a Greens 3 juice (kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon, and ginger) & split that with my husband. We also tried a freeze dessert. Yummy with the guilt or bloating. Chocolate freeze blend: almonds, dates, cacao, sea salt (and added coconut flakes, raspberries, and strawberries). My husband has the Fruit Freeze blend: apples, strawberries, dates, coconut meat (and added strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries). The verdict? Onolicious!!!! I am trying to eat cleaner, but have a sweet tooth craving at times. My chocolate freeze was a perfect discipline. The juice are GMO free and cold pressed. They also offer cleanses for 1-7 days (meaning you pay and they provide all the juice 'meals' you need to do a proper cleanse). I have had and made my share of juices and the Greens 3 was quite delicious. I felt full, yet light (no Polynesian paralysis here). The prices are reasonable for the quality of products. Being that I know nothing about Juicing and cold pressing and Activated Charcoal or Greens/Roots.. I was impressed with the staff that helped me on my first visit here. Extremely patient with going over their products and offered to make me multiple samples even though I just wanted to try one in particular. Completely blew my mind with how addicted I could be to.. juice. My favorite is the Orange, Turmeric, Fuji apple, Lemon blend. Light taste but you can really feel the inflammation from your body leaving haha. Also the Wellness Shot was the only thing they had left when I got there. Its so potent but the taste grows on you, especially after you get punched in the mouth with the ginger and Cayenne. Pricey!! but they have these awesome specials throughout the year. I stopped in when they had a 3 Juices + 3 shots for $25 deal. Individually I believe it was $7 and up. They also have a rewards program. I don't think I could do their Cleanse program but it's a nice "pick me up" or meal replacement. I went in one morning after getting off work & loved how bright, clean & minimal the shop is. The workers were really nice & patient with my coworker & myself struggling with trying to decide what juices we wanted. We each did the 5 bundle & as it was my first time & I'm not the biggest veggie fan, it took quite a bit of time for me to decide. Of course I wanted to sample everything before buying but I wasn't going to be THAT jerk so we tried 2 or 3 & just took the plunge. Thankfully my coworker had been there before & made great recommendations for me since she knows my taste buds well (LOL). It was crazy busy (stood in line about 15 minutes) and there was only one guy at the counter. His name was Elijah and he was so incredible. He is certainly an asset to the company. I give 1 star not for the products or anything but to the man who helped me and it was a harrowing. I had a utterly horrible experience coming into Pressed and I normally love it with my regular workers but the other day was different. I came into the store getting some juice and the first thing I'm bombarded with is this man who happens to be now that I found out the "Store Manager" and ugh! His aura was so unpleasant. He did not give me a chance to look at the menu or just take my time looking at everything and he blurts out in such a unhelpful tone "hi, what can I get for you?" One second from entering the store. He gave me such an attitude and acted like he was better than me or that I was stupid for asking questions. He also sighed a lot when helping me which made me feel like crap. I like Pressed Juicery. I used to go there whenever I was in LA., so it was nice to discover them at Ala Moana Shopping Center. At the same time, there are a lot of great local juicerys that make everything in-house. I personally like Juic'd at SALT. The reason for my review is that I had a bad experience today. I ordered a Hot Immunity Tonic and they skimped on added ingredients, such as the vitamin C and Zinc boosts. They didn't tell me until I questioned them. There was no discount and they still charged the same price, even though it wasn't the drink as advertised. I recommend people questioning them, because they aren't completely up front. It's bad business practices in my opinion. You may or may not be getting the drink you ordered and they won't tell you otherwise. read more
