I'm originally from LA, where green juices are all the rage, and most have fizzled out after their initial hype, but Pressed has stood out and gained a cult following. I love Pressed because of their consistency with their quality of products! The juices are always fresh and delicious. The employees working there are also well-trained with product knowledge. If you want recommendations, don't be afraid to ask! I came in today having forgotten which Greens juices I normally get. The employee was kind enough to offer to look up my past purchases through the rewards program! I didn't know this was a feature, and it was definitely a useful one. They also have excellent freezes here, which is a nice healthy change from the sweets I normally crave. My go-to is the strawberry almond with almond butter drizzle, almonds, and strawberries. I decided to add three toppings for another $1.25 and got coconut flakes, almond butter & quinoa. Because this establishment purchases quality ingredients, I don't mind supporting a good business. Location: this is located inside of ala Moana Shopping mall on the bottom floor. It's diagonal from foodland farms & can be reached from the main mall floor by going down the escalator in Bloomingdales and out to the parking garage. It's fairly close to vintage cave cafe. Price: a bit pricey for the amount you get but not high considering the quality of Ingredients. This is NOT a place to sit down and eat, it's a grab and go type of joint. There is no where to sit, just go in, stand and order.. so keep that in mind. You can always set inside the mall somewhere. My husband and I love coming here. So many drinks to choose from and the staff are very friendly and patient to help you with any questions you have. We come here almost everyday. The vegan soft serve is so good! Its gluten and dairy free, vegan, and no added sugar. Flavors that you can choose from are chocolate, vanilla, and strawberries, chocolate is by far the best. My other all time favorite item I usually get is the Green 3. Which consist of kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber, celery, Apple, lemon, ginger. Free samples are given on all the drinks. I am doing this review based on my experience that my husband and i had yesterday. We usually stop by after our workout is done to have the following day. We came in the store yesterday. We were looking foward to getting the promo which was any 5 items for $25. Worth saving some extra money and it was limited time only. Instead we were very dissapointed that they ran out of mostly everything in the a store. I mean everything! We left the the store with nothing. Every time I go In the store the workers are rude. Never did I have a good experience with the workers. They stare you down as soon as you get in the store. No hi or hello. This one time I tried to order 4 açaí bowls and the cashier mouthed "oh my god" to the other worker, so unprofessional! The website says they close at 9, I walked in 830 and they told me they don't have any soft serve açaí because the guy was already cleaning the machine out. read more

A place that offers a vegan/dairy/gluten-free dessert without sacrificing the flavor and taste. Their freeze always hits the spot. I especially enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin flavor with granola butter. However, there are a couple downfalls. A small freeze with three toppings is almost $7--healthy desserts are expensive. During the holiday season they had a $2 special. Just knowing that deal is out there, I am more inclined to want to come here only during that deal. Also, the store is quite small and when there is even just one person in front of you, it can take a while. Usually they have two people working, but most of the time, only one person is helping out customers. I love this place! Ice cream without the guilt, where can you go wrong!? Okay it's not I've cream exactly but it sure taste just as good. Pressed Juicery is a small little shop that gets crowded pretty quick. They offer pre-bottled all natural juices, freezes (similar to soft serve), coffee and other little treats. All of their items are all natural! Which is great because that means no added sugar or preservatives. You may think all natural, blah! Not here! Their items taste great! They have samples of all their juices and freezes so if you're not sure if this place is for you stop by and get a few samples then decide for your self. Not only is the product delicious the service was friendly as well. The one girl that worked the register was all alone and did a great job servicing everyone quickly and with a smile on her face. Yay for vegan soft serve. The options they had were minimal but good. Chocolate, vanilla, matcha... mmm all of which are put together with dates, almond and other assorted fruit or veggies. The store was quite warm today, made it for an uncomfortable wait as the line swung around the counter. The girls who were working in the back were trying to keep up with the demand of the orders being taken. I felt bad for them seeing as it was kinda hot for me and I was just standing, waiting. I decided on a size 1 almond butter cookie(?)which mind you is as mini as they come at a whopping $5 (starting price) tack on like a dollar or so more for probably ordering a specialty freeze came out to a whole $7. Presentation of my freeze was a little sloppy but Im sure its because they were in a rush to serve the awaiting customers. I really wanted to like it but it was ok, nothing to rave about. Soft serve was good it was the vanilla flavor. I think my favorite part was the almond butter drizzle. It also came with sea salt sprinkle but I think i got like a little too much. Wow. Happiness in a tiny little cup. Who knew such joy could be found in such a small package. I love how their Freeze soft serves are made vegan style with lots of healthy ingredients. The toppings were a blast too. I especially liked the almond butter topping with how it came out as a liquid, but solidified when it hit the cold dessert. Besides soft serve, coffee and juices are available. I love the variety of ingredients here! "A" for awesome effort! One thing I wish was that there were tables and chairs to sit on, but finding a bench outside is not too bad. You get to watch cars drive by while you enjoy your treats. Pressed Juicery is located on the first floor on the same level as foodland farms, and shirokiya. You cant miss it, clear windows with a clean interior, it sorta illuminates as you walk pass, as if you are being called by the health gods to come in and be cleansed! Haha My first time I tried Pressed Juicery was in Santa Monica! However, it took a deep breathe, and some self motivation to buy a drink which costs nearly $8, yikes!! But oh was it worth it, I had their Greens 3 (most popular) and I felt energized, and I felt really good about myself, I had a salad in drink form with ALL the nutrients I was lacking! However, 2 hours later I was starving!!! But I ate :) even if I had a meal in a bottle, does that make me fat? Then again, I did have a salad! I have been coming to the Ala Moana location, almost nearly every day, every morning, spending $8 on juice that I hope will help me to get through the day, and not feel like a slug. This is my alternative to greasy breakfast, and coffee that will give me a bad crash. Yes, it has been working, and in all honesty, despite the price, my body will thank me in the long run! The quality of the food and juices are great! Love the place, the aesthetic, and the employees were nice when I visited and seemed to be well informed about their products. However, they're pretty bad when it comes to delivery. I ordered an açaí bowl over an hour before closing along with a juice and they cancelled after 15 minutes. So I decided to try again the next day at 2pm, and they cancelled once more. I checked yelp and it says they delivery so I tried one more time and they finally decided to make it even though it's the exact same order. read more

*I have only tried the juice and shots I am a huge fan of juicing and usually do it at home but it takes so long I decided to take a break. I called my hubs to ask if he wanted any juice from here since I was ordering a phone order and his response was a 3 DAY JUICE CLEANSE (whyyyyyy?). I'm obviously not going to be one upped and joined in solidarity. I decided to peruse their website and found out that they have a membership program that rocks; you choose a denomination (starting at $10) for them to load onto an online account for you and you can then use the balance toward a purchase. The nice thing is that the membership has no extra fees aside from the monthly withdrawal, but even that goes toward your purchases. Having a membership significantly reduces the cost of their products and I ended up spending $5 per juice and $2 per shot, all in all I ended up saving $40. I had my mom run in and pick up my order. I think it was busy because we realized after she dropped it off (in Pearl City) that we got the wrong order. I called the shop and explained the situation and they ended up sending out a delivery service to drop off my order- apparently they don't offer delivery out this far so they covered the bill for the delivery. Once the delivery arrived I spoke to the store manager and she told me to keep the order that was given to us in error which I totally didn't expect! My order was about 30 bottles (3, 3 day juice cleanses) and the extra order added another 14, which I was suuuuuper stoked about! The shots that I ordered were the vitality and wellness shots, one was turmeric based and the other was ginger based, those went down well too. Beyond the customer service and the membership program I have to say that I really enjoy their juices. They're yummy and way better than when I juice the same exact fruits and veggies at home, and once you factor in the cost I think the membership price brings the cost of their juice below what I'd have to spend to make the same amount (each bottle is 15.2 oz). They have so many variations in each category (greens, citrus, roots, and specialties for the juices) that you'll definitely find something you love. It's mostly ice and very little flavor. The strawberry flavor left a weird texture in my mouth. Definitely not worth the price either. They don't fill the cup and they don't add much when you order toppings, which cost .50 per. And it says fresh strawberries but their defrosted frozen ones. I received a very large gift card from my best friend to Pressed Juicery for Christmas and I immediately wanted to spend it. My Yelp app told me that Pressed Juicery is at Ala Moana Shopping Center Ewa Wing. It is on the bottom floor, right around the corner from Shirokiya. We had no trouble parking with the amount of stalls at the mall. Before I left the house, I did my homework. I went to www.pressedjuicery.com to check out the different types of juices. It was on the site that I learned that they have a membership plan. It is free to join and you get a discount on your purchases. (Check out their website for details.) We arrived at Pressed Juicery 15 minutes before closing. Nicole & Jurnee were so helpful. I told them that I was a member and I had a gift card to spend. I had questions about some of the juices and was offered samples. Those two were helpful and gave me hints and information on what juices I should choose for my concerns. They also pointed out that for every 4 juices, I would receive a cooler bag. (Not sure if they are still running this promotion.) I walked out of there with 5 cooler bags. I have been using my variety of juices for a week now and definitely seen a good change for me. I have more energy and some of my joint pain has gone down a bit. (I am in NO WAY telling you that buying juice is the way to fix what ails you. I am only relaying my experience.) There are a half dozen juice stores in the Ala Moana and Kakaako areas. This is the most reasonably priced. The only thing that concerns me is that there are no expiration dates on the juices. I got the five juice bottles option for $35. You can choose ANY juices, including the "specialty" ones like the almond juices. Great service, the line moves quickly. Park on level 2, Makai and you're directly above the store, it's on level 1, next to Foodland. I also got a freeze. Very tasty, but a small bowl for $6, plus $1.75 for the toppings. This is my first time being here. Usually it's crowded and busy. I avoid the line but this time it wasn't too bad. Turns out there are frequent buyer cards where the more you buy the better the price. I only ordered one because I wasn't certain I'd want more. Only when my drink was empty did I wish I ordered three. I had the citrus 2. It really helped me to stay hydrated. I'll probably come back when I'm in the area. There are some things I wish such as: selling juice in a larger container. A good idea to sell reusable flasks to store juice in would be great. Offer a small discount for a reusable flask. Been a faithful customer here for years and have always experienced cheerful employees, but the guy and girl who was working 4:30 time slot on this Sunday 12/17 had TERRIBLE customer service. Grumpy, spoke in a very irritated tone, on their phones, and missed items in our order. When we went all the way back to store they didn't even apologize or offer compensation. I had stopped by the new Foodland farms to do my grocery shopping. Decided to make my way here and saw a special one day cleanse for $38. Personally I love food too much but in order to keep your figure and still eat good food, sacrifices are to be made. No time to go gym? Well you would substitute and just lower your calories. I've tried eating salads for a week straight, it gets boring. I was recommended each time I start a diet or change my eating habits, it is good to do a cleanse. One of my good friend, he is a personal trainer told me I need to do a 24hr fast the day before I change my eating so my body can adjust. I was starting this low carb diet (IT IS HARD TO DO!! PIZZA, PASTA, FRIES, ETC LOVERS.. you wont last.. I didn't survive more than a week) Before that diet my cleanse was liquid diet, you can only drink water, coconut water and juices, the best results are when its no preservatives and low sugar. (I have low blood sugar level, I need sweets literally to live... or you'll see me passed out). I had water and coconut water all day... by bed time my stomach was grumbling like crazy!! Once the 24hour hits, you are allowed to eat! I did have high energy even without eating. I didn't mention I still took vitamins during the fast for my nutrients. Juicing has always shared to me as being bad for me cause it loses all of its nutrients. But I also heard otherwise. When you go through a cleanse with just liquid and nothing else, this juicing place is helpful! I would much do a juice cleanse than a fast of just water but wait this is for a new purpose... I DONT HAVE TIME TO EAT! With my new job, I can't leave and buy food, nor do I have time to bring home lunch. That's where Pressed Juicery caught my eye. It was time for me to get all my nutrients in a drink without skipping meals. The drinks were my meals. Sometimes skipping meals make you gain weight, unless you are doing that a cleanse or fast. Let's face it, eating healthy is expensive!! I mean spending $20 in a fast food joint you can feed a family of 10 off the extra value menu but try spending $20 on fruit and veggies and you can barely make a salad and 80% is just lettuce! We know we have to eat the good stuff, but this place at least takes the stress and busy work out of shopping, cleaning and preparing it all for you! I'm generally a pretty healthy person but lately with all the stress of moving and traveling, I'll confess, I've been bad, very bad to my body. I decided I needed to get some "good" stuff in my system so it wouldn't revolt on me. Excuses out the window, I needed to be at Ala Moana for my hair appointment anyway and I figured Pressed Juicery would be perfect time to try it out. I was here on a Monday morning and luckily it wasn't that busy at all. The lady working the counter was very polite and helpful in allowing me to try at least 5 different types of flavors. I was a bit overwhelmed and being the "juice virgin" I was, she was more than patient. Initially I thought I just wanted the cold, pressed juice but after she told me about one that also acted like a meal replacement I decided I needed to try it. Yep! That would do it. Basically it would account for breakfast and lunch so spending almost $10 on it was worth it. I decided to pick another one up for my hairdresser because no on wants a "hangry" hairdresser and I knew he would be working a long day! I sipped and slurped my juice all morning and while it's heavy on the calories and (natural) sugar, remember there's quite a bit of punch in a 16 fl. oz bottle. It definitely helped keep me going that day especially when I was still a bit jet lagged. Since it was my first time trying the whole pressed juice thing, I liked it and think it will around for a long time. Not only do they have juices, they also have coffee, freezes (like fro-yo) dried fruit and nuts. I heard there's plans to open more locations around the island which is great and can see why it's a huge hit in California. Call me old fashioned or perhaps too much time on my hands, but I still prefer to shop, clean, cook, and eat my fruit and veggies. I'm super happy they have these places because for times when you're in a pinch or just too lazy, at least you can feel good about doing your body a favor by drinking something healthy. My friend and I had literally stopped in our tracks outside of Pressed Juicery's doors when we saw a patron eating something that looked delightfully refreshing. We thought to ourselves, "What the heck is that?!" As we entered, we ignore the wall of juices that chilled behind glass doors. We had only one thing in mind. An employee explained to us that the Freeze is a frozen version of their juices and "Greens "is a popular choice amongst customers. With nothing to lose, I go for it, deciding I might as well get my vegetables for the day in somehow. As the worker handed me the "Greens", the skepticism began creeping in. It didn't look too appetizing.... My friend ordered the greens and fruit swirl with toppings (it's all the toppings you want that can fit on/in your bowl for $1.75 additional). It was the BEST. DECISION. EVER. Who would've thought blended kale, spinach, lettuce, cucumber, apple, lemon, dates and coconut bits could be so darn DELICIOUS? The Greens was an icy soft serve that's a little bit tangy and a little bit sweet. The selling point, I couldn't even tell there were vegetables in it. No earthy after-taste at all! I sampled the green/fruit swirl with the toppings (my personal fave is almond butter and fresh fruit) and gasp in delight! This is even better!! The fusion of flavors plus the creaminess of almond butter, and pop of juice from the freshest pineapple and raspberries were heavenly. We finished our bowls in record time and were deliberating if we should walk back in to order another. This place is hidden in Ala Moana...but it couldn't hide from me! I'm a huge fan of cold pressed juice. It's located right by the new Shirokiya Food Walk on the ground floor by JTB. It's a juice chain from the mainland and they have over 25 juices. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They have cold pressed juices, premium waters, shots, coffee and frozen cold pressed juice. Each juice is $7.50. They even have juice cleanses ($49.50 per day) which come with 6 juices and 2 premium waters. You can do a 1-7 day cleanse. The best deal is to buy a bundle which is 5 juices ($35.50) which I totally did. It's a small location but I was overwhelmed since there were so many choices. The great thing is they let you sample whatever you want. I really liked their vanilla almond, greens 5 and citrus 2. You're probably thinking what does that even mean??? The great thing is their menu lists all of their ingredients so you can choose a juice with some of your favorite ingredients. I also got a vanilla freeze. They have a 4 oz and 6 oz size. You get to choose from 6 different types. For a $1.75 more you can get unlimited toppings. I got fresh fruit and honey on top. The freeze tasted too good to be healthy! LOVED PRESSED JUICERY!! Tasty juices, delicious freezes (my fav is chocolate or pumpkin!), and amazing staff!! I only used to go a couple of times a year, but now I go almost once a week! Honestly, I really appreciate how great the workers are. Leann and her staff are SUPER friendly!! Sometimes it's hard to choose a juice because there's so many choices. But, they always let you try as many samples as you want until you find a juice you love. My personal favorite juices are orange turmeric or citrus 2. My hubby and I decided to give Pressed Juicery a try after our morning workout one day when we were both feeling a bit worn down from too much doing and not enough rest, too much fast food and not enough green veggies. They were have a deal on some of their new flavors of juice so we grabbed 4 different green juices, with our favorite being their jalapeno yuzu. We really like the zip of jalapeno that gives the juice more dimension. Although the juices were good, the vitality (tumeric, lemon, coconut water, black pepper) and wellness (lemon, cayenne, ginger) shots were what really surprised me. They're tiny shots that really pack a punch and wake you up. It's a really great alternative to morning coffee on those days when you're run down and don't want to put more caffeine into your body. The cashier that helped us was really patient in answering all our questions and offered us samples of any juice we wanted to try. The juices are all pre-made so you're in and out very quickly if you know what you want. The only bummer is that they're not locally made. read more

We usually have an amazing experience here but not tonight. Hence the three stars. The guy behind the counter was very inviting and positive. The girl on the other hand was condescending and clearly didn't believe we had an account there. Let alone believe that we have the V.I.P. account that we have. When we mentioned the V.I.P. promo she continuously questioned it. She would say "Are you sure you have an account?" or "We can only bring up the account by the barcode on your phone. Location: This place is located deep in the nether regions of the Ala Moana Center's new Ewa Extension Project. I discovered it while trolling around in this basement like area while waiting for the Shirokiya Japan Village Walk to open. So if you walk Makai of the Shirokiya entrance you will see a large Japanese Tour Company and then the very small Pressed Juicery. There is parking in this area too. Menu: I guess it is pretty simple. They offer coffee. We didn't try this. We did try a chocolate based frozen dessert. All vegan, gluten...etc. etc. etc. That was excellent and had a very creamy texture. Toppings are unlimited. Ask for what you want. A friend ordered a different frozen dessert that was not as creamy or satisfying. The lady said the frozen desserts are essentially the juices served in a soft serve form. So it would make sense that they aren't uniformly creamy due to the wide variation in juice ingredients. Another visit we tried the juices. I got the #1 Green juice. It was quite good and I would get it again. Marketing: Like almost all health food offerings...there is some hype and hustle behind this product. So to cut through the hype I visited the website and read through their material. Supposedly their 'cold pressed' process was studied and written up by some people at UCLA. Well, kind of , sort of... There is a link to a document which recorded an analysis of nutritional properties for two of their juices. Yada, Yada, Ya... They also have listed an advisory board of various diet doctors who have written diet books. Yeah, Okay, I'm not impressed. Cold Pressed: So this magic like 'cold juicing process' is sort of like pasteurization, but different...and 'wonderful' because it preserves the antioxidant nutrition. The UCLA article says it is in fact heat pasteurization. To make a long story short, the product is juiced in a remote factory, pasteurized and shipped to the stores. From their information, it seems like it does retain most antioxidant levels. I am going to assume that this is nutritious in spite of not being completely freshly juiced. That is until I find out otherwise. I personally am not opposed to pasteurization anyway. Unique: This appears to be juiced without sweeteners, preservatives, and artificial ingredients. That in its self is unique and I'm glad this option is available. I know I'll be going back. I'm going with 4 stars because I liked it. But, I'm sort of leaning 3 stars because, for the price, it is not fresh squeezed/juiced or made with local produce. The workers here are super friendly and welcoming. If you have any questions about their juices on the menu or want to sample anything they gladly help you make the best choice on what juice(s) to order. Besides cold pressed juices, Pressed Juicery offers coffee, premium waters, packaged snacks, shots, and frozen soft-serve juice as well. The price of juices here range from $7.50 to $10 depending on what juice you get. All bottled juices are flown-in from California, so they are not made in Hawaii and you it is recommend you consume them within 3 days. It's easy to get addicted to these juices because the taste is very mild and not too harsh. I even wouldn't mind doing a cleanse eventually! I really didn't want to like this place because I'm such a loyal customer to Jugo Life in Moilliilli, but I'm in love ! Came here one day when I was hungover at Ala Moana in desperate need of grapefruit juice. The workers let me sample a variety of juices until I found the one I liked the most. I pass through Ala Moana every day between jobs and make sure to stop in for some juicy goodness. LOCATION: the ground level of Ala Moana, around the corner of the new Shirokiya. If you're coming in the mall through the keeamoku/Piikoi back entrance you're gonna go right, past the dry cleaners & post office around the corner. If you're coming from the beach side, you're gonna go left past the subway, past the old navy, & past the famous footwear store. DRINKS: so when you walk in they will ask if you want to sample some juices. They will really let you sample as many as you want so don't be shy ! They have a variety of "green" juices, "citrus" juices, and "refreshers." They also have freezes which I actually see a lot of people ordering but have never caught my attention. Anyway the juices are always delicious and just so fresh tasting. I believe it's a little over $7 for a juice. The refreshers are like a flavored water, they have little taste but each flavor brings different health benefits. I really like these too and they're only $3.50. Aside from the health beverages, they sell coffee/espresso drinks which I have never tried because I'm sober off coffee & energy drinks :( SERVICE: wonderful ! They know the answers to any question you might have and are so so friendly ! They also have a rewards program which you want to make sure you sign up for. Warning: I usually come around 3-4pm and it can be really busy, like with a line. OBSEESSED!! Seriously, I have gone 2 out of 3 days to grab a bottle of Pressed. I am a huge fan of juices and couldn't be happier with Pressed Juicery opening its first Hawaii location at Ala Moana. If you're wondering where it is, it is next door to the new Shirokiya, where the old automobile section of Sears used to be. The shop is small and and can get crowded. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable about their juices. They have a variety of juices and the juices are themed, such as citrus, root, and green just to name a few. They also have a soft serve version of their juices known as freeze, available with or without toppings. If you're overwhelmed by the choices, they will allow you to sample everything! You name it and they will pour it out for you. I have tried/bought several juices and Brazil Nut has to be my absolute favorite. It's one of their signature drinks but with vegetables. It's so good, everyone needs to try it!! The juices are quite pricey at 9 bucks for a signature drink and 7.50 for non signature juices. You can probably grab juices at Whole Foods for less than 6 bucks but the selection and blends are not as good. I mean the Brazil Nut has dates, kale, brazil nuts, vanilla bean, sea salt, romain lettuce, and spinach! They have a 5 for $35 special, which can be good if you can consume 5 bottles within 3 days. 3 days is their suggested time in consuming a drink.
