We like to grab a Boba Drink from Sharetea once a month after visiting the orthodontist (next door). We've only been to this Sharetea location and the service is always helpful and quick. This location has limited seating inside but there is also covered seating outside for patrons. We have tried numerous drinks from this location so in our experience you can't go wrong with the drinks offered here but our favorites are the ice blended drinks. I recently had a strawberry coconut ice blended drink with mango boba and it was absolutely delightful. It was Tahiti in a cup. I grabbed a drink here while waiting on our table at The Broth Bar next door. There was one person ahead of me, so I didn't have to wait long. Their menu is quite extensive. I was deciding on what to get and saw their ad for Bobo Pomango $9.95. I love mango and had to try it out. It wasn't to my liking. It was supposed to be a coconut and mango blended drink. Aloha, I visited this location around 1:40 PM on Tuesday, 4/28, and felt uncomfortable with the music being played in the store. The playlist included uncensored hip hop with frequent explicit language and slurs. While this type of music may be appropriate in some settings, it felt out of place for a boba tea shop in a shopping center environment. Although there were no young children or families present at the time, it could easily create an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers if there were. Drinks are always good, but service was super slow with one worker. Second time I've visited the store this month and only one employee is working. Hats off to the one worker during lunch hour. Poor management needs to step in and work alongside their workers if they're short staffed. Was craving boba one night and was hanging out at Kahala mall so I walked over to shartea. I've been before a while back but this review is on my most recent visit. I decided to try their mango and passion fruit tea with mini pearls. The drink was made pretty quick since the place one was empty. I do like coming here for their delicious drinks. I also like that you can choose your sugar and ice levels even though I don't think they know what less ice means. Staff is friendly and it is clean. However, I'm not a huge fan on some of their "company policies." I don't really like how you can't split a drink into 2 separate cups when you are ordering for kids. I have even asked to pay extra for the cup but was told the answer is NO. They do not offer kids sizes. Today, I ordered a drink but did not want the ice cream. Staff said I could pick a different topping so I chose boba. I said I wanted the boba in my other drink and she told me NO. How does that make any sense. You are going to give me boba which I am already paying for but you control which drink I am allowed to put it in??? I truly do not understand this concept. With the amount of boba and tea options growing the priority should be customer satisfaction. I wasn't very pleased with my last visit here. i've heard SO many mixed reviews about Sharetea in Hawaii so i was hesitant to try it for the longest time but since I'm doing a TikTok review of every single boba shop on the island, I figured I'd have to try it eventually. I got the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea ($6.35) which is a black milk tea with pretty much all the regular toppings. There was WAY too much boba and not enough of everything else, and while I do appreciate the variety of textures and flavors, the cup was like 60% toppings which i wasn't a fan of. I got it with half sweetness and it was still pretty sweet so i'd recommend going lower if you have an asian palette like me. The milk tea itself had a nice rich and milky flavor. The boba was very soft and from the few sips of custard i had, i think it was good too! Happy it was okay but not a place I think i'd really ever crave. read more

With milk tea joints popping up all over Oahu, the competition is getting tough. I tend to have my favorites in the immediate town area but thanks to fellow Elite Sherrie K. who brought me a classic black milk tea one day. She spoke highly of Sharetea and wanted me to try them. It had such a bold tea essence where I was immediately sold on the first sip. Located in Kahala Mall with neighbors of Brug Bakery, Jersey Mike's Subs and Domino's, Sharetea hails from Taiwan as they started business in 1992. Since then, Sharetea has expanded into 18 countries and has over 1000 stores worldwide. There are about 30 locations in US with America's headquarters located in New York City. What makes Sharetea unique is that they utilize high quality tea leaves that is shipped directly from Taiwan. After a recent brunch that had me full, the subject of dessert popped up and I suggested we come to Sharetea to cool down from the warm weather. We luckily scored parking in the awkwardly tight parking lot in front of this area. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to have witnessed a line of people waiting inside and outside of Sharetea. Impressive. I pretty much had my mind set as I wanted the black milk tea again but this time with 30% sweetness (compared to previous 50%). My friend, who is lactose intolerant asked the staff if they use dairy milk in their milk teas. As advertised, Sharetea uses a non-dairy creamer on milk teas so my friend also ordered the black milk tea but at 50% sweetness level. I was surprised there were only 3 staff on shift during our stay, which resulted in a waiting time to order and to pick up. It was a Sunday with no major plans for me with the exception of an afternoon nap - - I was in no rush. Eventually our number was called and we got our drinks. My black milk tea was as tasty just as I had remembered. I really appreciate the bold tea flavor and being able to adjust the sweetness level. Overall, a very pleasant first experience at this storefront where I'm sure I'll be back again. My office isn't too far from Sharetea so with the fivestars reward program, this gives me an incentive for return visits. NOTE: I'm kicking myself for not drinking any milk tea during my trip to Taiwan in 2018. The petite female employee gave attitude face expression and stated, "no, the drink is the drink and always use the same recipe". My response, "can you remake it". The petite female employee again stated, "always used the same recipe" and refused to use remake the drink. She even gave the nerve to be so argumentative about it. My next response was to refund for the drink. The petite female employee next stated, "no the drinks are always correct and not here to argue" and refused to even do a refund. My next response, "remake the drink or refund me and I am a customer that shouldn't be treated like this and there's no need to argue back". Another employee remade the drink, but the color was different; lighter pink color. I couldn't believe my ears. In the end, the petite female employee refunded and I asked for her name, but she refused and mentioned "why, to complain about me? I did nothing wrong and the never changed the recipe and that she will tell her boss what happened". While walking out, she kept mumbling. After we left the shop, another customer talked to us and asked if we are okay and they no longer go there anymore too as something similar happened to them previously. In result, take your chances going there, Share Tea at Kahala location. Found the employees very offensive, rude, and argumentative. If going there, take your chances of not receiving good customer service. Apparently it's a popular chain but coming out of my Covid-19 rock bubble I thought it was newly opened. Located on the outer Kahala Mall lot surprisingly this is the only tea place in the area. It's too humid today so I needed my fruit tea ASAP! Again never been here so I had SO many questions. *First of all I asked if they have a mixed fruit tea...NO *Whats in your Hawaii Fruit tea...mumbles...!? I dunno *What is Aiyu? No response Drinks comes in one size many you don't have a choice of tea and description of what type of tea is used other than ice and sweetness level it seems like you are to order it how it comes. I felt I've annoyed them so I just decided on Passion fruit, Orange and grapefruit tea since I know what's in it...but I don't know what type of tea (green or black) is used, ordered lightly sweet and no ice (because light is NEVER light) it was SWEEEEET!!! It tasted like a premixed Hawaiian Sun fruit tea it was made literally in seconds. Looking at the menu I had a bad feeling but really want to give them a try and sadly I just need to taste the tea and I couldn't, I was good but just being sweet isn't enough and I couldn't taste the tea or individual fruit that was supposed to be represented in the drink. Long story short: rude cashier, curdled $10 drink, and poor cleanliness (reusing the boba with curdled bits for a new drink). Don't get me wrong, I like their other drinks and the Ala Moana location, but this experience was simply horrifying. I visited this location a couple of months ago (May) and I was very disappointed with the service and the drink. The girl at the register did not greet me, but instead stared me down until I finally greeted her, "Hello," and ordered my drink, a strawberry matcha with boba. The two workers (the girl and the younger male worker that day) skipped calling my number (37) and called 38 instead. They were not busy at this time as it was just me and another family waiting for our drinks. When I walked up to the counter to check if one of the three drinks on the counter was mine, the girl stared at me again and separated my cup from the other 2. I wish I took a picture but my whole drink curdled/became stringy within the first 10 minutes of drinking it so I went back to ask if this was normal. The female worker responded no and offered to remake it. I asked if she could make the regular matcha instead because I'm not sure if it was something in the strawberry syrup reacting with the milk. She was actually nice to me this time (very surprisingly), but here's where it went downhill: the male worker told me that he wanted my old curdled cup to REUSE THE BOBA. He then used the communal shaker/strainer to strain my boba (can't remember if he was using gloves either) and was about to put it into a new cup. I told him that he should at least rinse it out first because there was curdled bits between the boba. Not sure why he couldn't give me a fresh scoop of boba, but he finally rinsed it out and threw it into a new cup. I got sick later that night. I also took multiple sips out of the original drink before he decided to strain my drink and did not see the male worker wash the strainer as I walked out. Been here maybe four times in the last month? We've tried a different tea/flavor each time and they've all been quite good/not bad. Pearl Milk Tea with Oolong - I think their version is a bit of an acquired taste. Probably won't get it again. 50% sweetness is ok since oolong is a little bitter to begin with (I think). Classic Pearl Milk Tea - to me, 50% is equivalent to how a regular sweet (i.e. 100%) tea should be. I was still able to taste the tea. I would probably go 30% next time I order this. Hawaii Fruit Tea with Aiyu Jelly - thanks to the staff who warned me that the fig-based jelly is already sweetened, I asked for 30% sweetness. But it's still super sweet! Also, there's the jelly (like the kind you spread on toast) that flavors the drink and the lightly-flavored jello-type jelly that's added for texture. I would try it at 0% sweetness next time. Coffee Milk Tea - 30% sweetness was just nice for me! With mini boba, the drink was gone pretty quickly. ($6.81 with tax) Milk Tea Ice Blended with Pearl - 50% is still quite sweet, but man the ice blended is so good! I think this is the classic milk tea but blended in ice, and for an extra dollar or so. ($7.28 with tax) Wintermelon Tea - just like at other boba tea shops. I think the challenge with customization of sweetness levels is that taste is so subjective, and asking the staff may not be helpful since only you would know what's the perfect level of sweetness for you. I don't like my drinks too sweet so I usually start at 50% at new-ish places until I figure out their standard. Each time we've gone it's been relatively quiet/no lines, and we get our drinks really fast. I think the drinks are pretty pricey though. The ice blended drink is $7! Service can be friendly but it can also be perfunctory. The boba texture has been quite consistent so that's a plus! I like the chewiness and bounce of the regular size ones; I also like the mini boba. Haven't tried their other toppings ($0.75 each) 3.75 stars. I wouldn't call this a favorite but we'll probably return mostly because tbh we'll stop by this little strip mall anyway for food options on our way to the beach (for snacks) or from the beach (for dinner). Parking can be a challenge with the way the lot is designed and also depending which direction you enter the lot; if you have a big or long vehicle I recommend parking in the structure meant for Kahala Mall and walking over. #45 read more

Tried out ShareTea for the first time yesterday with my family since we just got done browsing the KCC Farmer's Market (just a 5 min drive away!) and I was craving boba. This ShareTea location is a bit smaller than other boba places I've been to but not too small for me to feel claustrophobic or anything. While there were chairs and tables in the store, customers are not allowed to dine in due to COVID precautions. When looking at the menu, the Strawberry Ice Blended with Lychee Jelly and Ice Cream drink caught my eye immediately. I've always had a big sweet tooth and I felt like this drink would satisfy me completely. As I ordered the drink, I added regular sized boba to it and I also noticed that the cashier does not ask what level of sweetness you want for the type of drink I ordered. I walked back to my family's car and immediately tasted the strawberry lychee concoction that I ordered. ...it was okay. The strawberry ice blended part of the drink was WAY too sweet for my liking. In fact, the vanilla ice cream on top was less sweeter than the drink itself. I'm not too sure if I was supposed to mix the ice cream into the drink to make the drink more bearable though. I don't recall tasting any lychee jelly at all but that might be because I added regular boba to the drink and maybe they didn't have enough space for both (?), who knows. The boba itself was not too sweet and had just the right amount of chewiness to it. But, I feel like the amount of boba was too much for me as well. I truly wanted to enjoy this drink but I was a bit disappointed with everything. I do want to come back here again to try the other types of drinks. Maybe the ice blended drinks here aren't for me. I always go there and I love their drink , but I can't stand the attitude of the younger girl who works there. She never smiles or has a welcoming look on her face. Her attitude is so bad every time I go in there and she's working. It's so sad because I like to get drinks there but at the same time I don't like to go there because of the bad customer service. Decided to try Share Tea for the first time at the Kahala Location. I found parking right away. Not many people clamoring to eat lunch at 11 am. Reviewed the menu and decided on tea drink with fruit vs milk. Ordered the Peach Green Tea with Aiyu Jelly with 30 percent sweetness. I would order it again. Not too sweet. Lots of the jelly pieces and I liked the taste of the peach. Definitely would hire people that smile, say thank you, and show more interest in their job. It would definitely help make the customer's experience a positive one. Trying to be greener this new year, so I carry around a reusable tumbler or Mason jar to places. First time trying ShareTea in Hawaii and have only heard great things. When ordering I asked to use my reusable cup, and unfortunately they don't take any alternative cups. Felt really sad since they premeasure everything in a separate cup. But maybe because they have to print out each order and stick it to each cup to keep track. Oh well. Tea was good. Got the Okinawan Pearl Milk Tea. Can only do 80% or more sweetness since this is a roasted brown sugar milk tea. Very sweet for my personal preference but still very tasty. Has some chocolate notes, darker in color than most milk teas. I'd usually go 50% or less in sweetness and may try something different next time. Boba is FRESH and soft. We came here on the suggestion of some friends who also love boba. I haven't heard too much about it so didn't have super high expectation although they were talking about how great it was. I got the classic green milk tea with boba, 80% sweet. My boyfriend got the Okinawa pearl milk tea (toasted brown sugar) with boba, also 80% sweet. We both tried his first and I was so surprised at how delicious it was!! It was sweet but not too much, and refreshing, and so so yummy!! I was then scared to try mine because I didn't think it could taste as good. But then I tried mine and was surprised again! I loved it!! It tasted like really good quality tea, sweet and refreshing also. Also the boba texture of both of ours were perfect. Not too hard or soft, but chewy and delicious. And they gave a good amount too. I really have nothing bad to say about Sharetea. We went again cause I really wanted to and we both got the exact same things cause they were so good the first time. Not my fav. First, parking is atrocious. Is everyone eating at McDonald's? Idk but this shared lot with McDonald's was packed! I had to circle a couple times to get a stall. On top of that, it's really poorly laid out because I felt like I spent a good 10 minutes just waiting for others to pull in and out of their stalls. If you're going to come here, park in some other part of kahala mall and walk. Second, they were offering a check in offer for 10% off, but when I got to the register, the cashier was confused. They said the promotion had ended and I asked why the offer was still posted on yelp.... they were like ohhh I guess we can honor it, but you won't be able to collect five stars points. At Hana Tea, I am able to use my 10% yelp check in offer AND get stamps, so obviously that's more of a reason for me to go elsewhere. I ordered like 15 drinks. I spent almost $100. The workers weren't really concerned with helping me get the drinks to my car or being helpful in anyway other than just making my drinks and setting them in the counter when they were done. I got maybe 1 free drink that I could redeem the next time I visit. But who knows when that will be. Most of the people who I bought for didn't have anything exceptional to say about the drinks. I noticed Canada has this tea place too and I have a friend who said this place is really good. I came here on the weekend. It's kind of in the back of Kahala mall near McDonalds. Very limited seating and table. We walked in and three people were standing behind the counter and looked unwelcoming. The workers there looked stoned and not friendly. Whatever... We ordered the Wintermelon tea Creama $6~ with 30% sugar and less ice. Creama is cheese foam on top of the drink. The drink came out really sweet. I don't if it's because wintermelon is originally that sweet. Can't really taste the tea in it. Cheese foam was smooth and thing. Drink is one sized. A bit overpriced for a milk tea! I've been waiting forever and a day for this shop to open! This was one of the very first milk tea I had when I was studying abroad in Hong Kong and it easily became one of my favorites. When word came out that they were coming to Kahala Mall, I couldn't wait! Thanks to my fellow Yelpers, Ann + Anna Nguyen, I found out that they had their soft opening yesterday so I made it my mission to check it out today! It's located outside of the mall where McDonald's and Jersey Mike's Subs are but it's definitely a doable walk from the mall if you started your day there. It's a tiny shop with 2 small tables and 1 big table so it's not really an ideal location to sit and chat. They have a good selection of drinks but what really caught my eye was their Handmade Taro with Fresh Milk! I only had this drink in Asia and really wished one of the milk tea shops in Hawaii offered it and now it looks like my dream came true! We also decided to get the Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea. The wait for our drinks was reasonable since they were still getting the hang of things but I'm so glad we beat the line or it would of been unbearable... I loved both our drinks! You could really taste the flavors and the chunks of red bean and taro. The only thing that bothered me was that I wasn't expecting the Handmade Taro with Fresh Milk to be blended; I'm used to just having plain mashed taro in milk but nowhere on the menu did it mention being blended together...nonetheless, it was still delicious. This is a full service milk tea place with tons of choices so you might want to look at their online menu before coming so you know what you want cuz DONT BE TAKING 2 MINUTES TO DECIDE when there's a line full of people behind you! Our 2 Hokkaido pearl milk tea drinks took 25minutes because it was so crowded, but my daughter and husband said it was 5-stars. We aren't really milk tea connoseurs but I have had several drinks at other places where the boba is hard or crunchy so its possible to screw up drinks. This place has perfect balls. We always come to Sharetea since we live in the area. It's located outside Kahala Mall, next to McDonalds. I usually order their milk tea, less sweet, with boba. What I love about Sharetea is that their milk tea and boba is always consistent in taste.. where other places sometimes have good days or bad days. We've even tried a few Sharetea locations in Las Vegas, and their drinks are reliable. Of course there are certain boba places I'd rather go to, ie. Hana Tea, but it's nice to have somewhere close to home. Prices are normal, or slightly on the higher side. Also, a lot of their drinks are only one size (larger size). read more

This is maybe a 3.5/4. My friends and I come here often. Tried a number of different options. If you go for a blended drink, always ask for it to be double blended. It comes out less chunky. Today's choice, Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea (toffee carmael) a little too sweet for my liking, even at the lowest sweetness they could do. Seems like this one is more for someone who loves the sweeter things in life. The blended Oreo milk tea has become one of my main picks and the classic milk tea with boba can't go wrong. The boba itself is always the perfect texture, that is one of the big positives about this place, since I have had terrible experiences at other places with hard boba, I can really appreciate the ones that make it great. read more

Our first tea spot for 2021 was Sharetea. They're located right by Kahala Mall. They have several parking stalls available out front. It was our first time at Sharetea so we weren't sure of what drinks to get and let's just say we weren't disappointed. I decided to get the Peach Kiwi fruit tea with aiyu jelly and my hubby got the Mango mojito. Both drinks tasted great! Only downside was that they were both pretty sweet. I got my drink at 80% but maybe 50% would've been better. My fruit tea had bits of jelly and kiwi in it which made it taste even better! Prices here are fair ranging from $5.50 - $6.50/drink. They have various drinks including milk teas and toppings like boba as well. Will definitely be back here when I'm in the area and craving something sweet and refreshing! read more

Took the kids to Sharetea today outside of Kahala Mall. Walked up to the register and the employee stared at us, no hello no what can I get you, nothing, I said hello began to place my order and asked if they had smaller sizes for the blended as it's much too large for my girls, she said blended only come in one size. I said ok well I guess they can share. I ordered with no mango jelly in the bottom but sub boba since one likes boba and the other doesn't and they both don't like the jelly. I asked if we could get an extra cup to share, her response was we don't give out cups I said may I buy a cup thinking I could buy one for $0.50, she said we don't sell cups. I said do you maybe have a water cup again no. Ok I said well if you only have one size maybe you should offer different sizes for the kids. No reply from her. She turned her back and began making the drink. While she's making the drinks she began to whisper to the other employee as they both look over at us and continue to whisper. My girls kept saying I can hear them talking about us, I said I know I can too. As she was making the blended she kept adding hot water which I thought was weird when making what they claim is an ice cream based drink. Once the drink was finished she placed it in the counter never saying anything. As I was not the only person in the store I asked is this ours, no reply just a hand gesture. I had to spend the drive home explaining to my girls that repulsive behavior as they displayed a disrespectful and rude and not how anyone should be treated. Employee dealing with customers should be kind and welcoming. Our order was made incorrectly, jelly was added when we had asked not to include it. The photo is what was left of the drink after my two girls shared, they said it didn't taste very good and I had to agree. This is what the drink looked like 20 min after ordering. How's that for an $8.55 plus tax drink. Horribly rude service along with subpar overpriced drink that was made incorrectly. Save your $9.00 and go somewhere you will be treated kindly and respectfully while getting a delicious beverage. This is not that place. If I could give it minus stars I would!! read more

I love Sharetea! I have grabbed dozens and dozens of drinks from here and I've never been disappointed. They have plenty of traditional boba drink options, as well as teas, blended drinks, and exciting new options coming out regularly. I can't wait to try the mojito-inspired drinks! The staff are helpful, positive, and fast. The drinks and the whole store are clean and not sloppy. The drinks are delicious and aesthetic. Portion sizes are good, variety is great, and the taste is top notch. My only drawback is that price is a little on the higher side compared to more basic boba shops. However, I love this spot and even with the higher price they can't lose a star from me! Highly recommend! read more

Young people with manners! Excellent quality blended and iced teas. Delicate and bold flavors that will make you a regular. Sharetea is high quality bubble tea and you won't be disappointed. Parking can be a little tricky, but the 15 minute diagonal spots rotate quickly. And you can always park at the makai end of Kahala Mall and use the crosswalk to the small marketplace that includes McDonald's and the other food establishments that make up this small annex where the bowling alley and Baale used to be. read more
