I still remember being younger and walking out after that first appointment feeling completely transformed and so much more confident. It was honestly life changing for my teenage self! Over the years she has consistently shaped my brows perfectly and somehow always knows exactly what works for my face. Beyond that, she is such a kind, welcoming person and seeing her has become one of those comforting constants in my life through so many different phases and years. I only went to this place because I heard good reviews as well as it's the closest to my home. So I walked in having high hopes, and I even brought up a reference picture. After checking in for my appointment for a gel-x fill, I went to go see my nail tech and I went to say hello but she didn't say hello back. Whatever. So then I showed her my reference photo and I want all white. Now I understand if I couldn't see the flowers if it's the same white nail color, which is why she suggested a different color that I didn't even ask. Not even like a white purple/blue color just so we can see the flowers better. Also, I know I should've spoken up more, which I had three times that I want to be a classic white French tip with daisies. But she insisted on using a shade of purple that I didn't even ask for. But not only that, but I feel like she couldn't speak English fluently because half of the time she was speaking to me in full Vietnamese, which I had a hard time communicating. I honestly felt a bit peer pressure to have a nail design that I didn't exactly ask for and that's what I'm very disappointed in. When my nails were done, she then prompted me to go wash my hands, but never told me where it's at or didn't even point where the sink was so I had to ask another employee to find the sink. Now I don't mind the nails design itself if it was done better, even though I have spent $65 on it and honestly during the whole appointment I kind of felt uncomfortable even though I did speak up, but just not enough then I should have, but it also doesn't look like the picture I wanted it. I'm pretty disappointed with my appointment and I will not be coming back unless I have another nail tech who I'm pretty sure will do my nails more nicely design wise. This is why communication is very important during any nail appointment and I thought I have communicated my needs, but I guess it wasn't enough to the point where I was peer pressured to do a nail design that I don't even want.

The technician working on my nails was not focused on her work. She spent most of the appointment talking and joking instead of paying attention, which led to multiple issues. While applying the nails, they kept falling off because they were not being glued properly. I pointed this out several times, but my concerns were dismissed and not taken seriously. When she moved on to the design, the work became even worse. The nails were crooked, uneven, and messy. Eventually, another staff member had to step in and redo everything from scratch. This meant removing all the gel with a drill and starting over, which made the already long appointment even more frustrating. At the same time, I was also getting a pedicure, and that experience was just as bad. The technician did not understand what I was asking for. I repeatedly requested a simple French style, but she kept doing something completely different. I had to ask her two times to redo. It was clear there was a lack of communication. This is not my first time getting acrylics, so I know what to expect. A full set, even with a French design, should not take this long. At other salons, my nails usually last three to four weeks without any issues. Here, the quality was clearly not the same. When it came time to pay, I expressed that I did not feel the service deserved full price given everything that went wrong. Instead of acknowledging the situation, they only offered a 10% discount after I had to ask for it myself. The staff seemed annoyed that I even brought it up, and there was no real apology for the experience. Considering the time, the quality, and the inconvenience, I expected a much more reasonable adjustment. To make matters worse, only two days later, one of my nails has already fallen off with no effort. I got my nails done for an upcoming trip, and now I am leaving with broken nails, which is incredibly frustrating. The place had a lot of potential. They even offer two complimentary drinks, which initially made the experience feel more exciting. However, good perks do not make up for poor service, long wait times, and low-quality work. I arrived at 8:45 am and was welcomed by receptionist and informed her that this was my first time ever having microneedling. She reassured me that I made a great decision. I was then taken into a room for pictures of my skin. After the pictures I was taken to the procedure room and did my medical assessment by zoom with the physician assistant. After being cleared the receptionist brought me a bottle water and advised me that Perla had just arrived and she would be in momentarily to go over everything. I waited less than 5 minutes and Perla came in and we had a great conversation about what I wanted to achieve with my skin and my problem areas. Perla then put numbing cream on my face and advised that she would leave it on for 15 minutes. I was really impressed because every question I had about the process she answered and explained everything step by step. After the numbing cream she cleaned my face and put on an astringent and began microneedling. I thought it was going to be painful and that I was going to bleed. It actually tickles in some areas of the face and neck but I did have a little discomfort on the forehead and nose area. After it was over Perla did show me the areas that I had some redness but stated that would go away within a few days. Perla also advised me to use tinted sunscreen and gave me her recommendations on how to care for my skin. I immediately seen a difference and will be scheduling another appointment in 6 weeks for another session. I was really satisfied and highly impressed! Oh! I almost forgot after my service was over I was trying to redeem my Groupon deal and the Groupon site was having problems. I tried to access it several times and the receptionist tried on her end to access the site and nothing was happening. After 20 minutes the receptionist inquired if I would allow her to stay logged into my Groupon and she would take care of it and call me once the payment cleared. I felt bad for leaving unsure about the payment because I had never used Groupon and wanted to make sure that the business was paid for my services. About 10 minutes after I left I received a call from the receptionist that the website was up and running and she was able to redeem the Groupon payment.
