Casey was such a sweet treasure of a soul. She took the time to get to know me, my needs, my personal preference and she listened without judgment!! I have been struggling with hair loss for many years and I also have thin gray hair! I brought my own shampoo and conditioner, Casey was so respectful and fairly knowledgeable about the challenges of gray hair and hair loss. I really appreciated how open she was when I shared that I preferred non-toxic, products without harmful chemicals. She even inquired about the products I brought. She took really good care of my hair. She was really easy to talk to. I left loving my haircut!! This was the first time a stylist didn't go to town trying to "layer" my hair to give me volume. I reached out to about 10 salons through Yelp about a week before I needed the appointment, and only 3 responded. The assistant from Hair Drezzers on Fire was incredibly helpful. I explained what I was looking for, and she was able to find a stylist who was available on the day I needed and give me a quote ahead of time that I was comfortable with. The whole process of setting up the appointment was easy and professional. When we arrived, I found street parking nearby. Some of the parking is metered, but there are also side streets where you can find non-metered parking. The salon itself was nice and clean. We were greeted right away by a super friendly and helpful gentleman, who I later realized was the owner! We were also offered something to drink, which was a nice touch. My girls were scheduled with Maggie, and she was wonderful. She was kind, professional, and most importantly, she knew how to work with curly hair. She trimmed both girls' hair and was also able to do the braided styles they wanted. She did an excellent job, and I was really happy with how their hair turned out. After having such a hard time finding a salon that checked all of our boxes, I'm really glad we found this place. I would definitely bring my girls back!

This required me to follow their page before I could message them. Really, really inefficient. In the meantime, I was able to locate another salon and hairdresser via Vagaro and book an appointment. These professionals may be great, but having an easy way to book will get more clients. In this day and age, the instantaneous booking is the bar and this place doesn't meet it. It is a hurdle/challenge to just get an appointment. I am sure these people are nice and are probably good at what they do.

I made the mistake of going here and ended up paying three times the amount of money to have my hair color corrected after Sam turned it a red orange color when I told him beforehand that my only fear was ending up with red/orange hair. He assured me it would not. Not only that but the haircut was totally uneven and way shorter than I wanted. It had to be recut to even it all out. This can be devastating for a haircut that is already extremely short. Now I have to wear a scarf or a hat until my hair gets longer. Probably around six months. The worst experience of my life. I thought because he had great reviews he must be pretty good but after my hair was ruined I looked further for more reviews. If you look hard enough and deep enough you will find all of the terrible reviews. For some reason people are able to hide these which is a bad thing for people like myself that look for reviews before going to a new salon. I dont understand how he could have so many 5 stars reviews after what he did to my hair. Are they really all real reviews? Seriously, this is so deceiving and it's unfair to people that rely on honest reviews to decide where to go for hair needs.
