Came in for a tiny door ding on my Tesla--literally the kind of dent you could almost push out with your thumb. This "Tesla-authorized" estimator took one look, typed dramatically on his computer, and handed me a quote for $4,600. I gasped so hard I nearly sucked the paperwork off the desk. My eyes must have bugged out like a cartoon character because I was in genuine shock. Four thousand six hundred dollars? For a ding? Feeling dizzy from the sticker shock, I took it to Tesla's own body shop for a second opinion. Their quote? $1,600. Same repair, same car, same ding--only $3,000 less. Either this place genuinely believes Tesla owners have money falling out of our frunks, or they saw a woman walk in and figured they'd pad the estimate like it was a game of "how much can we get away with." After an unfortunate incident where we backed our less than 30 day old Tesla Model Y into our garage we decided we needed some quotes to fix the, albeit minor, but noticeable damage. We first obtained a quote from Tesla that came back at $2500+, we were shocked because it truly was purely cosmetic and on just the wing part of the liftgate. We decided to get a quote from Prestige as we have previous experience with their service. Much to our surprise, the quote was less than half of what Tesla quoted and it could be done in a day. We dropped it off first thing and sure enough, it was finished within the day. When we arrived to pick it up, Ken was there to greet us and he had the car detailed and looking brand new again. *** LOCKED IN WITJ THE INSURANCE COMPANY NOT HELPFUL TO ACTUAL CUSTOMERS***I went in to have my car repaired through my insurance, more concerned about internal damage than the bumper, this Shop was only concerned with bumper work, they wanted to charge $400 just to have the car checked out. They didn't fix my strut or oil pan bcs it had previous damage, even though it was the collision impact that caused the damage that caused my car to sound the way it does or oil leaking. All they did is fix my bumper, now I'm stuck with the remaining damage bcs both the insurance company and Prestige are not helping me. $1000 deductible and the most important damage to my car has not been resolved and I couldn't back out of it because I already had to pay $400 to just remove the bumper. I hope this tells the reader how they let me down. read more

Complete idiots work here. I specifically asked them if they can work on my car with an anti-locking device the estimator assured me that they could he said he sure his boss knows how to use it. I questioned it several times arranged for a rental car had my car towed to the facility. To find out that they cannot repair my car how to take a morning off of work to wait for them to tow my car back to me. Complete waste of time. Even when I got the estimate, I told them I had the device in my car and nothing was ever said about it now I'm in search for a new Body Shop. However, I am compelled to write about their General Manager, Oswaldo "Ozzie" Pina. He was very rude and unprofessional. He was supposed to inform me about my vehicle when it was ready as the person who was handling my repair was away from the office due to a death in the family. The rep left all the paperwork and also informed me that Ozzie will contact me. The sad part was that my vehicle sat there in their facility for 4 days after the repair was completed. When I questioned Ozzie about why I wasn't not informed and I had to incur 4 additional days of car rental not only he didn't apologize for the error he shut me down on my additional car rental cost. Back for a third time. Car got rear-ended and since I am still with Mercury, I knew this was going to be their first suggestion. I was able to get an appointment for an inspection/insurance estimate the day after the accident at a time that was convenient for me. Thanks to their scheduling department for making this happen. I was advised that my repair would be quick since they would not have to order any parts, just pull the bumper, repair, paint and assemble. The next opening was the following Tuesday (4 business days). I asked if they would be able to get it done by the end of that week and they said yes. When I dropped it off on Tuesday, I was told I would get an update on Weds/Thurs as it would most likely be 3-4 business days to get work completed. I got my rental car approved for four days and picked it up next door. No call was received by Thursday, so I called and was told that there were delays. I reminded them that I only had my rental until Friday and they said they would see what they could do. I got call on Friday that said the bumper just got out of the paint booth, but there was not going to be enough time to assemble it, but would get in on Monday. I returned the rental due to the holiday weekend and waited until Monday for a call. Didn't get it and when I called I was told that the bumper just got out of the paint booth but no time to assemble it (same story as Friday). On Tuesday, I was called with apologies and advised that car would be ready to be picked up today. When I advised of my lack of rental car, they quickly responded with the offer to have their driver pick me up. With the frustration of the delays, this was greatly appreciated since I was looking at a 3.5 mile walk in the rain. While this wasn't a 5 star service, under the circumstances, there are many positives to keep this place at 4 stars. They have been in business many years and are well connected with the insurance companies which eliminates most headaches. read more

I did extensive research on Rivian Certified Collision Centers and I'm extremely satisfied with Prestige from start to finish. One of the best, if not the best customer service experiences I've ever experienced in any industry. Kevin was professional and very proactive with communication. He would tell me what day he'd update me and never once did he fail to do so. There was never a delay with anything from parts, repair, or communication. My R1T only had 480 miles on it when it went in for repair and was complete in less than 1 month. The damage was not small either. Another reputable shop said repair would be 2 mos or more. Make no mistake, Prestige is very busy with Teslas and Rivians. There were closer Rivian Certified Collision Centers but I chose Prestige despite the 1-1.5 hr drive one way specifically because of the reviews I read about Kevin. DO NOT hesitate to take your Rivian to him as he'll make it look like it came off the showroom floor. Kevin takes pride in his word and work ... only makes sense the shop's name is Prestige. The only thing they need to do is promote him to management. He is definitely an asset to Prestige and I will recommend him to everyone I know including Rivian. read more
