When I arrived, the Middle Eastern gentleman working at the entrance told me and my wife that they only hand wash Teslas. He immediately started trying to upsell me and came across as though he was more interested in getting me to spend more money than actually helping me. What made the experience even worse was the way he treated my wife. He was extremely rude and disrespectful toward her, and his tone and attitude were completely unnecessary. We were simply trying to understand our options, and there was absolutely no reason for him to speak to her the way he did. I remember when Talk of the Town was a place where you could go and feel like you were getting good service and being treated like a valued customer. Unfortunately, that was not my experience today. The customer service has clearly gone downhill. If there are specific policies regarding Teslas or hand washing, that's completely understandable. But there is a respectful way to communicate those policies to customers. Being rude, dismissive, and constantly pushing an upsell is not acceptable. Today was a very disappointing experience, especially because of how disrespectfully my wife was treated. I hope management takes this seriously because the employees at the entrance are the first impression customers get of the business. Based on today's experience, we will not be coming back.
