Took my wife's car to this car wash the 1st time this morning. I told the fellow on the intake side I wanted the $28 dollar Platinum wash. He said "leave the key in the car and we'll take care of it." I went inside and the cashier was nice. Paid the $28 on a card and took a seat. I barely had time to read the news on my phone when about 10 minutes later a middle aged fellow came in and said the car is finished. I said: "What? In 10 minutes?" "We've got 5 guys!" he exclaimed. "Wow!" I thought to myself. "These guys must be really great!" I walked to her car in the blinding sunshine and it didn't look like it was that great of a wash and there was no tire dressing. I got in and there was no air freshener smell. That's okay, I don't really like it anyway. Drove straight home in about 15 minutes. The wife came out and we inspected the car. There were soap and light mud streaks in various places. Pollen spots in various places. Dirty spots on the passenger side of the windshield. Light muddy water streaks on the back and sides and again, no tire dressing. She gave me a dressing down - that's for sure. I got back into the car and drove right back. I was met by the intake boss again and I explained to him the problem with the car. I was upset and said for $28 I expected the job to be done right! In fact I told him that if they didn't do it right I was going to be on Yelp and all kinds of Social Media complaining! I showed him that there wasn't even a tire dressing put on. He apologized and said "I'll take care of it. I'll run it through again." I sat there with my phone again for about 10 or 12 minutes and he came into the store and said it was finished. I walked with him out to the car and the front door was conveniently, invitingly open. There was a lot of shiny tire dressing on the tires. He wiped the a little on the left rear quarter panel next to the tail light and said it looks okay now or something to that effect. I'm not one for arguing and I had to pick up my medicine at Walmart so I said "Thanks," and drove off. At the Walmart parking lot without him around and others watching me I gave the vehicle a thorough inspection. It looked like in the 10 minutes I sat there for the 2nd time all they did was hit all 4 tires with tire dressing and wipe the passenger side window and toss in some crappy air freshener which almost choked me to death. For $28 the PLATINUM WASH for a vehicle is supposed to receive the following: VACUUM SEALER WAX TRIPLE POLISH WAX UNDER CARRIAGE WASH TIRE DRESSING SOFT TOWEL DRY FOAM BATH CLEAR COAT PROTECTANT RAIN X WHEEL TREATMENT WINDOWS IN & OUT AIR FRESHENER I just took a couple of photo's when I got home and you can clearly see how lousy this wash and wax job was. Look at everything promised for $28. And what is "Clear Coat Protectant" when there was supposed to be "Sealer Wax and Triple Polish Wax?" Yeah, I sure got a WAX JOB alright! In conclusion I'm 78 and I'm limping with a back operation. I also had open heart surgery with 4 bypasses put in. But I haven't lost my brains or my experience! I started washing and waxing my Father's car and my Mothers car when I was 12. In my teens I worked at a car wash sometimes 10 to 12 hours per day in the summers. I used some of that money to pay for my University education. Through the years I've hand washed many of the cars and trucks I've owned and I've put them through many car washes. In other words, these guys are messing not only with a Senior.. but an old man that's been around 'n done it! So it's said "FAFO" and "Money Talks and B.S. Walks." Those are truisms. They can keep their B.S. phony wash and wax business 'cause I'm taking my money elsewhere. And by the way, so is my son, my daughter-in-law, her mother and several of my friends and neighbors. I could of done as good of job as they did & saved myself money. It wasn't "horrible" but def wasn't great either. I just get disappointed if I pay to have my car cleaned & then I get it back & it's not vacuumed or wiped down really well, to me that defeats the point of going to have my car cleaned. Took my husbands oversized truck as this is really the only place it fits. First and foremost, they did a great job washing it. We live in the country, so it gets REALLY dirty but it was sparkling when they were finished. Unfortunately we had an item that we had purchased in the back seat which blew out while they were vacuuming and got run over. While salvageable, it sucked. The gentleman (I'm assuming owner) cleaned the item as best he could, offered to replace said item free of charge (which I declined, but appreciated), and proceeded to give me a voucher for a free wash. I paid $28 and they barely vacuumed. Didn't vacuum in between seats or under the mat. They seemed to just vacuum the floor mat and nothing else. Didn't wipe down inside of door or cupholders either. BUT COME ON why even pay for something they aren't giving effort on.The front person outside was to busy talking on the phone while I was trying to ask some questions and didn't really explain to me the difference of VIP and Platinum. They left my rims dirty which I had to do myself later on and left small scratches. And REMINDER it's a 2025 car, I just got this car 2 weeks ago and I am disappointed on the service they are doing. I asked for the Gold car wash. I have no complaints about the wash itself, my windows were nice and clean. I even tipped $10 for a $24 wash. When I went to leave my drivers seat was as low as it could go and as far back as it would go. I hit the seat memory button and it only tried to go back further. I was so pissed I wanted to go ask for my tip back, but I didn't. Instead, I will ask that you hold your tip until the very end. I will not go out of my way to go to that car wash again. read more

Came here originally for a car wash to be honest they didn't do a great job - the Windshield was left dirty and saw a few other details that were over looked. I came back because I realized that you end up paying almost the same amount for a nice hand car wash than just running it through a machine and weird huge hair dryer that doesn't even get all of the water spots off. Their top of the line is like $25 - soapy joes or any other drive thru car wash is damn nearly 20$ ...... I do not understand why you would even opt to go to another shop. You can get your car waxed for 60$ .... That's amazing. Gonna have to get the girlfriends car waxed here tomorrow. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We brought in our 2005 Ford Expedition. It was dirty from sitting on a dusty property for a while. Dog hair inside. It needed a deep clean and I knew it. I asked the guys what it would cost to get it CLEAN. One guy recommend $60 for a vacuum. Then I talked to Ceasar who told me that it would take $170 to get it really clean. I said, okay, I'll spend the money to get it really clean but I want it CLEAN. When I came back to check on the car I was very disappointed. There is still hair all over the car, windows still dirty, center console and glove box un cleaned, And that's what they call a "detail" job. We pointed out the issues we saw, and they cleaned 'some' with a poor attitude. Ceasar in particular was giving my husband a hard time for pointing things out, and over-sprayed my husband in the face with cleaner. If they couldn't do the job for $170, they should've told me up front. This wasn't an easy job and we all knew it but that's not an excuse to do a half-ass job. Won't be going back, ever. read more

This morning I went to Valley Car wash and purchased a "Gold" carwash for $24.00. When they told me the car is ready my carcar was not clean. It still had lots of yellow pollen spots all over. The windshield on the inside was not washed at all and the outside had big streaks on it. The person I talked to called the foreman Carlos and he argued saying, " Let me explain: you don't get a clean car without paying $28. This is it for me!! I will never go back! Everyone can make mistakes, but not rectifying the mistake and putting it on the customer is not how Business is done. read more

I had to get this review in as soon as I left this place to give you a full fresh experience here. I pulled in and it was super slow and was so excited since they were all standing around for work. I was like GREAT they are going to want to really get my car clean since I was the only one. My undercarriage was really dirty muddy and that the whole reason I came. The front desk said the basic wouldn't get the undercarriage so pay the platinum the get that included, okay great. They were done with my car super quick. I was utterly shocked I walked out STILL A BUNCH OF BUILD up and I asked if they had a power washer AT A CARWASH since that's why I paid so much. They put my car back through the wash. I was about to get in the car and noticed how dirty the inside still was dust, dog hair still very visible. I asked if they did the inside TWICE and both times yeah we did. I am never one to say anything I worked in customer service for over 10 years. I GET IT. I grabbed the rag from the gentleman and just started wiping down the surfaces air vents etc. the guy was just staring at me. Not even offering the make it right with me. I sat there cleaning while I had already paid for the most expensive service. I got out of there quickly so annoyed at this whole experience and this is what I get for attempting to go local. I desperately needed a carwash, as I just got a new job where I will be driving a lot, and due to Covid-19 closures, I can't go and vacuum it myself anywhere. This place is open! So I dropped it off and picked it up later. My car was FULL of dog hair, dirt and sand because the dogs and I go hiking and beach a lot. I mean, my car was TERRIBLE. I did the mini detail. Did they do a good job? Yes. Big difference. Is it perfect? No. But I totally get that sand sticks like glue. I can't even get it out of some parts. But they did do better than I can do. I felt like the cost was a little high, for a mini detail? $149. Maybe/maybe not. I didn't shop around. They did forget to give me all the stuff back that I had in my trunk. Today o asked for VIP because it had been 3 weeks since I had done the inside, cup holder dash everything that needed to be done including the ceramic coat outside. My family and I have taken our vehicles to Escondido Valley Car Wash in the past and have not had any issues. Upon taking my car to them Dec 21st 2023 the car came out of the wash and the rear back rim was completely ruined. Visible dents and scratches where made to the remaining 3 wheels. Not only did the manager on duty tell me "I must have brought the car there damaged" after his employee admitted responsibility, I was treated rudely and completely dismissed. No effort was made to resolve the issue and the police had to be called after management got aggressive and confrontational. DO NOT TAKE YOU VEHICLE TO THE THIS CAR WASH AND IF YOU DO CHECK YOUR WHEELS FOR DAMGE. The manager immediately began checking the other vehicles washed tires in hopes no one else would notice any scratches or damage to their tires with out taking any accountability or even attempting to resolve the situation in a level responsible way. No insurance information was exchanged and the police could do nothing in my behalf. My father passed away 2 weeks ago and this was his prized vehicle. After not driving the car for months the first place I was able to take it to was this place. The biggest regret ever! Please do not support this terrible business. read more

I dropped in this place about three weeks ago, it was a weekday mid morning, and I was pleasantly surprised that there was no one there. Except one guy getting a detail, well half an hour later, I found out why there's nobody there. It might be cheap, But it's not even worth a cheap price. Absolutely the worst car wash I've ever been to they missed spots on the chrome, spots on the paint, they didn't clean my front wheels, which had brake dust on them. Just an overall terrible car wash, I will never darken their door again. Don't bother going here unless you're too lazy to go to the self wash. read more
