I have taken my bmw 2 times to this shop the employees are nice but dont know how to do their job first time took it for to change spark plug and they forgot to plug in a wire connection my bmw started giving me errors i had to fix it myself 2nd time i asked them to order some cosmetic parts made an appointment to go install it i got there and nobody orderes parts. I took my Sprinter RV tp Prestige Auto Tech for service because they advertise that they are experts in servicing this kind of vehicle. They did a good job of giving my RV a major tuneup. However, they improperly removed the lugs on the wheels of my RV when putting on new tires. As a result they could not put them back on. After a number of phone calls with Christian, the problem was resolved when they agreed to compensate me for the parts and labor. I appreciate this kind of response to the problem. I know that even the best intentioned companies make mistakes. What singles out the good ones is that they correct those mistakes. That's what they did in this case. I've taken my Toyota Prius to these guys twice for power failures. The first time a fuse box blew and had to be replaced ($1000 for diagnostics and repairs). The second time my car stopped and they changed the water pumps ($2100 after diagnostics and repairs). What really hurt was each time of received the car back I had hybrid battery problems. Even worse, I just changed the hybrid battery less than 2 months ago and when I got my car back for the water pumps my new hybrid battery is now dead. I'm not a good enough mechanic with hybrid vehicles, but this place is VERY expensive and VERY suspect, STAY AWAY! read more

Prestige has the most professional team. They are truly honest and work with you to get the work done. I had my car there for an oil change and they washed my car for me afterwards. When I needed engine work done, the mechanics called me before they took anything out. When parts needed to be replaced I was offered the option of ordering brand new, rebuilt, OEM , or aftermarket. It was nice to be told what options I had and the price point. At the end of the day, I spent a little bit more because I opted for the OEM parts. Took my car in for an oil change. My car was new to me so is was unfamiliar with its service history. Of course "their inspection" found I needed a host of services: fuel injector service, change engine air filter, change cabin air filter, flush brake system, service differential. I said no. I did some investigation: the brake system was flushed and all the air filters were changed on the car 6 months earlier. Their inspection obviously showed a way to make more money. The car manufacture does not recommend a differential service at the mileage interval I was at, and reading about injector service, it's a chump sale. These people are not honest. I am happy I said no to many services that were unneeded. I will never go back to this dishonest business. Beware and be informed if you dare walk in their door read more

I took my car for service here and was pleased with the result of the customer service. I got a 60000 mile service done on my VW Passat early in 2020. Recently, I bought another vehicle, had it inspected by a dealer approximately 5-6 months ago when it was first purchased - Toyota Highlander - and needed to get an oil change, same great customer service from them. However, they provided me with an assessment saying that my rear brakes were in very bad shape and I need to get the rear rotors completed replaced as well as the brakes. I asked them to provide me a quote which was approximately $610 out the door with taxes. After speaking with my dad, who got the inspection done when the vehicle was first bought, he said I should take it to a dealer, just to be on the safe side. Last week, I did just that, explaining to them I was looking to get my rear brakes replaced and they stated they would look it over, provide me an estimate before doing any work. Once inspected the dealer called and said the rear brake pads still had half the life left and the rotors didn't need to be replaced, they just needs to be rotated. On top of that, should I needed to replace those items, the dealer was $90 less. Unfortunately, unhonest people are working at this place. I would not recommend them. read more

Questionable experience...I held off on writing this review initially. I brought my vehicle in as we were new to the area and followed Yelp reviews. All started well - friendly atmosphere and slick little boutique shop. Expected routine maintenance (brakes) and ended up with a lengthy laundry list and a $2000 bill. So ok maybe some things were due at this point. Then, I take the car and within 2 blocks the check engine light comes on. I return and end up having to spend another $1000 to replace several parts of the catalytic system. When I go to pay the bill it is $250 over what was quoted. I challenge this and the rep check and gives me an explanation, but still starts off again with the wrong amount until I remind him of the error. Still thinking maybe this is all coincidence, but we chose to move on and switch to a new mechanic. Now 4 months later I again have the same check engine and exhaust system issue. I have moved on and when I share the receipt with my new mechanic, he tells me tells me that they replaced excess parts that normally don't need to be replace. Hmmmm.....I won't be going back there for sure! Get a second opinion before trusting this shop. read more
