I was ripped off by this Company - Never Use Them!!! There Drivers are Excellent but the Owner/Manager is a crook and a Liar. They sent me the wrong type of tow truck to extract my car from a garage. Then they sent me the correct on and charged me $175.00 for the wrong one and then $95.00 for the correct one. He specifically told me they would NOT charge me for the first attempt because there was no towing done. I called to have him explain and he denied the conversation. I respectfully asked him to reconsider his decision on the basis of good business and he said no. I called Prestige Auto Towing to assist with transporting my trailer, and was so lucky that Ralph answered my call. It turned out that the trailer was parked in a location that was very tough to extract. Ralph provided the most top-notch, professional service, and was so incredibly kind and persistent throughout the complicated process. He went above and beyond to help me with various unexpected issues that arose, and was extremely careful to avoid damaging the trailer. My pick up truck got towed from the Condominium where I just moved 2 days ago because they had the "Park Head in Only Rule". Anyway, I accept it. My complain is the following: I called the towing company PRESTIGE AUTO TOWING at 5 am that is when I noticed my vehicle was towed, because I was leaving to go to work. They told me I could not pick up my truck until 8 am because office did not open until 8 am. I though that was RIDICULOUS, people need their cars, trucks, etc to get to work. I was at 8 am at the office paying to retrieve my property and the person at the window tells me now instead of $165.00 is $185.00 because there is a extra storage fee of $20.00 because they kept my truck for more than 6 hrs!!!! I said you guys would not give me my vehicle at 5 am because your office was CLOSED. Obviously they did not care and they added $20.00, what other choice I had. That should be illegal, they should not charge for storage if they don't have the availability to release car at any time. I lost 3 plus hours of work because of the inflexible schedule, are they going to reimburse me for that??? read more

This review is for Prestige Auto Towing, http://www.prestigetowingservice.com/. As there are multiple towing company with this name, I want to make sure that I a reviewing the correct one. On 25 Aug 2016 at approximately 9:50 AM I called and spoke with Antonio. I explained that I had a vehicle that I needed removed from my property. I had already arranged to have it salvaged and needed the towing service. I could have used my AAA account but as I was working today, I needed to have a smaller window of service that AAA could provide. Antonio said that they would be happy to help me for a fee of $125. In fact as a courtesy, if I had the title in hand they would assist with the transfer and make sure that it would be recorded as salvage. The yard we were taking it to offered $140, minus the $125 and what ever fee the tag agency would charge to record the bill of sales we would break even. Yes, I could use AAA and pocket the $140, but I preferred the convenience that Prestige was offering. I asked Antonio if he would allow me to contact my insurer to confirm if this was a safe business practice. After getting the OK from my insurer and double checking with the FLHSMV I called Antonio back at 10:40 to arrange a time for the pick up. We agreed on a window between 12:30 and 1:00 which would allow me to take an extended lunch to have time to meet the tow truck. At 12:50 I called back to see how much longer it would take for them to arrive. I spoke with Lee who told me Antonio was at lunch but would be back shortly and will call me. At 1:05 I again called to determine how much more time was needed. Lee answered and said that Antonio was now out on a call but the truck was en route. He explained that there was an issue which delayed the truck they promised. He said that it was already dispatched and promised that it would be there between 2:00 and 3:00. I returned to work and arranged to be back at the property at that time. I called again at 2:30 and 3:00 again being told that the truck was on its way but now was expected at 4:00. At 4:15 I called and Lee answered again. I asked to speak with Ramiro the business owner or another manager on duty. After 10 minutes on hold I was disconnected. It is now 5:00 and I am still waiting for a tow that was promised at 12:30. TLDR: If you don't mind waiting all day for a no-show, then Prestige Auto Towing is the service for you! read more

I've personally never felt the need to complain about a company until now. I called Prestige Towing to purchase my older - but still running - vehicle. The driver arrived and when I was about to remove my tag, he told me not to, because he needed to verify there were no holds on my car. I thought it was odd, and I was sure there were no "Holds" because it was a paid car for many years. The driver went on with this story about fines and with the tag and VIN number. Long story short, he convinced me that I owed over $1,000.00 in fines! But that he had a "friend" that worked with the parking authority that could resolve it. He took the car in lieu of these fines. I went and checked these claims on every parking, tag, license authority website and there were no holds on either the VIN or tag. I have since tried calling Antonio (the manager) on numerous occasions, I've sent an email, and my daughter has gone there at least five times and he is either out to lunch or away! It's now been over two weeks and they are avoiding me. I had the worst service ever today. The driver was very degrading from the onset. He was degrading at my apartment but I brushed it off. But then it got worse. I had my car towed from my apartment to Kendal Toyota and I was humiliated by the tow truck driver for asking the service people where to put my car since there was no space. The tow truck driver became irrate and embarrassed me and threatening to charge me more if he has to wait. I had to remind him that he's not doing me a favor, that I'm the customer. He wouldn't get out of the truck for me sign as a human I just gave him his $70.000 through and went to the service people because now car was being let down near the street. I was soo embarrassed. I just called thier office and the management was apologetic. My advice, be careful when calling for towing service because one of their driver is very unprofessional has the potential to be dangerous. read more
