I really wanted to like this place since I have two classic cars to reupholster and I live just around the corner. I brought my headliner to get repaired, $375 not a lot and not a little so I was hoping for mid quality work. I was told my piece was ready and when I went they misshaped it, gave them another chance to fix it and all they did is threw another layer of insulated fabric on top. I got something back that looked really unprofessional and I even asked the guy "you really think this is $375 worth of work?" I paid the guy then headed home to install the headliner myself, the guy put SO MUCH MATERIAL on my headliner that the center sagged a good 6 inches low. I reached out twice to the guy to see what can be done to right this wrong but he decided to ghost me. I'm not the one to start problems at a business so I just want the people to know what kind of business is being ran here. read more

This place is literally incredible and saved my life. I recently bought an AMG C43 that came with gorgeous performance seats. The issue is the foam in the seat bottom was extremely firm. Firm to the point that it started to hurt after driving for about 45 minutes. I started to panic and thought I made the wrong choice purchasing this car. Fast forward to Carlos - I brought my car to his shop where I saw several awesome cars he was working on; a Ferrari, a classic early 90's S class, an old Jeep, etc. He checked out my seats and said he could replace the foam without a problem. He even had me come by his shop while the seats were out to test different types of foam so I could select exactly what I wanted. I got the car back and I was absolutely blown away - the seats were WORLD'S better than before. Also, I'm a HUGE pain in the ass as a customer. I went back a couple times after because I'm pretty OCD about stuff (100% my fault not his) and asked him to switch out the foam for another type and he did it with a huge smile the entire time and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to do so. Lastly, the price. When he quoted me the cost for both seats, I couldn't believe it. I was expecting it to be a lot higher than what he told me. Even when I went back to tweak some things, he never once gouged me. More importantly, he was patient, pleasant and extremely professional the entire time. The best find! My mechanic recommended Prestige Auto Upholstery and I am very happy he did. I was in the midst of the 'do I keep my 2010 with 115k Acura or lease / buy something new' place. The car is fine, the upholstery had several tears and it was not pleasant to drive with. I drove over to the place and met Juan Carlos who was unbelievably sweet and respectful. I had gotten a bid elsewhere and while the quotes were fairly close, Prestige was able to match the exact seat type (perforated leather style). The car was finished early, only a couple of days and the shop takes Zelle, keeping payment simple. The shop is owned and run by three brothers and the shop has been around for 20+ years. Highly recommend Juan Carlos to start with and hopefully all brothers are equally as special and talented. They likely are after being in business for so many years. I now have a car that feels new. It had a couple of small dents and scratches taken out (see other review for Sal's Westside Mobile Paint) and between the two, I feel like I'm in a new car (minus all the new upgrades). The leather heated driver's side seat of our 2009 Camry was disintegrating with the heater wires sticking out. Sergio is the best. Brought my 2006 Lexus IS350 in with a sizeable tear in the drivers seat. He assessed the situation, gave me what I felt was a reasonable estimate and then told me he could have the car done in 4 hours. That blew me away. I had a bud pick me up, we went for some food and drinks........... Side note: they don't take credit cards. Cash or check only, But.......... Came back in the allotted 4 hour time and Wow............. My seat is perfect. I mean perfect. If makes my passenger side seat jealous. I had already decided this was gonna be a week or longer wait and boy was I wrong. This place rules! I came to prestige to get service done on my car. I had a hole and two busted seems in the driver seat of my vehicle that needed repair. I came here to prestige to get a quote for the services. The quote that he gave me was much higher than the other quote that I got from another place, but the other place had terrible customer service and canceled my appointment. I was actually hoping Prestige would be able to match that quote but they were unable to do that and I needed the service done so I agreed to pay the higher quote. The work they did was exceptional, it was fast as it only took about six hours, and the customer service from Carlos was great. The only reason why I'm not giving them a full five stars is because they take cash only. You would think that in 2018 that cash-only would be a thing of the past with so many different ways to be able to accept payment. But other than that if I ever need upholstery again these are my guys. read more

PERFECT !!! I just picked up my 2009 Subaru Forester and the work done by Sergio was absolutely amazing. He reupholstered the front bucket seats. They had sun damage, cracking, and tearing, and now they look brand new. I was so happy with the work and he did the job in record time. The leather is perfectly matched with the back seats. The stitching was spot on and the center of the seats had a perforated leather that looks like it was right from the Subaru factory. After having called and visited 6 body shops and 5 upholstery shops in Hollywood and Silver Lake and being given a lot of "we can't do it" and "is it really necessary for us to fix that?", I finally found an upholstery shop willing to do the work to repair a broken speaker grille on my 2012 VW Eos. I bought the replacement speaker grille and was simply looking for someone to instal it. I called Prestige and spoke to a nice man named Carlos and he said he would look at it. I drove there, thinking that I would get the same answer as I did at the other upholstery and body shops, but was pleasantly surprised when I learned that Carlos could do it, and that he was just a meticulous and attentive to detail as me. He even said he could treat some scrapes on the side of the door with dye to make them look less noticeable (something NONE of the other places offered). I'm pretty happy with the service I received here and will most likely go out of my way to get upholstery work done here. read more

The shop does great work with attention to detail. They've done a few of my cars now. So happy with the way the top came out on my 63 Vette. Even though I forgot to ask, they sprayed out the old top frame a nice clean black again before putting on the new top. And, weeks later, did a window frame adjustment right on the spot. Don't be fooled by shop that looks a bit messy and disorganized. Any car interior leather or upholstery work should come out looking fantastic, even better than new in many cases. They can color match just about anything and the quality of both the materials and workmanship is really excellent. I've had them do some repair work on my Ferrari interior in the past and, more recently, Sergio re-upholstered some cushions for a breakfast nook in my house w/ auto leather and they came out looking gorgeous. Their prices are not cheap by any means, but not outrageous either. Also they are fairly fast too. Depending on the complexity of the job, turn around time is quite good. Would not hesitate to go there again for any auto leather upholstery issues. read more
