This was the one the best experiences, I drove by and asked for my driver seat to be repaired the cushion was warn and the leather was worn-out and separated at the seams , Andrei said bring it in when they open up in the morning and he will get it done by end of day. Not only did it get done earlier then expected, he also added more cushion to my arm rest as a nice surprise and touched up a few scuffs in another area. The guy came out when I pulled up in my truck. He took one look at the bench seat and immediately knew it was from an E30. That was my first good impression, to me all bench seats look alike. I asked him: I had purchased racing seats for the front and wanted the rear bench seat to match. Usually anyone else would give me the run around: "oh it won't be stock anymore!" But no, immediately he knew what I wanted and pulled out some tailor's chalk and drew up what he was thinking which was perfectly what I was thinking. Then he said something I could barely believe: "it'll be done tomorrow." I couldn't believe it when the next day I got the text: "your seats are ready!" And they were perfect. PERFECT. identical colors, identical material, identical design - it was like the rear seat was made by the company that made the racing seats. I couldn't be more pleased. My seat was all torn up in my truck so I decided to take it to New Life Upholstery on Reseda Boulevard here in Reseda, Ca. I called them up for a quote on upholstery repair service and he gave me a quote over the phone and told me that if I was ready to bring it in the next day. I brought my truck in the next day and he said it will be done within 5 to 6 hours, cause it was a simple job they just needed to reupholstered the bottom section of my seat for the drivers side in my truck. The quality of the work really shows in the cars that they were working on in the building at the moment and the finished product of my seat in my truck. I attached some images to this review so people could see their set up and how many different options and colors and materials and whatever you needed they have. He told me to pick it up at 2 PM and that was it. If you check in on yelp, you get 5% off so I did that and got even better value than the original estimate. What can I say they do great work and give great service. If I ever need my seats upholstered ever again I would be coming back for sure and I recommend anybody who needs their seats or any kind of fabric or leather fixed in their car to come here to New Life Upholstery on Reseda Boulevard. read more

For the last 2 months I've been looking for an auto upholstery shop that can redo my Acura factory front leather seats. I got the run around from 3 other shops (2 very well known ones in the Valley and one outside of LA County). It was really frustrating to say the least. Broken promises, no shows on the other upholsterer's part, no call back when they said they would... I guess they didnt need my business. They didnt get it... I drove to New Life Upholstery after one of those no-shows. I first reached out to New Life Upholstery via direct message on their Instagram account. Someone replied back to me within 30 minutes to let me know they can get me a quote as soon as the owner (Andrei) was back at the shop. I sent them pics of the current state of my seats and center armrest. I got a reply the next day when Andrei was back around lunch time. He gave me a quote, I had lots of questions and they were all answered. My car is 28 years old so I cannot buy ready made Katzkin covers so the seats needed custom work to be done. I came to the right place... I saw the quality work they were doing at the shop. Upholstery jobs much bigger than mine, way more involved than mine. I was impressed.... My car is my baby so it's hard for me to bring it just anywhere. And especially striking out with other auto upholstery shops... Andrei assured me he would take care of my car, he promised the seats would look great and we agreed on a price. I dropped off my car one morning and 2 days later I got a call it was done. The turnaround time was impressive. The work they did on my seats was great. They brought my seats back to life. Andrei & his team did what I asked them to do and more. I have a Cadillac CT6 the sunroof broke it would not open only a little bit. I called around. I got various prices. What would have to be done to fix it but when I called and Andre told me to bring the car in he told me exactly what was wrong with my sunroof that it needed a new liner and it would take him one day to fix it, but it would take a while to order the part about a week so far seems like he did a great job. Hello everyone, The interior door panels of my 6-9, Cadillac Deville convertible were well worn and raggedy. I shopped around and received either no bids or outrageous costs! Every classic car owner can attest to the difficulties finding anyone reputable and reasonably priced. I often hear/d no, no, no. New Life happened to be around the corner from my mechanic at Vince's Automotive, so I would pass New Life often! I decided that since I wasn't getting a new car anytime soon, I was going to upgrade my interior. I have a 2012 4Runner that had clothe interior but after 8+ years, the seats were shot! Not only did he Re- Fabricated the cushioning making them stiffer bringing them to new life, the level of craftsmanship of the custom leather seats look like it's straight out of a Ferrari. I have a CLK 430 2001 Cabriolet that needed a new top and to replace the front seat covers. After visiting several upholstery shops recommended to me and getting some astronomic prices or having some sketchy conversations, I found New Life Upholstery online and read through their reviews. I'm very glad I did. Most companies don't have many reviews, let alone good ones, so when I saw they had many great reviews, I read through them and it made me feel comfortable. The owner at New Life Upholstery is honest and discusses things in a straightforward way, and also charges a fair price, not the lowest or the highest. He communicated throughout the process and kept his word every step of the way. Because the 3rd party top I ordered needed to reuse my existing window, plus my old headliner and plastic trim, they ran into a small challenge, which cost a little bit extra, but nothing significant, something like 10% of the original estimated price. He let me know up front that may be the case. Most importantly he and his team did a beautiful job and my car looks like new! Having a job well done was especially important for me, as my car used to belong to my father and I plan to have it for many decades to come before I pass it down to my own children. I have since taken my car back a few smaller things, including adjusting the way the convertible top hooks into the car and creates a seal, and reglue the upholstery near the speaker on the lower part of the door, and the service has been excellent, the quality great, and the price fair. Also, they work pretty quickly, you don't have to wait long to see your car renewed! New Life Upholstery really knows their work and do a great job, and are also a pleasure to work with.
