I dropped 7 items off in May of 2025 and have still not received the entirety of my items back. I was never called to come pick them up and when I would go to pick them up I was either met with them "not being ready yet" ( for up to 3 months post drop off) or the whole office being shut down. That is until August when I went for my last time to find a note on the door saying that they have permanently closed and I had still never received my items so I left a note on the door that was never followed up on. I would like a service member to reach out to me so that I can identify my items and get back what was mine. I am extremely unhappy with my experience. read more

The place assured us they would starch the things we wanted starched. That didn't happen. And it's too far from home compared to other places, so we'll just keep getting our clothes done elsewhere. read more

I dropped off my outdoor patio chair pillow covers to be cleaned due to the pollen that had fallen on them during the early spring. I had to pay in advance because their new policy indicates that you have to pay when you drop off for service...cool, not a problem. Most recently, the Tallahassee area was hit with a pretty bad storm that caused the store to flood, which also caused them to have to live their inventory to their another location. Now that they are back open again, I went to pick up my pillow covers and to no avail, no one knows where they are nor will anyone return my call and at least try to resolve the issue. Ive called numerous times for the manager and each time, the employees tell me that he is not in but they will have him to give me a call; he still has not reached out to me. I called last Saturday 5/22/24, and he just happen to be at the store and I was able to speak with him. He promised me that he would look for the covers and if he could not locate them, he would work out something with me and that he would call me back by 2pm. Here it is, June 1, 2024, and he still has not called me. I'm here at the store this very moment as Intype this review, and there are no pillow covers and no one can reach him, except via text message. The young lady that waited on me took a picture of my ticket and said she would send it to him and hope to get a response. This is totally unacceptable, and I will NEVER use their services again. I am a teacher at Tallahassee Community College and I have been using Prestige Cleaners for a year now. When I drop off my clothes, its usually received and personally done by the lady that worked there. I've gotten all types of colors of clothing done the same way every time and never had a problem until last week. I dropped my clothes off on a Tuesday (5/23) like normal and she was there to receive them like she normally does. When I arrived on Thursday (5/25) at 3:10pm to pick up and head out of town. I was told by a guy I've never seen there before that it wouldn't be done until 5pm. So I left to go home only to him calling me 15 mins later to tell me it was ready. Once I arrived 30 mins later my clothes could not be found. The owner Zach Williams had taken my clothes and others to go make delivers (something I never experienced here before nor asked for). I never met the owner so I assume he is the one who cleaned my clothes. He then shows up 3 hours later with my clothes only to offer a apology and ask for a payment. Once I was able to get on the road "3" hours later and got to a destination I opened my clothes to find out that all of my "Newly" white shirts looked like I've had them for years. They were no longer "White" as they were when I brought them in but light brown and had stains all through them. I immediately took pictures and texted the owner to tell him since he had my number from dropping my clothes off to me 3 hours later that day. His response was to bring them back to him so he could see them. I knew that the lady didn't clean my shirts because she always does a outstanding job no matter the colors of the garment. Once I arrived back in town today (5/30) I took the shirts by there. The guy who was at the register looks at my shirts and instantly knew it was something someone did wrong on their end and he looked over every shirt. When the owner Zach Williams walks in a few minutes after he takes a look at the shirts and notices all of the problems but starts to make assumptions that it might be from prespiration (sweat) or something like sweat can turn a white louis Vuitton, Amiri, and Gucci shirt "brown" that was white when I brought them in to the cleaners. The lady who received them looked over all of my clothes and seen how nice they were when I dropped them off as I deal with only her all of the time except for this day. He never even thought to even offer me a discount for anything but asked me to pay for the others and that he would "try" to fix my "ruined" shirts. Not even a simply reply when asked what If they can't be fixed. As a teacher in this community I am mad as hell for the type of excuses this guy tried to come up with for my shirts. This is my second time using this company and I was disappointed both times. The first time I dropped off my white comforter during the holidays (about the second week of December) and I was not called that it was ready until after the New year in January. I decided to give them another chance and today I just picked up my white comforter (after waiting for two weeks this time) and it still looks the way I left it. Not completely white, still has a yellow tint to it and now it smells like outside. I doubt they washed it and their service is awful. Do not recommend. Waste of $25 and they make you pay when you drop it off to be cleaned. They don't even have big enough machines at their facility because they send it off to another location which is another bad sign! read more

I dropped of 6 expensive Robert Graham shirts to be cleaned, pressed and medium starched. I requested deodorant stain removal under all of the arm pit areas. When I picked up the shirts they were perfectly done as requested. The counter staff is friendly, they are located on the West side of Tallahassee (close to me LOL), and they seem to do superior work. The only weird thing is the cow bell which must be rung to get the counter staff to come out from the back. No matter how hard I rang the bell it only agitated the neighboring business and did not get the attention of the dry cleaner personnel. So just walk around the counter and open the door if you have to LOL read more

UPDATE TO MY PRIOR REVIEW: My wife convinced me to give this cleaners a second chance since we had been using them for many, many years and the Killearn location was very convenient. On December 22, 2018, she dropped off 33 of my shirts to have them laundered. I went to pick them up the other day and found them on the floor in a corner of the business. The clerk told me that since I had given the business a bad review, the owner had refused to launder my shirts and told the staff to simply let the shirts sit on the floor until they were picked up. They did not call to tell me that they were not going to launder my shirts, just et them sit on the floor. Just another example of the horrible customer service and the kind of petty, small minded, vindictive nature of the owner. I've been a customer for 20 years of the Killearn location. I routinely take 2 weeks worth of dress shirts for wash/starch. I've had a couple of minor issues with their services in the past but nothing like what happened recently. They ruined a $50 blue dress shirt - it came back with a huge 6" "V" shaped bleach stain on back. I contacted the owner and said that I knew there was nothing he could do to correct the damage but was hoping that in exchange he might wash/starch a batch of shirts at no charge (usually runs approximately $30). Owner was condescending, said no, said I had waited too long to bring the matter to their attention, and implied that somehow I had damaged the shirt myself. His offer was to wash/starch 2 shirts ($6). I told him I would take my business elsewhere. I'll never use this cleaners again. read more

Hands down BEST cleaners in Tallahassee! The girls always have my clothes pulled from the rack and ready for me when I walk in the door (I guess they watch for customers who pull in) so I'm ready to pay and go quickly. They also have a drive thru which is really convenient for when I have the kids in the car with me. I've not once had an unpleasant experience with Prestige and they will continue to get my dry cleaning business. I'll also continue recommending them to everyone I know. read more

First time coming here I was iffy. I had an expensive pair of jeans from Saint Laurent that had bad stains. I usually have bad experiences with taking casual clothes to cleaners but they did a tremendous job with my jeans. The stains are out & there are no signs of color fading or mishaps! I highly recommend this place and will always go back to them. read more
