She told us the trailer had a new generator and was wired and "everything worked and had been cleaned" total lies! When we received the trailer the generator was very old, not wired correctly, roof leaks, propane leaking into living area (found out after we used a detector) and no carbon monoxide or smoke detectors working in the trailer at time of purchase. Light switches broken off wall and not working. Tire tread missing. Cabinets were broken and trailer was so dirty. Cigarette butts on the torn couch and the toilet had "waste" in it!!! We told her we didn't want the trailer because of the untruths that were conveyed. She told us "you bought it and it's yours now". No service after the sale. I wish I had read all these reviews prior to purchasing. I feel like a fool being so trusting and hopefully our attorney can be more "effective".

So, I reschedule and bring my personal checkbook. The closing was 1.5 hours late, so they crammed in the so-called orientation before the closing, which was cut short. Before we even left the dealership, some trim in the bathroom was loose/poorly installed. Salesman said "oh, we are going to order those pieces and replace them". Well, the trailer was to be delivered due to its size, and I offered to come pick up the trim pieces and install them myself. I checked in with them at the 1 month, 2 month, and 3 month points. "I am sure they are here somewhere" "i will look for them right now and call you back" "I appreciate your patience, exactly which pieces were you wanting?". At around 6 months, I sent an email to the manager and the salesman, telling them how they dropped me in the grease, they said whatever they had to to get me off their back, hoping, I guess that I would go away. Well, that technique worked, I am done with them and with Camping World, hence, this review, after I sold the trailer, and for sure did not need them anymore. This is a sales organization, if anything goes right-it's an accident. And the reputation around the country isn't any better.

RV General Store "Service Center" of Newcastle, Oklahoma, was extremely unprofessional, and in my…read moreopinion unethical. Employees are untrained, no full disclosure, very bad experience, shame on you, RV General Store! First issue, I took the RV in for Hail damage repair. My RV has an upgraded hitch system, the service employees were not familiar with it, so they wanted to charge two hours of labor to disconnect and two hours to reconnect the RV. I showed them how to do it (3 minutes), then I helped them get the hitch connected to the forklift, they almost forgot to put the pin in that holds the RV to the forklift. I pointed out that the pin was missing to hold the hitch in place and the employee standing there said, "oh ya!" I should have known better then, there would be a problem. Second, according to my insurance company (AAA) RV General Store was charging double the amount of labor needed. Third, I was NOT told of a $275 fee for the trailer inspection, when I requested to see a written agreement, they argued, and said they had no signed paper, but would not release the trailer, until it was paid, and added that the RV General service writer employee that received me; upon drop off, was "not the best" service writer. Fourth, hooking my trailer hitch back up to my truck, I discovered that a bar on my hitch was bent, I pointed this out, and the individual helping me said "how could we have done that?". Fifth, my hitch utilizes safety pins to keep from unlatching and I left them in place, so that it wouldn't come disconnected, while they were hauling it around the yard. They were missing when I picked up the trailer and when I pointed out they were missing, the individual that was helping me said, "Why would someone take those?" and "I will sell you more." So, they were hauling the trailer around the yard without them, obviously, not concerned about it coming unlatched. I had to find something to work in place of the pins I had and stop at Walmart on my way home to buy some locks. I would NOT recommend anyone use this service center, they are unprofessional and untrained. I will never go there again. (Image with hand shows bent metal)

I bought a new RV in July 2023 from RV general store, I have had one disappointment after another…read moresince, not only with the Gulfstream Rv but with RV General Store as well. The Rv lacks in any quality and is poorly built, I have owned it for less than a year and had to fix the bench seat to the dinette after it broke the first time I sat on it. It should have supported more weight than I put on it, my weight is under 200 lbs and the weight rating well exceeded that, the finish on the cabinet door bubbled and split, and now the battery that came on the RVwont take charge and has to be replaced at my expense. When I bought the RV, their sales girl came in to sell me all the extras she could and did manage to sell me a weight distribution hitch which I'm. it sure what cost because they buried the cost of it in the RV price, but what I do know is if she would have told me this hitch weighed half my body weight and that I might have problems using one this heavy, but then there wouldn't have been a sale and I guess that matters more than their customers satisfaction. I have called RV General Store to no avail or help with any of this. No service after the sale I guess. no future business I know.
