I've looked for 5 years for a good nail place in Edmond and I have now found one. Kim is the absolute best nail tech I have ever had. She communicates with me about what I want but also let's her creative side out. She is so through, and talented! And she's funny, makes me laugh the whole time. She really listens to how my nails hold up since I work with my hands. I've always been the one to walk in to the nail salon but now I make appointments to just see her. She's the BEST! read more

I scheduled my eyebrows to be micro-bladed with Tracy and I was 15 minutes late but she was so gracious about it. Then she spoke with me about how the procedure would go.. It took about 3 hours. Wow! Two words, nice nasty... I came got my nails done, picked out a color, the pallet was snatched from me the female was very rude her boss tried to keep face but she couldn't do all of the work! But other than that they were touchy and flirty with my boyfriend not extremely but to the point where I'm noticing it. Seriously don't listen to these negative reviews. I'm SO picky about where I go for my nails and this is the best place! I have felt welcomed since day one and have come to know everyone here so well! Most salons will rush through your service but not at Prestige! From the start the staff were so friendly! I've had some bad experiences at other salons, and Tracy made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The staff had wonderful humor, and the environment was really positive. It was $45 for a fill with gel, which I think is a really good price especially for the effort that Tracy put in. I received a gift certificate here and came with my daughter to get a mani/ pedi. When I arrived, I noticed that the certificate was only good for 3 months after purchase date. 3 months?! What company creates a gift certificate that is only good for 3 months? Oh yeah, these guys. I asked if they would still honor it, or a least a portion, and they told me it was "impossible". Know what's impossible, that I'll ever return to this salon. Against better judgement, we went ahead and stayed to get manicures. We had made the trip, my daughter was excited, how bad could it be? Ha. When we didn't add all the extra services - shellac, paraffin wax, whatever - they suddenly became mute, brusque robots. I think the only time the manicurist even spoke to my daughter was to ask how old she was so that they knew how to charge us. The cherry on top was when we were letting our nails dry, my daughter spotted a bug scurrying around the manicure area. As the one star appropriately indicates, "Eek! Methinks not." read more

will not go back and do not recommend anyone else too. i went in a little before 7 last night thinking it would be okay since online and on their store door it said they close at 8 but when i got inside they said they had shut down their machine to have you pay so i was going to leave but one of the girls there asked what i needed done and i said i just gel, i don't need them shaped or buffed considering i had already done it before i got there so i get my desired result and she told me to sit and she would do my nails. as she was doing my nails she pulled out a file and the mechanic nail buffer and did it anyways after i told her not to multiple times and kept saying this is better even though i DID NOT want it done. then while she was painting my nails my friend noticed she missed a whole side on all of my nails but thought she fixed it until she saw it when we got home. then today literally not even a whole day later one cracks because of how thin she filed them too and a air bubble popped up in a spot because she messed up. so i called the salon and tried to ask for my money back because the experience i got was not worth the $20 i paid for, they said to come in so they could take a look at them after saying no matter what they will not give me my money back. once i got their they were very rude and i think it was the manager who talked to me acted like i was stupid and kept saying no she needed to shape them because that's what best for them and that they are professionals and know what they were doing when clearly they weren't. when i showed her the problems i had with my nails she kept saying that they weren't supposed to cover the whole nail with polish because that's not how it's done and it's not supposed to touch the cuticle but if that's the case then why touch the cuticle on the other side, and when i showed the crack and air bubble she kept saying i can shape them to fix when that's not what i wanted at all i didn't even want her to shape them in the first place. My first time here and i was not happy when i left. I took my two daughters, 8yo and 5yo. The ladies were all very nice to my girls. The man who did my nails was nice at first but when one of my daughters smudged her nails he seemed to be very mad at her and annoyed. After that he wasn't pleasant anymore. He also made my finger bleed with the tool. Again the woman there were very nice to my girls and talked to them and was sweet but the man who worked there made it an unhappy experience for me and my daughters. I won't be going back. read more

But I'll have to say the quality on my nails was average. The shape of my nails don't match. Like other people probably won't notice my nails but I look at them everyday. Upon arrival at my first visit to this location I was told that the removal of the gel on my nails will cost an extra $5 because I didn't get it here. The problem with this is the old gel has to be removed no matter how it got there. I came in looking forward to treating myself to some special self-care and this destroyed my expectations. I needed my nails done quick and found this salon by my job. came in for a set, i was greeted by so many lovely people. they offered me a drink, treated me and my mom with care and love to hear us talking about random stuff. the lady recommended glow in the dark nails for me and i absolutely loved them with my heart and will be getting them again LOVELY people i can't say anymore then that. they are beyond great and will 100% be going back in 2 weeks for my prom nails. read more

I just moved to this area and gave Prestige a try. Actually, a few tries. The first visit was for a manicure. I thought Tracy did a good job. My second manicure, however, I wasn't as pleased with. I went back to give them a 3rd try because I wanted to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure for my birthday. I was pleased with the pedicure. The manicure looks good but it isn't quite what I asked for. But, here is what pushed me to never going back: Politics became a topic of discussion and I was asked by an employee who I voted for and my thoughts about a current hot button topic in our country right now. I wasn't even done answering when the employee dong my nails and another employees started talking in another language. It was pretty clear they were talking about me but I tried to brush it off, think maybe I was being sensitive. However, when I third employee entered the room, he became involved in their conversation station as well and he and the other woman were now across the room talking. It was pretty obvious they were talking about me and laughing at me when they repeatedly looked at me at the exact same time. This happened 3 times. They the proceeded to get the hair dresser involved. Here's the problem I have with this experience: 1) It is highly unprofessional to talk about clients, in ANY language, while they are in your presence. And being so blatant about it makes it even worse. 2) You shouldn't ask clients their opinions if you can't handle the fact that their views may not line up with yours. Furthermore, it's very immature and cowardly to hide behind another language when you don't agree with someone, or to just talk about someone in general, when they are right there. P.S. I will say that Christy did my hair and she did a fabulous job! I give her 5 stars. read more

I've been going to the same nail place for years! I'm loyal loyal. It didn't matter that it was just ok or that I was cut a few times. We all have bad days! It's just that I started this new job and I'm so busy and my place is closed on Sunday's... so I tried a new place. On a Sunday. I know of this place bc my co workers daughter works there. Her name is Sidney and she's fantastic! Anyways I don't go to see Sidney bc I'm going for a pedicure. I see Kim. And let me just clarify that I like to throw in my headphones and just get my nails done. Introvert. No need to talk. And Kim got that! But we also talked and she was informative AF. My feet have never been taken care of in such a loving manner! I did the lavender jelly pedicure and it's worth every penny! The water turns into this amazing fluff that feels INCREDIBLE on your feet. And even as I lie in bed in my flannels sheets my legs and feet are so soft. The next day. Oh and the chair has a pretty epic butt massage. I was so very happy. read more

Not a good experience. I got the shellac and while putting the first coat on the second finger I said oh I wish I would have got something with glitter and her response? "Too late now". Smudge marks, areas missing paint and the rough and rude service will keep me from going back. read more

Super unprofessional, rude, and unclean. They were late opening the salon when we got there at 10 (opening time) so we came back later. Wish I hadn't. I tried telling them multiple times I wanted my nails done while waiting for a friend, but they were too busy talking that they ignored me. When they finally got it the guy that did my nails copped an attitude when he realized I had gel to soak off. He then used foil that had already been used on someone else on one of my nails to soak it off- in between playing games on his phone of course. That was just some of my experience there today and I can say that I will not go back nor recommend Prestige to anyone I know. read more

Came here on a Sunday. They practically threw me out the doors 20 minutes before they were scheduled to close. Told me they were closing early today and I was dry enough to go. My polish was still very wet and I smudged it on the door leaving. They refused to fix it. Had i been allowed to stay and fully dry this wouldn't have happened. I had to pay and go somewhere else to get it fixed the next day. The WORST service I have ever received. read more

I have been to this salon a few times in the past, was in the area so stopped in. They use to be very busy. Not any more and now I know why. It's Pretty but don't waste you money! I asked for short nails at the beginning of the pedicure. When she didn't clip them all I asked her for shorter nails and specifically said I like them very short. She didn't speak English well so instead of responding she did a file motion. She never did not cut them shorter. She was nice but did not do a thorough pedicure. Barely used the foot file. Differently just went through the motions. Very disappointed. read more

The people are nice and they do talk about you in there language.... I've been here a few times and have had bad work done. Also my friend got fungus from this place and they use the same tools on multiple people before they clean them. I will be finding a new place. read more
