I asked for short almond shape.Stephanie said she couldn't do too short for that style she clipped the nails and I asked shorter she said she'd file them down. She never did, then she didn't measure the nails against the others so one hand is longer than the other. The color is splotchy and looks scratched, because she kept buffing them. I was in need of a pedicure and found Lush down the street from my house. A friend joined me, so we were able to chat and really enjoy the time being pampered. The girls working at the salon were friendly and offered soft drinks during our visit. She did a nice job on my gel pedicure, leaving my feet feeling soft and a pretty red long-lasting pedicure to start the holiday season. I made reservations for volume lash extensions and my lash technician, Rose, did amazing!! I naturally have thin and sparse lashes (as seen in the before and after pictures) but Rose knew exactly how to work them and create a voluminous and flattering set on me. From the moment I walked into the salon, I noticed how pretty and clean the whole place was and the staff that greeted me were very friendly. Rose was extremely sweet and surprisingly fast (was done in less than an hour and a half) and made the process feel like hanging out with a friend. Been coming since December and refuse to go anywhere else! Quinn and her staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome. They knew by name on my second visit! I get pedicures and do the dip powder on my nails and never leave disappointed. It's not your typical nail salon where you walk in and it's full and they try to rush you in and out in 30 minutes. Very relaxed atmosphere and they have many loyal, regulars and that speaks volumes to me. Lashes....they do lashes & they are always customers coming in for that service as well. So I went to this place for convenience of location. First time I got gel done, it lasted for may be 10 days then I got dip done which cracked the same day(picture-2) so I went to them the next day. I made an appointment and I go there and told her that this is cracking and the shape of my thumb nail was not same on both sides, she got angry and started talking to another person (owner may be) in foreign language and they kept arguing for a while and I am sitting there feeling awkward as to why are they fighting. So the owner said I ll do you nail and she fixed it but again in 10 days it is cracking. I again went back to give them benefit of the doubt and got regular polish(pic1) from another person which lasted for may be 36 hours. This location was previously owned by a different salon that did not have a good reputation. But, a new salon has opened in its place and it has been totally renovated! The salon is very relaxing, clean and cute! Quin is the owner and she did my nails. I am very picky about my nails and i have nothing but good things to say about her work! She did an AMAZING job. My nails were not to thick, they were straight, even length, smooth and no sharp edges. They looked natural which is what I prefer! I have found my new nail salon! I was really hoping to get a full body massage this afternoon but there were no appointments left as I was trying to call on a Saturday at all the day spas. So I decided to get a pedicure after I was traveling back from Tulsa on my way home. I stopped at Lush Nail Spa. It wasn't very busy and it looked pretty decent so I said I'd try. Big mistake for me. Although the ladies are very friendly, my specialist was not very good at pedicures. I got the lush pedicure which included salt scrub and mask. My biggest issue with this pedicure is the lack of attention to detail my specialist had for my nail beds and getting my dead skin off of my heels. I know I don't have the best left foot but my regular specialist does an excellent job of making sure my nail beds are cleaned and smooth and that my heels are completely smooth. Also my massage for my feet and calves were very minimal. Probably like 30 seconds on each. I felt like there was a lack of effort on her part. The only good part was getting the hot stone rub but it was so short. Also the water was cold for my spa bath and the massage chairs are not that powerful. Although my specialist was very nice I have to say I was disappointed and I will not return. read more
