My friend and I didn't gave a great experience but it wasn't the worst and Vivi will do if you're in a pinch. We went for a pedicure and will advise that you stick with the basic. The salon is small and things are dated. Even so, we went when it was not busy and they did not make any attempts to distance people. Employees are wearing masks and they request it for guests as well. Free complimentary drinks are available. They did let us sit on the massage chairs while we waited for our pedicures. Their actual massage was not very confortable- not enough pressure with their hands but hurt me with hot stones that were too hot. My friend and I specifically picked pedicures without the hot stone because we hate it and we're confused when they pulled it out. There is a clear unequal treatment between new and regular customers, which is understandable. However, if you don't introduce yourself or interact with us, it makes it hard for us to be regulars when the service is subpar. read more

I'd like to start by saying the customer service here is so great! The ladies were very sweet! But my friend and I will not be returning and we wouldn't recommend this place. We decided to go get our nails done on lunch. She got a gel manicure and I got an acrylic set (just white tips). I have a place I normally go to close to my house but because this place is close to work..we thought we'd try it out. This is probably the worst set I've ever gotten. There are bubbles in 7/10 of my nail top coat that you can see very clearly, they look dirty. You can see streaks over the white part. Two of my nails are cut crooked or are on crooked. When trimming my cuticles I had a small cut on the side of my finger she cut the skin back on which made it bleed really bad, and then she put some stuff on it used a towel to clean the blood up and kept using utensils which didn't seem very sanitary when blood is involved. And then she accidentally cut my thumb which started bleeding..and i get accidents happen. Overall I just wanted a nice French style look and it's just not good. My friend showed a picture of what she was trying to do before committing to getting hers done and she was told they could do them and they got messed up too (same girl). It's just the work that wasn't worth $40 for me to literally want to go home and paint over them. I hate leaving bad reviews but I wouldn't recommend this place. We both left disappointed. I did call the salon, I asked for a manager, one wasn't available. I asked to leave my info and a guy put me on the phone with the person who did my nails. She did offer to redo them. I told her because of the number of mistakes that were made I didn't want to come back there, that I would pay my normal place to fix them. I asked that o be refunded. She said to send her pictures of my nails and if they're not right she'll refund me. I sent her the photos attached. After telling her I had put them on this post and she said that wouldn't work and I needed to take my review down and come in so she could redo them. I told her I stood by my post and that I would update it if the issue was corrected. After sending her the photos she said that when I left my middle nail that's lifting wasn't like that. And they won't refund my money that I can come in and get them redone. I text her back and told her that if she didn't want to make it right, that's her choice but I would appreciate a manager calling me back. I'm not normally a person who does all of this I'm not a "Karen" by any means but this wasn't ok. read more

I feel terrible leaving a bad review because my nail technician was extremely nice but other than that it was not a good experience. For starters, after she shaped my nails I showed her how crooked/slanted they were and she assured me of her technique and said that when I looked at the finished product they wouldn't be crooked. But they are extremely slanted. While she was removing cuticles and using the sand paper block she removed SO much skin and disrupted my nail beds to the point where they were all red and inflamed the next day. It's been almost a week and I still have scabs. Lastly, I paid for gel nail polish because it usually lasts for a long time but it started chipping on my pointer finger two days later. Based on the reviews I'm sure she was just having an off day but unfortunately I didn't have a good experience. read more

I usually love Vivi and have had good experiences here before, but I had someone do a French gel manicure last week (the day before my wedding day) who badly messed it up.... Nails were done way short, tips were crooked, white nail polish left on the tips of my fingers, and when I asked her about it, she said it was easy to get it off, then proceeded to have to use nail polish remover to get it off with a q-tip. Didn't say much else because I was pressed for time, and I just hoped it looked passable. Next day, at around 11am, my thumb starts peeling. Didn't do anything weird to it, no cleaning/dishwashing etc. not even any lotion. It just peeled while I was arranging flowers. No time to get it retouched before the wedding. Just hoped it would stay on. At around 12pm, ran my hand through my hair while getting ready and half the white tip fell off. The next day, right index finger lost half its tip. Then the next day, half the tip on my big toe. Didn't go back in because I had to leave for my honeymoon, where my nails were peeling more and more every day. My hands look pretty gross and it's only been a week and a half. Gels are supposed to last two weeks, not two hours. I'm very disappointed. read more

I'm really conflicted on the number of stars to give. A coworker and I went for a mani/pedi break. We made an appointment for 11am. They seated us on the pedi chairs and started the water for myself. Not sure why they didn't start my friend's water. It was 1150am before someone started on our pedicure. I was soaking for that long. They were short handed and very apologetic. Honestly, I thought since they were running behind, they would rush through our service. NOT the case at all. They took their time and when it got to the massage part....................WOW! AMAZING! I was so relaxed and did not want to leave. Received the same care and heavenly massage with the manicure. Nails turned out great! The salon itself is a little dated. The pedi chairs' leather is cracked on almost all the chairs. Not a big deal. I will be giving them another shot. Things happen. We've all had to pick up the slack when short handed. Hopefully next time I will be able to update and give them 5 Stars! read more

first pedicure I've had in a very long time and they did great! very gentle and only tickled when she was shaving my heels. I even got my nails powder dipped for the first time which was way easier than acrylic and no chemical smell either!!! I love love love Vivi nails. Amy and her husband took over this salon in Oct of 2013 so don't let old reviews impact your decision. I have been to hundreds of nail salons all over the country and Amy does the BEST pink and white acrylics I have ever gotten. They look natural and stay on! Even better, she is fast. Pedicures are also amazing and the calf massage is just icing on the cake! Comfy chairs as well. When I lived out of the area, I literally scheduled my travel to OKC around getting fills so that I could see Amy rather than using someone in my own area. Vivi Nails prices are lower than most other salons I have been to because they are still in "business building" mode, but won't be for long with such great service and technique. Even if she increased her prices, I would continue going -- that's how good she is. Oh...I think it's important to note that Amy speaks excellent English and is an absolute pleasure to sit with during services. I stopped by Vivi nails yesterday after reading a positive review on Google+. Admittedly, if i had read the reviews below, I would not have had my nails done. I have been around the block when it comes to nail salons and recently reviewed Velvet Monkey 2 where I was treated to a a bevy of dead cricket carcasses surrounding the pedicure chair and yes I know dead and carcasses is redundant - but it REALLY freaked me out. I had an excellent experience at Vivi Nails. Both my manicure and pedicure were expertly done. Manicure - Nails were filed exactly as I wanted them, cuticles were expertly trimmed - this is what I mean by expertly - nicely trimmed with no nicks. My polish was well applied right to the cuticle line but not on it. The massage which is an important component to me was well done - not too light, multiple applications of lotion and of a decent length of time. Pedicure - Tammy did one of the best pedicures I have had. She was incredibly meticulous. Because of a recent relocation, I had not found a salon and as a result had not had my feet done for likely 6 weeks. She removed shellac without an additional change. Then she dremeled done the nails to a wonderful smooth surface. She applied callou remover and then took extra time working over the whole surface of my foot. She did a wonderful HOT STONE massage - that was phenonmenal. My polish, a cherry red, notoriously difficult to apply, was flawlessly applied. They took me on time for my appointment. Not once did I feel rushed. They created a box with my name on it. The cost was very reasonable. From my perspective, Vivi Nails is a top notch nail salon and will be my regular salon. I have found my go-to place! I walked in at 5:30 (closes at 7) full well knowing that I may have to choose between a pedi and a mani (powder dip) for the sake of time. This may not be the fanciest place, but it's my go-to for pedicures. Leo's foot/leg massages are enough of a reason to come....for a few more: the pedicures always hold up, I'm constantly pleased with them getting me in for an appts when needed (as in, last minute) and the majority of customers seem to be regulars....always a good sign. If you do regular polish, you may be better off bringing your own as their polish selection is a bit strange and some colors look a bit old. Also, they have water and snacks! read more

Sorry to give any business a bad review but my last experience with the salon will be my final one. They have been doing my gels for 8 months and every visit was wonderful. It seems that the manager, his wife and mother in law went back to their home country and there is a new crew now. The past nail techs were gentle, soaked off the gels as I asked, and filed my nails the way I wanted them shaped. On the last visit, the nail tech literally peeled off the gels with her fingernail, thus taking off the top layer, all the while telling me how thin my nails were. She used the roughest emery board, taking off another few layers!. I stopped her and told her to give me a manicure and left as fast as I could. She charged me $5 for removing the gel (with her fingernail). Clients were coming and the shop was filling up with people that had booked an appointment as I had. They overbooked, were rushed and obviously not trained well. read more

Worst dip I've ever had. The first tech didn't know what she was doing and my nails looked horrendous. After a few nails I asked for her to stop, remove what she had done and I'd just pay for the removal. Another tech came over and quickly re-did everything. They lasted one day and 8/10 are now cracked or chipped. And to top it off, I didn't actually get a manicure - no cuticle trim, nothing. Definitely will not be back. read more

I've been going here for almost two years, and I've never had a problem with their service or the quality of their work. I've had amazing pedicures as well as manicures, and my 7-year-old daughter has had many kid's pedicures (cheaper than adults and they draw designs on the toes). Every time, they've made her feel like a little princess, giving her a pink back rest so that she can comfortable sit and get her feet done. I once left before my feet were completely dry and instantly smacked them into something, smudging one of my nails. They fixed it right then and there, no problems. As for nails chipping, even they advised that my manicure with color polish would not last very long. If you use your hands, they're bound to get chipped! But my pedicure color has lasted for well over a month looking as good as when I got them done. read more

The woman who gave me a mani/pedi was kind and did a fine job BUT the icing on the cake that decided the low rating? The lack of cleanliness in the salon. The fluorescent light/heated dryer for my nails was literally bursting with bugs. They must be attracted to the heat and were everywhere. They looked almost like a flea but were lighter in color. They jumped on my hands and crawled up my arms. I'm not talking about 2 bugs - this dryer was infested. When the woman asked why I pulled my hands out and were waving them to dry, I pointed. She quickly said "bugs?" and whisked it away - as if they were FULLY aware of this problem and hoping it had gone away. She clearly knew what I was talking about and wasn't surprised. I literally had night mares all night long that they were crawling on me and were a version of bed bugs. I'm considering calling the state licensing board - trying not to bc I want them to make a living, but I honestly could not have been more disgusted. And, I'm pissed that I had already paid $70 and was s grossed out that I rushed out without asking for any refund. read more

They must be under new management or something. I have been going here for a couple of years and LOVED the deluxe pedi. They suck now. Just horrible. I was in and out in 25 minutes. They basically soaked my feet in water, wrapped them in hot towels and painted my toe nails. No massage and my feet don't really look like I received a pedicure. Waste of money. DON'T GO!
