Been coming to this location since 2010 & let me say, I will not go anywhere else! Coming from NYC, I have very high expectations for a nail salon. I even thought Venetian Nail Salon was too pricey for the crappy service! I never wait more than 20 minutes to be taken care. Yes you never know who your getting when you walk in UNLESS you have an appointment (duh!). But I don't care who I get here since everyone is very good. It's family owned and Cindy (one of the owners) is always there. I love being able to have a conversation to distract me from the time and they always keep you laughing, especially Paul. I've been to this place 3 times since is right across the street from my house. I really wanted to make it work but the people here are so RUDE! Very unprofessional no customer service whatsoever, I tried a different person every time. I like the lady that did my toes the last time, very gentle hands and did good with the polish (that's the only reason why I'm giving 2 starts instead of one) the guy and his daughter have done my nails they both did an awful job. I was very nice and polite since I own a business myself in the service industry and I know some people make outrageous demands but these people were just plain rude. Talking in their language when I was talking to them and rolling their eyes. I seriously wanted to get up and leave. I will never be back and I don't recommend this place to anybody. read more

I strolled into here on a Saturday after the gym not knowing what I was going to get from this nail salon (you never know what you're going to get in South Florida). The first thing I noticed was the relaxing and clean atmosphere. It wasn't busy and I was so surprised that I was able to get in for a mani/pedi without waiting. They have a great selection of colors including a large number of Essie and China Glaze polishes. Kristi was my nail tech and she was absolutely amazing. She pulled out a sealed bag of sanitized tools (an abolute MUST for me) and started on my manicure. She shaped my nails perfectly (not too square, not too round) and did a great job on my polish. My manicure (with normal polish - I'm not a fan of the gel polish) looked great for a week after my service until it started to chip a bit. For me, a week with good-looking normal polish is almost unheard of. My pedicure was great. They have the massage chairs which is always nice and relaxing. One of my toenails was painful and ingrown and Kristi trimmed it. She was so gentle and concerned to not hurt me while she was doing it. I just wanted the darn thing cut out! But to have her be so concerned and gentle was an added bonus. Talk about instant relief. Their pricing is great. I paid $42 for a mani/pedi including 20% tip (they prefer if you bring cash to tip - I didn't know that and didn't have any on me, but they let me put it on my card). This is now my go-to nail salon and Kristi is my go-to girl. I'm so glad I discovered this gem of a salon! read more

First visit for a mani-pedi --not impressed I have not been anywhere recently and mainly wanted the good foot scrub. It was the quickest, unconcerned rubdown ever! The visit continued to worsen since I was unable communicate for her to understand when I explained that she missed a spot when painting my toe nails. The hands were worse - corners and the base of the nail didn't get painted properly. Posting this as I'm sitting here finishing my pedicure. Mani was first. 1st polish collection is so limited 2nd he used a used cuticle cleaner 3rd he used a used buffer. Didn't even buffer completely 4th he had a runny nose and kept wiping his nose with his Palm 5th he took off my polish on my toes and filed with a used file simultaneously while my hands were drying in the lamp and with my sandals on 6th he lotioned part of forearms only with minimal lotion and his snot filled hand 7th he didn't put acetone after the gel was dried. Told me this kind of top coat doesn't need it. It's been 2 mins and my nails have lint all over them. I seriously want to vomit. I wouldnt be surprised if I get an infection of some sort. Walked in and waited a few minutes to be acknowledged. They were somewhat busy, so I figured that's why. A woman requested I pick out my nail polish color and then sit. I was then motioned over to have my nails done by a young gentleman. He spoke very softly, so it was VERY hard to understand what he was requesting of me to do. He also wore a mask that covered his nose and mouth, so that didn't help the communications one bit. He did both my French manicure and pedicure. The outcome was just okay. He did cut a bit too much on a finger or two and when he was using products, I could feel the sting! He also didn't have much of a personality, but that could be because of age difference. He was younger doing the hands and feet of someone probably twice his age and opposite gender. That definitely makes for a unique social interaction. The fan table used to dry your nails was a bit awkward. It is long and one big piece. You sit and you are maybe two feet in front of someone else drying their nails. So you are literally staring each other in the face. Weird! Overall, the place was just an okay experience. The staff seems to be very into their work and not really into customer service. But in the long run, you come to get a manicure and pedicure, not social interaction. Would not really recommend the place, but I wouldn't say it was a bad place either. Somewhere in the middle. *NEVER again!!* **THEY WILL NOT HONOR THE YELP 20% DISCOUNT*** I came here because I was searching for a nail spot close to my home. I had previously gotten Nexgen nails at another nail salon but decided not to return there because I felt as though they damaged my nails with the excessive filing (dremel). I still had the nexgen on my nails and wanted to have it removed. I informed the tech that I needed it to be removed and would also get a pedi. Upon first look, the chairs are not as "fresh" as what I have seen in other shops. These are a bit older and it is evident by the worn edges and unstable arms on the chairs. My pedi began and I felt as though the tech was rushed (there wasn't a wait). The massage, well, it was nonexistent and as he applied the lotion, he popped each of my toes (Ew!). I didn't like that. When it came time for the towel, he used ONE towel for both of my legs. I usually visit Dainty Nails which is closer to my job and I love them; they use a towel per leg. It's just that they are too far from my home but I guess I'll just make appointments for when I get off. I digress... We then move to the mani station and he is cutting my cuticles (I prefer for them to be pushed back but whatever) and he nicks me. Ugh! Ok, things happen, let's finish this. I chose a neutral color. As he was applying the coat on the final hand (terrible painting), I realized that I hadn't taken out any money or anything and now my nails were wet. I'm so used to being prompted for this after washing my hands. Ahhh, the hand washing station, the sterilizing solution that held the brushes was cloudy. Nope, I won't be using those brushes!! Back to the drying station... I somehow am able to get my card from my wallet with only a lil bit of scratch on my nail. I'm just ready to go so I don't even ask for it to be fixed. I get to the cashier and she tells me $40 for mani and pedi. I reiterate the I only received a regular mani and pedi and she says that them removing the nexgen is an extra $5. Oh! It's been so long since I had an enhancement done that I didn't know they charged for removal. I then show her the 20% off first visit that you receive on your first time visit. She tells me that she doesn't know anything about this and calls over someone else who then says that they have been trying to contact Yelp because they didn't place the discount on their. She then says she will give me $3 off instead of the $8. I say ok and leave...Never to return!! So unfortunate because I'm always at Tin Fish or Pho 79 :-( read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I was told $25 on the phone for a full set of acrylics but when i went to pay it was $35 and no one told me the whole duration of my appointment shape and length were extra. LENGTH. He made three of my fingers bleed and my nails took twice as long because he kept stopping to answer text messages. My sister finished in half the time I did. I got my nails done 4 days ago and two nails have broken since, one from only scratching my leg. They were very unprofessional and rude to my sister who wanted longer, coffin shape acrylics like mine but got short stubby squares and blamed her for their work. Been coming here a good couple of years every 2 weeks. Seems the more comfortable the staff gets in their space and eachbother, the worse the service is getting. This is the third time Ive gotten Corey as my tech. I try to avoid him, but not so this time. Once again, he rushed through the pedicure without even clipping my nails or properly exfoliating my soles. Paint job sloppy, all done within 20 minutes then escorted over to his module for gel mani. Soon as we sit down, he plugs in his ear buds and starts talking on his phone to his credit card company about his $3000 balance and payment and requesting a credit limit increase. This went on the majority of my manicure. Again, rushing through, edges along my nail beds still rough, polish on top of cuticles and skin which will start lifting within a couple days, i directed him a comment about being on the phone and i guess he thought i was kidding because he just laughed and kept on talking to the credit company. I felt more stressed out after then before i arrived. He didnt even want to wait for the light to count down and turn off before moving from one hand to the next between polish coats. Im super disgusted. I just wasted 2 hours of pay on what basically amounts to a foot wash and kids party paint job. I walked in at 100 and he was done by 150 with a full pedicure and gel mani. Bad service-horrible care -they don't speak English among them know the language... Unfortunately I can't say anything good.. they speak among each other in Vietnamese constantly, they don't care on the health of your nail and by this I mean that u personally went for a gel polish change and I'm not sure if the lady was in a rush but she buff them all out- gave her the benefit of the doubt and she went ahead on to filling my nail- SHE WAS NOT EVEN LOOKING AT MY NAILS! I went to Prestige for a pedicure. The facade looked nice, but my tech did not speak English. I was called to the chair by another lady yelling at me to "come get in water". I said hello to my tech and she looked blankly at me. She would tap my foot if she wanted me to put it in water or take it out. The place totally lost me when she pulled out her phone, with the gloves she was using on my feet, and proceeded to FaceTime somebody. Luckily, the person did not answer. Had a pedicure here today and was impressed with the atmosphere and polish selections. The polishes were not half empty, and not dried out. All were either essie and opi. The salon was quiet for a Saturday afternoon which I really enjoyed. No waiting with an appointment. Everything was super clean and my technician was excellent. The whole experience was ok and pretty good, the place looked and felt clean but as always, you have to wait to see if you'll get the dreaded fungus. Wow, what a great experience! I feel like I just experienced the real Asian hospitality. I was taken care of very well the minute I stepped in the door. This is a real family owned business - most of the employees there are all part of the same family! Everyone is very friendly and you feel like you are just visiting some good friends. I had my pedicure done and while they were taking care of my feet I enjoyed super comfortable massage chair - one of the best massage chairs I've tried! Very relaxing experience. Also they have fast wifi, so I was able to get some work done at the same time. Then I had waxing done and eyelashes extensions. The whole procedure felt like it was just a pleasant chat with Cindy (she was doing both for me) and the most important - she took a lot of time to make sure my new eyelashes were perfect. I've heard some bad stories about extensions before so I was super attentive to all the details and she went an extra mile for me! Also they are very knowledgable about the area so they can give you good recommendations if you are looking for something in the area. I tried many salons in the Sunrise area but they were all lacking in workmanship. Then one day I was at 7-Eleven and my friends told me about a salon across the street that did great work. The salon was Prestige Nails and Spa and after I got my nails done there I was so happy that I knew I had found my life long salon. It's been a year-and-a-half later that I've been coming here and I can easily say this is the best Salon I have ever been to. I've been to many salons over the years but none of them match the excellent service that Prestige Nails and Spa provides. Never again! BIG disappointment! While the place was clean and the attendants were friendly, the service was not what I expected, at all. I went in for a manicure & pedicure (especially) and it wasn't until I got home that my little girl asked me, mommy let me see your feet now. I went to show it to her thinking, yes, they are now baby soft & was horrified when I saw all of the dead callus skin still on my heels! Ridiculous & upsetting, to say the least. I paid for a service I did not get. Luckily my manicure was good, but I usually upkeep my hands better than my feet, so they didn't have to do much on my hands. read more

This place is okay, it's near my house and I've been here twice. The first time I came it I liked the price (without using a discount price) and overall the person who did my nails did an okay job, minus the nail polish on my left toe coming off an hour later. But I decided to try again, but I was charged $8 more the second time I came, which didn't make sense because I requested the same mani/pedi from last time. I've been there for gel, lasted only a few days.. went back for dip powder because it was better than gel ( it was recommended by them) one of the nail was coming off the next day so I went crack to the place to get it fix and the owner old lady said " acrylics are better and last longer .. so She convinced me and I got it done only 2 days later one was starting to come off .., this Person also did a bad job .. This nail salon is one of the best that I've ever been to. They have an extensive color selection of gel and regular polish. If that wasn't enough employees can do beautiful designs that are outside of the regular everyday design done at regular nail salons. Look at the pictures I posted. I used to come here all the time for the sole reason that it was never really that busy & it didn't seem to have the snobby atmosphere that other nail salons often have. I can never say that I walked out of there with my nails perfect, they would usually have some minor imperfection afterwards- but whatever I'm not too picky. What really made me stop coming back was the last time I came there I was told that they would be with me in 2 minutes - I ended up waiting 40 more minutes than I should have. Mind you that there was only one other customer in there besides me & three or four workers who would occasionally look over at me sitting there. Once the customer was done getting her nails done she was about to leave and decided she wanted to get her eyebrows done. She looked at me and asked them if she had to wait, they said no and took her back and ignored me. I found it to be so rude that I walked out & will never return. Sad part is in the past I would always tip them very well, don't understand why they disrespected me. On Friday, May 11, 2012 I decided to go with my bridal party to Prestige Nail and Spa. My maid of honor resides around this nail spa and is a regular customer. So I decided to have Prestige Nail and Spa be the place to get my nails done before my wedding day (May 12). I was encountered by one of their nail staff and began my nail services. After my pedicure the nail technician person was working on my manicure, and it seemed as though the nail technician was not playing close attention and somehow cut the skin around my finger nail. Consequently there was blood bursting from my cuticle (proximal nail fold area). I was horrified and in pain because this was the day before my wedding and the finger that was cut was on my wedding ring hand. The nail technician simply apologized and I told her that it was okay that I understand. However, once she was done with the manicure I was just simply walked to the area to dry nails. I was never given a receipt and noticed that the managers at the front desk were making faces and speaking some Asian language. So after my nails dried, I walked over to the unprofessional staff and they asked me what services did I get done and I replied a pedicure and manicure. A showed him where I was cut to see if they had a Band-Aid. I asked the manager for a discount due to the incident that occurred with the nail services. I was surprised that the only thing the manager said he could do was a three dollar discount and put some Neosporin on my finger nail. Nonetheless, I paid my bill and the three dollar discount was what I used to tip the nail technician. As for my experience! I will never ever give business to Prestige Nail and Spa in Sunrise, Florida. Prestige Nail and Spa lacks professionalism and are not attentive to a bride-to-be.All Prestige Nail and Spa care about making is money and the customer experience is secondary. read more

I've gotten pedicures here, maybe a fill or two when I had acrylics, but usually only come here to get my eyebrows waxed. Christmas Eve I desperately needed a manicure, I get the Nexgen powder dip, but have never got it done here. I first off wasn't pleased by their color selection, it was only a few, but I tried to see past it since not all salons have been using this. I was very patient while I waited 45 minutes for someone to be available, it was 5pm on Christmas Eve, I wasn't going to complain. I finally got my services, go to pay and was surprised it was $63 before tip. It came out to $23 for a pedicure, $35 for the dip and $5 to remove my prior color (new charge to me, my usual salon does this with no fee) and then I tipped $12. Today is January 2, it's been not even a full 9 days and almost every single one of my nails broke, chipped, cracked or started to peel off. I tried to go in yesterday but they were closed, went in today explained the issue they told me no problem, fixed them, and then wanted to throw a fit when I refused to pay $35. I've been getting this dip for 2 years now and it usually lasts me 3-4 weeks before I'm due for a fill, and only costs me $50 for a mani and pedi. This place is up charging for their poor quality services. I will not even be back to get my eyebrows done. That is poor customer service, for how much I spent not even a week ago, they should've been more accommodating. Ended up having to still pay $10 FOR MY TIP on a nail that completely fell off and felt very uncomfortable when I was repeatedly told "I'll have to pay for her later" in reference to the tech not getting paid since she had to 'fix my nails for free.' I don't need to feel guilty, I am a paying customer who'd like quality of what I paid for. Had I gotten that in the first place she wouldn't have had to 'fix it' at all. read more

I had a pedicure today, at the Prestige Salon, after a nail technician by the name of Paul,at this salon was finished, I asked for the amount, I owed, and I paid,he said it was $23.00, and I gave a four dollar tip. and noticed he put the money in his pocket, but also noticed he did not go the counter, like often is done, to finish the transaction. After my bill was paid,I went home and the manager called and told me I did not pay my bill, and I was absolutely shocked for her to call me, because I had made an appointment the night before, by phone,as I have been a customer for 2 years, and I said it was paid, I gave the fee for the pedicure to Paul, and also gave him a 4 dollar tip. Her reply was, he said, you only paid him a 7 dollar tip.I said I never would give anyone a 7 dollar tip, he told me the bill was $23.00, which I paid,and I also gave the tip.She did not believe me and said he would not lie, I was so taken back by this , by her taking his word, and not mine,I went back to the salon, and put in a complaint. If anyone wants to take a chance on this happening one day to them, stay away.They lost a good customer today.I have been insulted, and never will I pay in cash again.Make sure you have your bill paid at the counter, do not give the tech any cash, it will be your word against him, and he might not return it to the counter.,and keep it, instead.and the manager will defend her tech instead. This nail salon is horrible! First, all 3 of the techs who helped me today were extremely slow and none spoke English well enough to understand what I was asking for. I showed them a photo of the polish I wanted - the same on both my hands and feet - a very simple French with glitter. They had one nail tech do my pedi first. It came out ok but not anything like the photo. Also, he did a bad job with the pumice on the heals - I will be fixing this myself. The the other tech who did my nails couldn't find a matching gel glitter from my toes - which I asked for from the beginning. I ended up with the mani and pedi looking completely different from each other, and I'm sure I could have done a better job myself! The manager came by and couldn't understand anything I was saying. I told her I was unhappy and she laughed - literally! She charged me full price even after the poor quality and the fact that my nails did not come out the way i asked.
