BEWARE, SHE HAS RESORTED TO THIEVERY You'll see that in 2015, I had raving reviews for Marcy because back then, up until 2019 (when I stopped going to her after all the acrylic lifted within 2 weeks), she was doing a good job and focused on her craft, having a clean & sanitized work area, and building a good business. Anyway, I stopped patronizing Marcy in June 2019. I never made any bad reviews or spoke negatively about her business. NOW, I'm leaving this review because she attempted to charge my credit card through StyleSeat yesterday (1/2/2022) for services not rendered - as previously stated, I haven't had my nails done by Marcy since June 2019. Luckily I have charge notification/approvals on my card, so it was blocked from going through. When I texted her about the attempted charges, she not only didn't respond but blocked me, even on Instagram. If she'd even responded (and lied) and said "it was a mistake" I probably would have let it slide, remove my card from StyleSeat and wouldn't be writing this review; but since her actions show that she has fallen low enough to steal from former clients, then I'm convinced that she is and will steal from current and future clients. So BE WARNED, she will try to steal from you through STYLESEAT or any payment app where she can pretend you had an appointment and charge your card. I debated on leaving a review but I want to warn others. I got my nails done for my sisters wedding. She was referred by my sister and her coworker. I got a full set with a little glitter on two nails. The set looked very nice and I loved my nails. Long and behold four days later I looked down at my hand and I lost a whole nail. I was completely shocked because there was no impact that would have caused this. Since I still had two days until the wedding, I called Marcy repeatedly with no response. Three calls, two messages and an Instagram dm later still no response. I didn't have enough time to go to someone else so I just lefted it and was going to deal with it after my trip. The day of the wedding I lost two more nails. I was completely disgusted. Lets be honest the nails were not cheap. I could have gottem four full sets in a regular nail shop. I have never had this issue and she came highly recommended so I didn't understand what happened. Finally got a response to my Instagram dm almost a week later (all she said is I just saw this)and by then I was too through. Never again. read more

I am active military and new to FL. So needless to say, I was in dire need of a new nail tech. I scheduled with her for a Friday morning. Initially she was very professional and quick to respond. She reached out shortly after the scheduling saying she needed to reschedule for a later time. I was ok with this until I had to explain SEVERAL times why I could not reschedule for later that day. But still I agreed to reschedule for Saturday morning instead. Then last minute she sent me a text asking to reschedule for 45 minutes later. This I would've been ok with as well. But because I didn't respond right away (I was driving to the location) she sent me a text stating that she was going to assume that I wasn't showing up as was going to go ahead and cancel the appointment. I told her to go ahead at that point. I wasn't feeling the aggression. And she still charged me a $35 late fee for cancellation as if I was the one who wasted someone's time. If you're looking for a new nail tech I would not recommend... not organized, rude and unprofessional. read more

I tried to book her when she was at (an unmentioned salon) and the person who had answered the telephone at the unmentioned salon was rude, almost as if they were upset that I was calling to book Marcy.
