We had a terrible experience with Prestige Pool and Patio staining the stamped concrete around our pool. The first job was done poorly that it had to be completely redone. Unfortunately the second attempt was just as bad- if not worse. After the second job, we tried repeatedly to contact the company about the problems, but could not get any response for over six months. The finish now looks wore than it did before the original work was started. We are now forced to another company to fix the mess, which is going to cost us thousand of additional dollars. An Endless Nightmare -- Please Read Before You Sign Anything With Prestige Pool I'm not someone who posts reviews. But after months of sleepless nights and feeling completely helpless in my own backyard, I owe it to every hardworking family to share what happened to me. If this stops even one family from going through what we have, every word will be worth it. In October 2024, we signed a contract with Prestige Pool for a pool and deck -- nearly $250,000 of our family's hard-earned savings. We trusted them completely. That trust was a mistake we are still paying for. Their contract is designed to make you helpless. You must pay in full before the plaster -- the final step -- yet you cannot test a single pump or filter until after it's done. You hand over hundreds of thousands of dollars completely blind. When I raised this, no one cared. They already had my money. They made written commitments and then denied them. Drainage approved by email by both the project manager and account manager? Suddenly "emails don't count." At 92% paid, I was trapped. They made me pay extra for work already promised in email. I had no choice. The moment the final payment cleared, I became invisible. I called and messaged my project manager Cody every single day. The response was always silence or "I'm looking into it." Three months have now passed. Not one person from Prestige Pool has knocked on my door, picked up the phone to ask how things were, or sent even a courtesy message asking if I was satisfied. Not one. The plaster they installed has visible stains -- and they still haven't fixed it. It's March 2026. I cannot use the pool, afraid they'll blame me for the damage and use it as an excuse. The lights on my deck were installed wrong -- and their solution was to make it my problem. I paid for premium FX Luminaire deck lights with separate zones. The electrician installed them incorrectly. After months of daily follow-ups, Cody finally gave me his answer: why don't you just buy the missing parts yourself and hire someone to fix it? I had already paid for this. In full. The mistake was theirs. But their answer was for me to spend more of my own money to fix what they broke. I was speechless. The firepit moment is the one I will never forget -- it should have been completed before the plaster. It wasn't. Months passed. Finally, in February 2026, Cody showed up. He brought a $5 bag of rocks from Home Depot. I almost accepted them -- until I read the label on the bag. It said, clearly and explicitly, do not use in a fire pit. These rocks can absorb moisture and explode when exposed to fire. When I pushed back, the rocks were replaced with a cheap bag of lava rock from Amazon that looks completely out of place. Not the glass rocks I was shown in the showroom when they were selling me this dream. And when I asked why? "It's not in the contract." That sentence -- those five words -- is the answer Prestige Pool has for everything. It is their weapon. A $100 garden hose reveals their true character. The crew used and mishandled my backyard hose during construction. Cody promised to replace it -- first saying their Home Depot account was blocked, then in January promising to sort it, then finally telling me nothing was wrong and he wouldn't replace it. If a man cannot keep his word over something this small, ask yourself -- this is the person Prestige Pool puts in charge of your life savings. Volleyball accessories paid for in October 2024 were delivered today -- March 2026. Five months of monthly follow-ups for something already paid for, with zero apology. And over all this, I experienced racial discrimination. I don't say this lightly. I say it because it is true, and because no one -- no matter how much money they spend or where they come from -- deserves to be treated as less than human. I have every message, email, and photo documented and ready to share. We have had to reach out MANY times because of - number of construction issues throughout the last 11 months. We are still waiting for anyone to respond to us to fix broken stones and our outdoor kitchen. Our lights did not pass city inspection after construction. They moved two light, leaving the lights unbalanced. We were told that someone would be by months ago to fix it...still waiting. It's been about a year since you were out, so you my be remembering incorrectly but other than a section of driveway/walkway that has shifted about 2" after 20 years of cars driving on it, there is not "widespread ground movement". No issues with home foundation, street, etc. Regarding communication, the only thing constant about it was that I constantly had to ask for someone to respond to my emails. Almost all of my emails required a "can I please get a response on below" follow up after about a week of waiting. This shouldn't be a surprise to hear as I called out the frustrating lack of communication twice via email. I would love to resolve this issue but cannot spend thousands of dollars on a solution that has no guarantee/warranty attached to it. Please let me know your thoughts on a resolution. My pool was built by Prestige back in 2021 (will be just 2 years old May 20). Since the pool has been built, here are my pros: weekly maintenance service and fast response from customer service, when I need to call. Cons: the title people they hired, are horrible; the title guys came out three times since they put it in. Titles were cracked after installed, the pool titles were cracked less than a year of being built, some of the titles are already loose and falling apart (see photo, that's only one part of it). The pool light isn't working properly, in pending repair before warranty goes out. The light guy came out a couple of weeks ago and told us to get with Prestige because there was one pool light he couldn't replaced due to the way they screwed it on. In order for us to get our replaced pump (broke during freeze) to be under warranty, we need to use their maintenance services for one year. When it came time for payment, we paid gem promptly and in cash so there were no hassle on our part. When it came to them getting someone to come fix the issues, it was a hassle. All-in-all, am I a happy customer? No, not at all. read more

We built our first pool with Prestige. This is our second summer enjoying our pool and so far we've been very happy with it. The actual build was a fairly easy process, lengthy but easy. Any time we had any concerns, Robert our build manager was able to address them. However, we did have some issues with the water heather once the pool was completed, we reached out to Prestige and they immediately sent someone out to take care of the issue. Unfortunately, the issue happened again, with the heater being an expensive part of equipment, we were concerned about it being faulty. After reaching out to Prestige, voicing our concerns and standing our ground, Prestige agreed to install a new heater. I've heard horror stories about pool builds, but all in all we were very happy with Prestige. read more

It's been almost a year that Prestige started building our pool on our new construction home. We had pool equipment that was stolen off the job site that Eugene and Prestige don't have the proper insurance to cover theft. They order half the decking and said the other half would show up next week and nobody will return our calls or text asking what happened. They also placed the water sheers on the pool in the wrong place. Completely unimpressed with the product and service that you get for a pool that is this expensive. We have also heard from other builders in the area that the company isn't what it used to be and they are all moving away from Prestige to other pool builders. Very disapointed in Prestige's serivces. We had a fairly major rework of our pool's coping. Their project management and communication was non-exsistant. Their mason never came back to seal the stone, so I will have to do that. The mason workers blew out our water hose. Never said anything, no less being sorry for that. At least Prestige was willing to reimburse us for the cost of the hose. They did a poor job cleaning the pool after the contruction. We got debris in the water feature, partially blocking water flow. I had to clear that debris. They did not bring the salt level back to required amount. I had to do that. They left sand on the deck and in the pool after installing the mastic. WORST EXPERIENCE! It's very fair to leave a one star review at this point on our outdoor living project. 50k being spent. 6 months to complete. (No it's not a pool either). Details can follow as warranted with back up if anyone asks. Text messages of utter embarrassing incompetence, emails and the like. Not one to leave a bad review but it's super important that others understand the anguish that working with Prestige brings. They can't read plans, they're workers are not consistent. Our pavers were crooked had to be redone they didn't do the bbq pour right I had to fix they started putting in lights wrong I had to stop them they left their guy on the side of my house only for him to knock in my door to take a shit. The work was SLOW and they blame CoViD when it aaa clearly a mess up on their end (we aren't dumb we can tell). I LOST HOURS of my work being their project manager. I HATED every second with this company. I asked for consideration of the last small payment due because of the above and then some (so so so much more), and they were checking. They're always just "checking" and they're always passing the Buck. They never answered and 7 months later they ask for it. My god don't use them. Worst ever experience. Rude. Gaslighting. HORRIBLE contractors. Strained project managers, average work. We spent our own money WHILE THEY WERE HERE grading and fixing behind them for our grass and I read plans to them my god they fucked up the sidewalk length and the paver pads. Again this is the worst experience. And thanks also Prestige for not considering the 5k discount I ASKED for 7 months ago --- with your email trails from me damn near through out and all the crap that happened on that job. Blame Covid. I am trying to be fair bu saying my experience (my neighbor too) was terrible. I am sure everyone has different experiences. Prestige advertises they are the big company and gets things done. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Our pool went way way way over the time line, with a mis step every part of the process. Wrong tile, work not completed, we had to play quality control for them. They cycles through Contract Managers throughout, one was actually our neighbors Dad, who admitted what a disaster Prestige was, ultimately resigned. To this day, we have issues, if Prestige decides to send someone to fix, they duct tape the issue vs fixing, our fire bowls barely function. My experience was simply horrible, horrible. Would never recommend them to anyone. Here is an example of their repairs, has been fixed twice, someone shortcut the auto fill connection twice, still not right. Pool light is not the correct color. This is in response to the owner's response to my original review - that had specific dates and actions - please note that I didn't get anything wrong - I have video from the backyard, emails, and texts to show each date and action. At no time did anyone provide us a quote for the services and I can assure you regardless of not knowing the exact cost, every business can provide a quote. I ask for the invoices from these 2 companies that you claim you ask us to pay - and received nothing. I will reach out to them directly for the invoices because for the 3rd party that fixed the broken pipe - I have video of the guy and actual time he worked versus when he was here. As far as your attempts to do something prior to hiring a 3rd party - originally we were told you were hiring a 3rd party - then you had folks come out twice and only twice - both times and not being deragatory about race - the people spoke no English - and I could not answer any of their questions - they waited first time for about 2 hours doing nothing but standing in the backyard and front yard and then they left - the 2nd time they came they also spent a lot of time standing while 1 and only 1 of them did some testing - but I have video of each and every visit that was made by each person. Also, you like to bring up how you fixed things that were not in warranty - let's be clear to anyone who wants a pool with you - nothing is really in warranty - unless it might be a pump or heater that another company would warranty - Prestige has none. The spa that has been leaking since the pool was filled in 2019 and should have been fixed, that was ignored so you can say it is not in warranty. The things you have actually fixed since you built the pool - you had to replace a seal twice that was faulty - and you had to fix a wire that you left on the ground. Again, I have a record of each visit and action as well as the numerous times your company has left our pumps running by not turning or setting things properly - the poor cleaning service that was reported over at least 2 years and never action taken until your guy actually was here the day it was cleaned and saw what I had been saying and he reported it - but we continued to pay and use your service hoping that it would get better. You can go on and on but your poor reviews continue to show the true colors of Prestige and reflect exactly what I have documented - poor customer service, no responses - maybe should have posted here and you could have responded sooner - and not taking care of your customers. I hope that folks will read the reviews before hiring you for any work and understand that you do not stand behind your work. I am happy to share the videos, the emails, the texts, and everything that I have to prove my statements because I have them as facts. And when you plan to charge someone thousands of dollars you should prepare a quote along the way, and again I would have had it done myself if I had known you would take over 5 months to actually go back to the 3rd party you had said you needed to use from the start and if you had maybe it would not have taken you over 5 months to get it fixed. So first of all I did not buy a pool from this company and I'm so very glad I didn't. My neighbor did though and our backyards back up to each other and so I have had to see the horror everyday when I come home. They have to be the laziest most unprofessional pool company in the Dallas area. They broke ground in first week in February, and except from the dig every step in the process had to be redone at least one time. They forgot plumbing 3x, electrical 3x causing them to cutout the pool shell install a patch with concrete only to have to do it again because they forgot a different electrical, didn't grade properly, had to re do the tile, the coping, forgot features, forgot lights, wrong parts, forget steps, plaster is stained from the wash out. They just finished tearing out the decking because they forgot overflow drainage, also had to rip the deck up because they installed the wrong fountains with no electrical. But the reason I'm posting this is because they came to fix the drainage for the 3rd time, it didn't work the first two times because it didn't have enough drop which the customer kept telling them it wouldn't at the location they put it. All they had to do is read the lot survey to see the plot drainage with grades. The laziness to not finish the drainage by 12 feet would have added 6 inches to the drop. Chances are they will have to redo it again given their unsuccessful track record. Avoid them at all costs the 3-4 month delays are not worth it. Update: It looks like they broke a pluming pipe when they were fixing the drainage and the pool no longer holds water. read more

I do NOT recommend using them for weekly pool service. There was a different person that came out almost everytime, they never came on the same day and no body ever actually knew what they were doing. They have to get a 3rd party technician come out for anything and they charge extra for that. We were paying extra each month for a filter cleaning package (that was to be performed at month 6) and we didn't even make it that long they were so bad. So they are now keeping the money for the filter cleaning that they didn't perform and nothing was in the contract saying they would do so - so my attorney father will be getting involved soon. Basically terrible in every way. Call Cool Pool People if you need pool service. read more

It's been a long and painful process dealing with prestige. Rarely does anything go correctly or is done in a timely manner. Actually, the one thing that goes smoothly is when they close you on a pool contract and take your money. God Forbid you finally get the pool built and there's a warranty issue. They all of a sudden act like you're bothering them. I wouldn't recommend having them clean your pool either. I've seen them show up and leave within 5 minutes. They also will do services improperly and not want to remedy the damage they caused. It's been a very daunting and frustrating experience. I'm seriously traumatized by it all. when deciding on a pool builder I'd try to figure out who is the best at all aspects of the ownership experience. I asked them to replace the heater interface because hail cracked the lid. It still worked fine but I'm selling the house and it was cosmetic. They said they had to charge me $150 diagnostic and then parts and labor. I told them the system was working fine, I just wanted a nice looking part to sell house. They would not do it. I went in to their store and asked them how much was the price, I'll do it myself. . . $365 plus tax. Then he added it would be $225 to install it. $590 plus tax total. Nine small screws is all it is. I just bought part on Amazon for $209. read more

My wife and I visited their store to talk about the pool that we will have built; our plan is to spend anywhere from $80-100,000. This store was at the top of our list. No more. We walked in, wearing our masks; the receptionist had no mask; the guy in the grill dept. had no mask. When the salesman came out to greet us, he had no mask, nor did he offer to put one on when he saw that we were wearing ours, as we should. Apparently, their management doesn't care about its customers enough to show that they don't want to spread a deadly virus. We were prepared to spend almost $100,000 with their company--I would've bought my grill there as well--but this clear lack of caring from the top down indicated that they wouldn't care that much about us as customers either. As we got in the car, my wife told me she would've gone with Prestige if not for this blatant disregard for others. I suppose they're making so much money that they can afford to offend potential customers--customers with money in the bank ready to spend. ot only are they four months behind schedule, there are items that were never discussed or included in the cost/agreement - like reconnecting irrigation, connecting gas to the grill/kitchen, re-attaching fence. One would think that if they are contracted to build a kitchen, and all water/electric/gas drops are available, that they would include the actual connecting of appliances, not with Prestige! So we have a grill, but they don't connect the gas and don't say anything until the end of the project. We have a sink, but not connected to the plumbing that is already there. Weeks go by without any type of communication from Prestige - thinking this was an issue with the project manager or the team, but in escalating to Prestige leadership, there is no accountability. Workers left urine-filled bottled on my back porch. Also caught one worker urinating in the back of my property. Workers have left gates open multiple times - after being told to please close them at the end of the day - and our dog has gotten out. Waste has been left on the porch and throughout the yard - dog ate the food and got sick. Workers have used my tools and equipment without asking - at least two hoses have been spoiled by Prestige. No respect for our property. Workers/subcontractors show up at random times without any notice. Many of them in unmarked cars/trucks without any uniform -- this is a new development, so there was always a concern with random people showing up. If I wasn't involved and constantly following-up, it would very difficult to get an update on any progress. Once project started, it took 2 months to get some type of timeline and the project transitioned to multiple project managers. Prestige has built (or building) a couple of pools in our neighborhood and others have had similar experience. read more

We came here during open hours to check out and get a quote on a summer kitchen installation for a house that we're building. We've driven by this place several times and decided to check it out. The problem is, nobody was there to help us out. We walked around, browsed through some items, and looked for a sales rep to help us. There were several employees in their offices. People saw us, but nobody cared enough to come out and help. One was even watching videos in his office and didn't bother to come to us. Personally, I think that's really unprofessional. This is the first store we came to and surely it didn't work out. We could even talk about our project. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. There are several other stores in the near vicinity that sell similar, if not the same products. I'd check out those places instead. read more

We got told it could take 2 weeks to get it. 3 weeks later we called them that we never received any phone calls to go get the cover that we purchased. They said they forgot to oder it. I have had nothing but problems with Prestige since selecting them to build my pool several years ago. Right up until paperwork is signed, they were very responsive and friendly, but it's all downhill from there. Communications went to practically zero after I was contracted. There was a huge delay in starting and building the pool (this was before COVID and supply chain issues), and it was practically impossible to get someone to share updates. Fast forward to after the pool is done. Their warranty department is the worst. I've had multiple issues with the pool, none of which have been solved to my satisfaction. Lights in the pool were "fixed" only to break again shortly after. I've been told things were covered by warranty only to be told months later they weren't. The delay in waiting for fix because it would be warrantied made the problem worse, and now Prestige just says "read your contract". I strongly recommend against using Prestige for your future pool. There are plenty of other pool companies out there and I can't imagine any could possible deliver a worse experience. read more

Our pool is sinking.....March of 2021 we broke ground for our very first pool. We chose Prestige Pool and Patio out of Frisco. Prestige was our choice because they seemed to be successful and put my mind at ease because I was nervous about having a pool. The sales guy told me "if it doesn't go well just remember... anything can be fixed." From the start there were issues which I know are normal for a pool build. After they dug the hole seemed to sit for longer then I was told that it could. Once they came to do the gunite (concrete) they didn't cover my windows. All of my windows are pitted on the North side of my house because of this. I settled for a window cleaning and chose to live with the pitted window because I didn't want to cause problems to keep them from finishing the pool. The pool was finished in late summer of 2021 and we were so happy. The finished product was absolutely gorgeous. The design fits our small backyard so well. Well the excitement didn't last long. The Spa has never had pressure and they would come to fix it but it's never been right. The Travertine we chose all around the pool separated within 2 weeks of the finish date. It was uneven and instead of putting sides on the travertine they did a concrete barrier that has broken, cracked and fallen at least 7 times that I know of. Prestige hired this job to an outside contractor. They kept sending the same contractor out every time to fix the Travertine. We finally after 2 yrs just hired someone to do it. Last Spring 2022 we noticed our pool was sinking, the water on the tile line was down 1 inch lower on the North side of our pool, the whole North side and where the steps are it's even more than an inch. We immediately called Prestige to tell them because the area where the steps are is also where the Travertine kept coming apart and separating. On the other side is where the Travertine kept collapsing. All on the North side of my pool. Prestige sent someone to do a string test to determine how much our pool had sunk. The test determined that it had in fact sunk. This caused the Spa overflow to stop coming over the side. It has sunk so much the water doesn't even come down on the main side. A few months later we noticed all these cracks on the bottom of the pool and down the sides. One crack is so large it is all the way up into the coping and tiles. Prestige has sent several ppl out to look at our Pool. The contractors told us they probably didn't use proper foundation for Farmland. This whole area was farmland. They blame everything but their faulty work. It is funny because my neighbor has a pool and they have had no issues but they chose a different company. Prestige has stalled us for more than a yr. Their tactics are to send someone out to make it look like they care. They do not respond to emails. I have asked several times for a meeting to get my pool fixed. A pool company we hired to look at the damage told us if we don't take care of the problem that it could go into our foundation. When signed our contract we were told 6-8 weeks. We understand that there are weather delays but it's been almost 8 weeks and we are no where near being halfway done. They have this nice app that keeps you updated on what they are going to be doing daily which is great but completely useless because it changes multiple times a day. There will be 3+ nice days in a row and they don't come. They schedule something on days that it rains. This is not just a once or twice occurrence this is all the time. This last week they finally got around to putting the tile on. I am so glad I worked from home that day because the tile was not even close to the tile we picked out. The tile guy was really nice and apologetic but it wasn't his fault the wrong tile was ordered. We got in touch with Prestige right away and they found the tile we picked out but "someone" wrote down the wrong number. Luckily this tile was in stock and available for pickup that day in Dallas. Tile guy mentioned that they were also running behind due to the weather and his guys where working whenever they possibly could, including weekends. He also mentioned that this wrong tile that Prestige ordered was a special order so it took several weeks before he got it. The masonry and coping was contingent on that tile being completed. So there was more time wasted. So tile guy was able to come back the next day and everything is all good. Tile looks great! They were supposed to do masonry, coping and more electrical stuff this week. Could have done it Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday but then they schedule for Friday and then on Thursday (yesterday) it changed to next Monday. So it's one week later and nothing has been done to my backyard. It was nice everyday but Wednesday. So not sure why they didn't do anything? I keep getting told they are behind. I get that but then hire more people or don't take on as many projects. My husband and I are extremely frustrated. We had so much confidence going into this project but now who knows when it will get done. Hopefully before the 4th of July. Bottom line is I get it, weather happens they cannot control that but whoever schedules everything is not doing a very good job. Every time something has gone wrong they have made it right. There were a few complaints we had: the tile, my tree they were supposed to save and replant, our pergola that broke, they didn't come drain our pool unless we asked them to and of course completion time. The pool needed to be drain a few weeks after the gunite was sprayed. We had 2 feet of standing water in there. Perfect mosquito breeding ground. They were like we didn't know. Really? At this point it had rained multiple times, over those first few weeks. All that water is not going to evaporate.They fixed all these issues except of course the completion. I know once this pool is done it is going to be beautiful and hopefully worth all the stress. I just want to be able enjoy my backyard, rather than be confined to a 10'x10' patio and a backyard where one side of fence isn't torn down so all my neighbors can sit there and gawk at me. There is absolutely no privacy and my kids have a very tiny front yard to play in. Now I have to worry about them running out into the street and getting hit by a car. My problem is please keep us better informed and keep your stuff accurate. I don't understand how you guys can't schedule what crews goes where until the morning of? This seems completely inefficient. Once they decide to get our pool done I will update this review but at this time I am not satisfied with their communication skills. However the work they have done so far is very nice. The crews that come out are really nice but they leave trash in my backyard. Prestige Pool and Patio - Unfinished pool - Hot Tub & Pool Near Me - Frisco, Texas

So finally after 13 Months the pool/fire pit area/pavers around the pool are complete without any issues (We've been waiting for 3 months for a part for the heater). Pros: Pool itself looks good and seem to operate without much of an issue. Cons: 1) The communication within the company itself and lack of any kind of proactive communication with the customer. 2) On day one of the dig which included ripping up an old deck, they were just collecting and dumping all the material into a pile on my property. The agreement with the sales guy was that they would dump the wood but keep all the non-wood (concrete footings, pvc drainage, etc). When I questioned what the F*ck they were doing, the "Project Manager" didn't have any idea what the agreement was. He said he didn't know what the sales guy and I spoke about (!?!?!). I told him I knew because I was there....(he should have talked to the sales guy about the job). 3) The project (non) manager as they called him at the start of the job was changed on their website by the end of my project. They are now called construction managers (More appropriate) as the project manager didn't know Sh*t about what was happening when. 4) The sales guy said we will know everything that's going on at all times with their website used for scheduling (total BS)..... the construction manager (project manager) said they don't use it. 5) The dig! So they allocate 8 hours for dig time, but if they go over it's an arm and a leg ($$$$). So they went over by 8 hours but we didn't know this until 3-4 weeks after. The issue was we had no way to validate how long they spent. They should have let us know ahead of time....again a project/construction manager shortfall. 6) The dig started ~01AUG2020 and the startup of the pool was complete around beginning of March2021. WTF! There were weeks that no one was at the house; So, we had the pool build during COVID, but we also signed the contract during COVID, so they should have been able to gauge the market and order products and lineup contractors accordingly. They did a HORRIBLE job at the whole "Project Management". 7) We put in a slide which is about 10 feet up; they allowed us to select the pavers that are very slippery (how would we know); thankfully one of the workers on the job mentioned it would be a bad idea and that we should use other stone for the stairs that is not as slippery when wet. 8) We also put in a log burning firepit and when the pavers used cracked after the second or so fire, the project/construction manager said "well we normally only put in gas firepits" so he didn't know. I told him "well I normally don't put in fire pits so I don't have any idea of the proper material to use, that's what I'm paying you for" (they did come out and fix after a redesign with firestone at the top). .. Again WTF. 9) The pavers: So they looked good, but it took me QC'ing the job of the Subs. The, you know,....project manager, didn't do his job. The pavers were very very uneven. I had to mark them with chalk so that when they cam back they knew what needed to be addressed. 10) The sales guy rendering of the job and the actual build blueprint don't really matchup. We agreed to the photo that we saw, but the project/construction manager built to the blueprint even if it didn't work (from a flow perspective or visual appeal). A lot of arguments but we got what we wanted. 11) The only negative on the pool itself is the in-floor system. It's not all that it was advertised to be. I still have a lot of debris that collects in certain parts of the pool, despite the placement of the in-floor heads to be engineered/spec'd out for optimal effectiveness. 12) Startup was a bit of a mess; it stared during snowmageddon and then it stopped...then it sat allowing for crap to settle in on the pool and make it quite dirty looking. The pool was not brushed enough and the walls were very rough. It looks ok now, but was quite a mess when it was turned over to me. Lastly on the three month startup, the service itself doesn't automatically include a vacuum each week, which is needed due to the crumbles of the gunite collecting. 13) The end of startup is pool school. That guy did a good job, and the service techs that came out to fix the heater were good too. 14) In summary, if you take what they give you, then you get what you deserve. read more

In my opinion, I found this company to be extremely unprofessional. We originally contracted Prestige for a pool renovation in October. The project is still yet to be completed and the owner and salesmen refuse to answer calls, respond to emails, or voicemail. I would say if you want a company you can rely on, this may not be the company for you. I'm truly disappointed in the quality of service. I've never dealt with a company like this. "DREAM IT, BUILD IT, LIVE IT." should be "DREAM IT, BUILD IT, REPAIR IT" I'll start by saying I have read the reviews posted on page 1 and 2 out of 10 are good, I also looked at the other 4 pages and the reviews are about the same. so, with that there is a 20% chance that your project will be a success. My wife and I had gone to 3 other pools companies, Prestige was the highest of the bunch minus Roberts Pools, The Prestige showroom was very nice. We signed our contract with Prestige Pool and Patio late in 2017 and was told weather permitting it would take 10 weeks, between the beginning of the project and completion, the Frisco area supposedly suffered through 35 weeks of bad weather. After my backyard project was complete my family and I left the country for a 5-week vacation, so at the beginning of week 51 the fun begins. I have had a gas line to the outdoor kitchen that was not properly connected and leaking gas into the cabinet, BOMB! Over the course of three years, I have spent more than $3500 finding and repairing leaks to our irrigation system, that was never properly re-installed. We found a 46" crack in the liner, which they repaired, now I have another liner issue that I notified Prestige of 4 months back and nothing has been done. Below is my current list of issues. The list is from an email I sent to Prestige. 1. The spa needs to be repaired per the pervious emails. 2. The coping and tiles need to be repaired per your email below. 3. The Spa Jet need repair per observation by your tech, low pressure, busted pipe? 4. The location of the 4" x 1 1/2" piece of pebble tec liner needs to be identified and repaired. As it relates to item 4, my thought is the liners should be replaced, because there have been multiple issues with it in the last 3-years, Pebble Tec pool finishes are slated to last 10-15 years. Three weeks back I had another company come and replace the top of my pergola the cost was $3800, because it was not installed correctly, the crew could not get the screws to go through a clear material into the cedar boards. The contractor that did the install came twice to repair but just couldn't get it right, I had a Prestige guy come out he agreed the job was not right and would send someone out to take care of it, the guy came 2 days later to take a look and never came back. My spa light had to be replaced after two summers, under warranty, that light was replaced, the replacement light has gone out in less than a year and one of the pool lights only goes to green and is about to go out, a tech came saw the issue and sent an estimate of $1400 to replace both lights. I had another company come take look and was told the problem was they left a screw out of the wire harness box open to the weather, GREAT!!! I have had Prestige come and do non-warranty work they come quick and bill you equally as fast, they just don't seem able to get the warranty thing down, or they will we can't do anything about that it warrantied by Jandy or some other company. All the reviews that Eugene responds to are not very detailed or just simple things like they install the wrong tiles. One reviewer said he is a nice guy and attends his kids ball games, all I can say to that is "WOW!!" I have Eugene cc'd on all the emails I have sent to his representatives, he has never interjected or replied, I am convinced this company is just floating taking money for a substandard product. If Eugene replies to this, he'll probably say he'll investigate it or he'd to discuss further if I provide more information. I am a small business owner and I know how hard it can be to manage sometimes so I have resisted the temptation to review Prestige Pool and Patio, at this point it is insane the lack of concern regarding the quality of the product Prestige Pool and Patio is installing on people's property. On the website the company motto is: "DREAM IT, BUILD IT, LIVE IT. It would be more accurate and honest if it said "DREAM IT, BUILD IT, REPAIR IT" For any family that has "DREAMED IT", I have a litany of receipts and emails, voice messages and pictures that I am willing to share with you before you to decide to let Prestige Pool and Patio "BUILD IT" and if you heed you may not be in the 8 out of 10 (9 out 11) people here complaining that will have to "REPAIR IT" read more

We did extensive research before choosing Prestige. I will tell you upfront, when you put in a pool, it's construction, not everything is perfect in life or construction. BUT ... if you want a company that stands behind their work, are willing to leave their kids softball game to tend to your littles issues or an owner that will drop what he's doing on Sat to come to your home, then this pool company is for you. Disregard the 1 star reviews that say they never got a call back, or never actually used this company, because that rating makes no sense. I am a real Pool customer. I had Prestige put in a pool, hot tub, stone decking, cook area with refrigerator, grill, storage and generous bar area as well as an amazing covered porch with fan and built in bar stools. Their work is breathtaking! Toby was our salesperson. He was amazing. He crafted a gorgeous pool out of a really bad hand drawn picture and brought it to life. In fact, when my heater didn't come on for an upcoming pool party, he was literally in his car (leaving his child's game!) driving 30 minutes to my home to see what was wrong since it was after hours. But, we got the heater on. Toby has been there for us 100%! There were some things we didn't like with some of the pavers. The owner Eugene came to our home to hear our concerns. It was fixed immediately. He even worked on the hot tub before it was finished! He cares about his pools. Our project manager, Stuart, was wonderful. He kept us in the loop and the kept the project moving forward. I was so happy when it was done. I'm in my backyard every day! I will only use Prestige to take care of our pool maintenance. Ron, Kyle, Taylor and the entire crew that come to my home, treat you as family and they are always kind. Now they're not magical so they can only get things done in real time waiting on parts to arrive. They're a very busy company for several reasons, they create beautiful pools, they personally take care of any problems and you're not just a number to them. But remember, be patient. It's a project and not everything can be perfect because there are so many working pieces. But if you are patient and know they're on it, trust that they will make it right because they ALL take pride in their work ... which is YOUR pool. read more

Our pool was completed in May 2021. Within a couple of months we noticed the pool appeared to be leaning or crooked. It has sunk on one end and is raised on the opposite corner by about 2 inches. It is a visual eye sore and continues to move. Prestige is not willing to do anything about it. They told me they believed it was not moving anymore but it is and they have quit responding to me. They offered to retile the pool to make it even with the water line but then everything else would appear crooked, its a joke. Our pool was excavated on January 15th of 2021 and gunite was not finished until March 24th 2021. It sat exposed for over 2 months and caved in 5 times before gunite was poured which contributed to the poor foundation. Prestige has ignored my calls to address the issue as the pool condition worsens. read more

Worst experience of my life working with Prestige Pool and Patio. It was supposed to be a small built in grill with concrete countertops. All parts were in when we gave them $5000 in Feb to start the project. Come April, we had not had any progress even thought my husband was in constant contact with them. Finally they send out a PM, Mike, who got the base installed and then it just sat for several weeks. But of course, they wanted another $3000. Mind you, my husband was in contact with Prestige scheduling and sales everyday trying to get things moved along, but to no avail. Roxanne should be fired, the sales guy we had should be fired...Mike the PM was actually fired. Once they assigned Dom to our project, things moved along, but still had scheduling issues (Roxanne). If you want to pay a lot of money up front and then have your project sit, then by all means, go with Prestige. If you'd actually like your project completed on a designated timeline and have good customer service, then DO NOT use Prestige. I can't even imagine putting in a pool or other large project with Prestige as it would probably take over a year to complete and would be the worst headache ever. I do not have one good thing to say about Prestige Pool and Patio. Run and do not use them! read more

My experience mirrors some of the other 1-star reviews on here. Generally we are happy with the final pool and outdoor area, but the experience left much to be desired. The sales process was amazing and one of the main reasons we went with Prestige. Toby is a gem. However, it went bad from there. I would not recommend due to the following reasons: - internal communication and organization within Prestige was lacking. At times the left and right hand seemed disconnected. - external communications and organization with contractors was not good. A couple of times we had to direct the contractors what to do and in others the foreman had no idea what the contractors were doing and when. At one point he called me to let me know the contractors would be there the following Monday only to be surprised when I told him they were at my house. - communication with us was not good. We were often left wondering what was going on due to lack of updates, inaccurate updates, unwillingness to get on a phone call and no walk throughs on any aspect of the project except for the pool school at the end. When a customer is making a purchase of this magnitude over-communication is a must. They have an app to keep clients updated, but it was rarely accurate or dates were constantly changed with no explanation. Or, the app was simply offline. This project was estimated to take 8-12 weeks and ended up taking 18.5 weeks. We understand rain delays and are super easy people to work with, but we went up to 3 weeks at a time without seeing or hearing from anyone. - Oversight and quality control of contractors' work was lacking. I've got rocks that have already come off our rock wall, the sod and sprinkler work was lacking and it shows, and the fence work was not good to name a few. I was warned that the tractors/backhoe may crack the driveway and I'd be on the hook to repair it. In the end it was the fact the contractors drove a large truck full of rocks (and dropped them on the driveway) that caused me to have to pay to get my driveway repaired. A bobcat or other small tractor would have easily ensured that didn't happen. Also, at one point when the pool was nearly complete they realized they had forgotten to put in an overflow drain and piping thus causing me to now have a pop-up drain in my backyard versus it being tied into the rest of the drainage underground. I don't recall ever seeing someone actually do walk-throughs on contractor work with us or without us. I will give them credit for not charging me for extra sod. They underestimated the amount of sod required and sent me an invoice, but after I complained they covered the cost of the additional sod. In the end the owner did accept responsibility and assured us that all issues would be sorted. They took care of a few issues straight away. However, we've heard nothing for 3 months. I've personally just went ahead and fixed a number of the issues myself. The rock wall and waterfall still has issues, but I'll likely just get someone in to repair it. In the end, follow-through in addressing complaints will always help a business to recover from a bad experience and negative review. read more

Their quote was actually the highest out of four bids, but apparently $$$$ doesn't equal great quality or customer service! It's been five months and the job is only 50% complete and they have 80% of my money (quoted amount).
