I was in need of a place to clean my white hoka shoes they were so dirty from the trip. I gave this place a chance and it did not disappoint. There's plenty of parking it's located by 7/11. The process of very fast and easy I let him know that I want my shoes cleaned he told me that he isn't sure it will be guarantee 100% back to white. But I wanted my shoes cleaned. He charged me $35 which at first I thought it was kinda pricey. He accepts cards and after that gave me a receipt and told me that it will be ready in 3 days. He did write my name and my phone number down. But when it came the day to pick up I couldn't pick it up since I was held back at work and I thought he would call me but he didn't it would be nice to get a call to let me know the shoes are ready to be picked up. I love crocs. I have many many pairs of them. However, one of my favorite pairs broke. I was devastated. However, I got on the google to find a shoe repair and Prestige popped up. Then I did a little more research on Yelp and I knew that they were the right shoe place to go to. Plus, they were open before 8am. I go to the shop and I asked the guy if he could fix it. He told me that I just needed a little leather. I was a little skeptical after he said that because crocs are all rubber. The kinds that I wanted repaired were hiker crocs and they have a Velcro strap instead of the normal rubber kind. I trusted him and he came through. I am so happy that I found this place! I had some Tory Burch wedges and a boot that I brought here to fix. My Torys button sole was all worn out. I had it put away for almost a year at my house and was going to throw them out because I couldn't wear them anymore. I was looking on yelp and found this place. This little gem is hidden inside a small plaza next to a 7-eleven. The parking lot is very small and only has 2 parking spots for this place. However, you can park anywhere you find. My Tory button sole was all ripe off. The owner (forgot his name) was able to replace the whole sole and the heel part and match the color to the shoes. I had one of my boot's zipper come off and he was able to replace it with the same exact color. Both shoes repair cost me $75. I had to wait one week for them to pick up. I was very satisfied with his customer service and work. I would recommend you guys check this place out! He does other work like bag cleaning, other high end brand shoes. I'm a big supporter of small businesses, especially given the pandemic, and I debated for the a while whether to write this review, but in this case I feel it's my duty to protect other clients. I took two pairs of Kate Spade shoes that needed some stitching to securely attach the clasps. The quote per pair was rather expensive for a couple of stitches ($50 each!), but I figured at least I would be helping a small business stay afloat in these tough times. When I got them back later that day, I was appalled to see that the stitching was done so unevenly and roughly (the closest I can describe it is that it looked like it was sown in the dark), and the shoes had some stains/spots on them that the person who handled the stitching hadn't bothered to at least wipe down after handling the shoes. It's surprising that with few clients walking in to a non-essential business like this one (especially with the higher price tag compared to the quality of work completed) a basic/decent level of service couldn't be offered. I'd think twice before trusting this business with my shoes or bags. read more
